BEWARE....DO NOT USE THIS TOWING COMPANY!!!!! HORRIBLE TOWING COMPANY.....I REPEAT HORRIBLE....the tow yard does not have their name on the building and then when you pay the invoice is from another company. The owner was very unprofessional not only to me but to my auto insurance agent.

Needed a new battery, through AAA. Nick called quickly after AAA put in the service request; confirmed they had a new battery for my vehicle, and was at my home within a half hour. The entire process with them was easy, quick, and professional. Nick was wonderful!

Absolutely dangerous operators. Going 70+ mph down Richlands Hwy, making abrupt lane changes with no signal, tailgating. Maybe trying to cause an accident to drum up business?

Jed called ahead of time to give me an estimated time of arrival. That was much appreciated! He was able to get my car started, but also advised having the car looked at and what to tell the repair person. Throughout our interaction, he was friendly and respectful.

Jed was great! Car died in the middle of a very busy road. Good Samaritan toe roped car out of traffic. Jed was there within 30 minutes and got me and my car home safe.

This company was issued to us with our roadside service. The driver that came to help was very nice and even took the time to look at what we think is the problem. He also took the time to explain everything he was doing. Would recommend.

My wife and I along with our 10 month old daughter almost got t-boned by a driver coming out of the Truist in Havelock. If the driver used his breaks it was far too late. It is obvious he was in too much of a hurry trying to do a California roll into the Highway in his large hauling truck. I had to quickly move to the left lane hoping no one would be beside us. My wife calls the company to report the incident and lo and behold it was the driver who answered the call. The driver identified himself as the owner and proceeded to call my wife a liar! What would my wife gain by lying? That was so unprofessional to call a potential customer (potentially, by his own doing, due to his poor driving) a liar when he should have been a grown up and apologized. My wife thankfully was able to respond with "okay sir, stay safe out there". I thank God that nothing happened tonight and maybe we should have left it at that but the idea that a grown man could not even apologize for something, is worth reporting. This is the kind of man who would without a doubt in my mind have blamed us if he were to have hit us and seriously injured us or worse. Maybe I am being sensitive about this because my 10 month old, first born daughter would have been first to be hit. If you cant apologize to grown adults at least apologize because of the potential harm to a child. Even hardened criminals show compassion to children. Before I rant on I'll end the matter with the simple fact that I'm obviously disgusted and disappointed in this man and his company. I do wish you safe sir. Response: Sir, our car has automatic lights. They certainly were on. I have about a dozen people that could verify that I had them on when pulling out from where we had come. It would have been almost impossible for me to navigate and to have safly made it into Havelock without going into one of the large ditches on either side of the highway if I had indeed not had my lights on. Especially at the speed you claim I was going! 70 in Newport is pitch black at 9:30 at night. The driver drove past us. If he was trying to get our attention he should have pulled next to us and made his attempt at communication. I pulled next to the driver to get the name of your company so my wife could call. If he did honk a horn, it was broken. You may want to inspect your vehicles before use. Also, if this was indeed the case and the drivers concern was our safety and to inform us about our lights, then why did the driver immediately go on the defensive and call my wife a lier? This explanation does not add up. Again, you still can't show the simple human decency to apologize. Only to make excuses and blame us. Truly sad.

Great and quick service, friendly staff as well. Brett arrived down while my family was on vacation and was very welcoming and approachable, checked out the vehicle and took over the situation with ease. Communication was clear and precise as well!

Recently had an encounter with one of their tow truck drivers in the parking lot of Old Navy in Jacksonville. Absolutely astonishing behavior, speeding in the parking lot and nearly T-bone me, and then proceeded to yell and flip me off when he did not have the right away. I truly hope this is not how this business conduct its line of work or condone this behavior

Can’t thank these guys enough for taking my baby home after I wrecked ? my car even gave them a bunch of issues but they got her home safely without adding to the damage I did. They were also super nice and lightened the mood. Here’s a couple pictures to show the hard work they put in. They didn’t just hook her up and take off which is what I was worried would happen (tow companies normally are just concerned about getting it moved)….but they actually gave a damn and looked out for my car and I am so grateful ?? first picture is where I jacked my car up to keep it off the floor until they got there, the next two pictures is them prepping my car to be hooked up and the third is self explanatory. Thankyou again !!!!!!

At the beach, on a military base to see our son for only a few hours. We got locked out of our rental car and they contacted Cherry Point towing to come help. Unfortunately we didn't know when or if they could get to us and it was getting dark. Another company was called and got there to help us with no issue. The cherry point driver was so rude when they found out another company came to help us! Texted me telling me I waisted his time and gas but he wasn't even to us yet. We were locked out of our car with 6 kids!! I don't recommend using this company. Have some empathy next time!

Ok this place is sketchy as can be.$1,000 to pull a small car that they damaged further from a small ditch at her residence !! She didn't have it right then being it was an insurance claim and so they drove 35 miles!? To hopefully rob this poor woman of her car... Nobody legit has a bunch of 1 star ratings and 5 star ratings with the 5 stars mentioning names. This is a con man. Said he doesn't have the car then says he does. Then Said he wanted the money and I said how much and he hung up on me! He has different addresses showing up and different info and numbers showing up on here. Why did he drive 35 miles to tow a car that was supposed to be just an extraction. And they are open on Christmas so just treat people accordingly if they are calling on Christmas. Because it must be bad and no the issue happened 2 days prior! to be continued...

I had a medical emergency which resulted in a crash in Havelock on July 15, 2024. My car was towed by Cherry Point Towing. I spent 3 weeks in the hospital. My wife and I have tried calling several times to arrange when we could pick up my personal property that was left in the car. We both were told they would call back, but that hasn't happened. We have also called and no one answered. I have no idea how to obtain my property or file a complaint.

I had a flat with no spare. Called AAA and they sent one of Cherry Point Towings people. Bret was polite and friendly. There was a problem with AAAs system and he waited with us until things were sorted out.

Just wanted to thank Dustin for the outstanding service when my wife’s car decided to die while driving and ended up in a bad curve. He worked very quickly to safely load on flat bed, with the car unable to stay in neutral. At delivery to house, he had to work around this to unload vehicle and was worried the whole time about messing up our driveway or grass. Very professional with the service, very positive in a stressful situation, and very courteous to us understanding the bad time we were having! Thank you Cherry Point Towing and Dustin’s outstanding customer service!

It's sad that that people take advantage of people especially people who are retired vets with mental issues. Not willing to work with anyone. And they are still listed as tillman landscaping. Omg if they have that business too. I can imagine the prices for that. Crazy because he charged my friend 300.00 to tow his car but when I called and ask how much it would cost to tow from the same spot to them it was 75.00. But yet charged him 300.00. Now that my friend who is a retired vet and has some mental issues and getting help. Service messed him up really bad. And of course his words were not his problem. Let's me know how he really feels about our vets. I would never recommend these people for anyone. I had literally had to make a 3 way call because they wouldn't answer the phone for the owners. And now he wants to sell the car because he has an unreasonable price to pay to get it out. Wonder if they know greed gets you nowhere.

This company was next in rotation when I was in a wreck. Next day I wanted to see the truck. Said he was on his way……made me and my wife wait over an hour. Fast forward several days and GEICO sends email saying another tow company is on their way to get my truck towed to begin being fixed. This email is from 9:59 AM. I called that other company and they said this company is making them wait what seems to be all day too. Unprofessional doesn’t do this place justice. Beware of this place as it seems off

I would give 0 starts if I could. These people are crooks trying to collect as much money as they can by withholding my vehicle. Both me, my husband, and the repair shop have contacted this business multiple times for 5 days asking them to tow my car to the shop to have it repaired. Each time they say they will and don’t do it. I’m having to contact law enforcement and my insurance company to try and fight them and figure out how to get my car back and off their lot. They are also dodging calls from the repair shop. Don’t do business with these people, they are dishonest crooks!

Mr. Cherrypoint Towing. I found this person wandering on 9 Mile Rd. I fed him a pretty good size ? and put Netflix on for him. Cherry Point Towing, cherry point Towing no more fish tank, please. No!! More fish tanks.
