The Preservation Burlington Architectural Salvage store is our way of saving “house parts” from going into the trash and giving them new life. Old doors, windows, trim, window weights, flooring, mantels, door hardware, plumbing fixtures, period furniture, light fixtures... all of these items and so many more can be found at the architectural salvage store!
You can shop during our open days or drop off donations by appointment.

This place has changed significantly. We came to a sale “9 am to 2 pm” and then were told that it was two sales, one just ended 45 minutes ago, so our purchase was 80$ more than expected. And also that membership that we sold you for the discount? We don’t do that anymore. It just means we tell you about sales like the one that ended 45 minutes ago. These doors that we’ve had for 9 months. A year ago some of the folks were offering to drop off stuff we forgot. It’s just.. changed. A volunteer organization still faces financial pressures, and can still be guilty of bait and switch through unclear advertising. Customer service means knowing when to keep good customers happy. When they leave disappointed, they simply won't want to come back. The same goes for your lovely volunteers.
Such a fun place to go and browse , you never know what you'll find here. From old door hardware , old growth flooring to antique light fixtures it seems they always have something cool !
