It was a whimsical night my girlfriend and I had fun but the food trucks could be better they burned her food and on a different note the porta potties were on a weird angle and hard to use

The Twilight Village at Sleepy Hollow was an absolutely enchanting experience — equal parts spooky, artistic, and heartwarming. The entire event beautifully captured the eerie charm of Washington Irving’s timeless tales, immersing visitors in the mysterious world of Sleepy Hollow. From the very start — crossing the bridge and walking past the old mill — it felt like stepping into a storybook. The gardens featuring “poisonous plants” and the delightfully creepy old gardener added a whimsical touch, while the atmospheric lighting and haunting soundscape perfectly set the mood. Every corner of the village had something to discover: small artisan shops selling trinkets, captivating tarot readings, mesmerizing fire-spinners, and performers who truly brought the legend to life. The highlight, of course, was the appearance of the Headless Horseman. The dramatic entry through smoke, the chilling cries for “Ichabod,” and the theatrical tension of the moment were simply unforgettable — thrilling yet family-friendly. This event is a must for families with kids or groups of friends looking for a magical autumn evening. The organizers deserve immense credit for crafting such a well-planned, immersive, and imaginative experience. Truly, Twilight Village at Sleepy Hollow captures the very spirit of Halloween in the Hudson Valley.

Had so much fun here in early October 2025! They had a fortuneteller, fire performers, storytellers, food, vendors, and arts and craft vendors, and the best of all was the headless Horseman show! I think When the horse came out, it was the most beautiful horse I’ve ever seen and the headless Horseman show was amazing! Highly recommend everyone go!

I truly cannot recommend enough! My family of 4 ages 30 to 63 all had a blast at Twilight Village at Philipsburg Manor! It was our favorite part of our entire Sleepy Hollow trip in October! The whole vibe with the lighting everywhere, the band that walks around, the actors that walk around, just sets the mood in the best way! The Headless Horseman scene was AMAZING, our favorite part of our whole trip! Wow do they know how to do up the atmosphere, set the scene, and then DELIVER! CRAZY COOL! There was dancing in the barn which was fun and guided, the fire show was brilliant, there were really cute and fun Halloween themed games as well which we loved! The shops were cute and fun to walk through though I wish there were some Sleepy Hollow specific themed vendors since we were tourists. The tarot readings were free with your ticket which was so cool. We loved the story reading of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow though maybe a different reading in the same spooky realm would be better since we didn't stay for that since we were going to Legend at Sunnyside the next night so didn't want to spoil it so maybe a different Edgar Allan Poe reading or something would be better to not step on Legend's toes since that is offered same time of year. Our only real complaint was that we wish there were at least 2 food truck choices since we weren't super interested in what they had at the one that was there. The cider doughnuts and cider itself were delicious!!! Maybe could have had a spiked version of the cider for extra points but still amazing! The little photo spots and the map of Twilight Village were SO FUN and intricate details! We LOVED the open concept where there isn't really a schedule and you can just wander to whatever peaks your interest! OBSESSED! We're already planning our next trip back next year and a ton of that interest is thanks to Twilight Village! Had an absolute blast, we wandered around hitting everything for probably 3 hours and honestly felt rushed at the end so as not to miss anything! If you really want to hit one specific thing, the actors and workers are helpful but we loved the aspect of just wandering around where you saw light or noise and seeing everything that way. And again, even just sitting still you have actors roaming around and a cool band walking around dressed in appropriate spooky attire! The actors don't bother you unless you WANT to engage with them which is perfect. Seriously 10 out of 10, highlight of our trip and we can't wait to go back!

It was nice, but they need to add something extra to the headless horseman, it was too short and also more activities

Not dog friendly and they were pretty rude about that. Also seems strange you are required to go on a tour and can’t just buy tickets to walk around.
