  My favorite little local market when I can’t bear the thought of hitting Costco or a giant supermarket. The deli has great prepared meals and other foods including chicken soup and fresh mozzarella. The shelves were fully stocked today and the produce department was being tended to restocked as well. I bought a fresh premade chef salad and the price was great and it was super fresh. Kudos to whoever is running the market in the New Rochelle location! And don’t miss the sales too!!!

  Horrible hot food bought chicken today and it was disgusting dried up and taste like rubber the parts you could actually eat this is becoming a last resort zero store for me . I would give this place no stars but in order to post the comment you have to give a star

  I rate this supermarket a negative star, why? Well i live like 2 blocks away from it so I was going every time for the past 3yrs. I know there is nothing call perfect but sorry in that supermarket is not good because a few things. 1- very messy, 2- out dated food, 3- manager was very RUDE ( not the guys in the floor or ladies on the register), 4- the deli part one of the employee told me as I was going to order some chicken cutlets not to because they are about 4 days old and never even kept fresh, 5- some of the pounds cakes, Entenman’s are really old like 5 months over, 6- many of yogurts are like I said so old they have molds on them even some other cakes they were selling, 7- price is ridiculously over charged and so so so many other things. Basically I don’t think you should shop there. I’m very sorry to be a cry baby but it’s not worth the money, products and time. I rather walk or take bus to another supermarket than there. Again sorry for sounding like a cry baby but hey my health and kids is important. Have a great one and GOD BLESS YOU ALL.

  Don't shop here on Thursdays. The prices are posted for the following week and are NOT honored at the register. Overcharged for Limeade, Knorr Sides and Polar seltzer. They're thieves.

  Selection is okay. The prices are questionable and their packaged fruits never look too appetizing. Staff has little to no interaction with customers, you usually won't find anyone unless you're checking out or ordering your deli meats. Everyone always appears to be down/upset, theres no life in this store.

  Mask the taste of there penna a Volka with pepper. It is so strong that you can’t taste the sauce or shrimp. They charge 13.99. The shrimp was like rubber. Never again. Cheaper to make it

  Very expensive, questionable quality. I don't think I'd risk trying their meats or deli items. Choose your produce carefully and make sure the price they ring up matches the advertised price.

  The 4 stars is for the hero sandwiches and deli food they make. The sandwiches are excellent and lots of customers buy sandwiches here. I've always had good experiences buying cheese here. Good selection of fresh baked rolls every morning, consistently good. This place is better for the refrigerated and shelf stable items. Need to still check the canned items for expiration dates. Produce and bread should be examined carefully prior to purchase for mold, which is really unfortunate. If the produce and bread aisle. If things were maintained better, I would be able to shop here exclusively, but have to venture out to shoprite to get reliable items.

  This is my last resort market. The selection is okay. Check expiration dates and your produce before purchasing. Some of the cashiers are not the most courteous especially depending on the race of the customer. I guess its existence is good for the seniors in the area. There are other options in New Rochelle so keep that in mind.

  Deli has a funny smell.!!. Idk what it is, but has always been there.... We ordered sandwiches..Roast Beef&Swiss hero w/Cole slaw...Big, I mean very BIG & FAT Sandwich. Roast Beef was rare, fresh cooked and loaded!!! Swiss & Cole Slaw were on the money, too.!!!. Just writing about making me HON GUR REE.... LOL !!.LoL!!..

  If grocery is what you need then this is your place. It feels a little like one of those supermarkets you see in the movies. The produce just isn't the best but it's edible. The deli guy gives you that look when you walk in. The musak playing on the speakers. The locals greet each other and catch up about nothing. But all in all it you need your essentials you can pick them up here.

  Never buy meats or PRODUCE. YOU MUST INSPECT for expiration dates, mold, etc. Their meat is cheap and terrible. Their produce is old and moldy, literally. Check expiration dates on EVERYTHING! I like this location for canned and packaged items ONLY!

  Great location staff is very Friendly they make it feel like old school home quickly I've even gotten to know many by name Sal,Rita Myko (Deli area), Debbie(Cashier), not sure of the woman's name that puts out the meat but she's very friendly as well plus the products are always fresh and prices are great. Please make sure they are all commended don't know the managers name but well maintained location. Name: Reggie and I thank them all

  If you want to waste time and buy old food go here. Trying to get someone to help you at the deli is a chore to say the least. If they are actually at the counter, they are too busy chatting amongst themselves to serve. If they get around to it, they act like they are doing you a favor and don’t expect them to give you clean cheese. If someone purchased something bloody like roast beef prior to your order you get that on your cheese for free. Everything you buy requires a date check as they sell products that have expired. The worst service is on the weekends when the regular employees are not there. It’s a bunch of young cashiers busy talking about their dates and the people left in charge don’t care. They are busy chatting as well.

  Great for items in small quantities. Staff not particularly friendly or helpful. Seems to be a part of their service. The one in the Bronx has the same level of service. If they didn't have the things I require I would not bother going to Foodtown at all.

  You have to be very alert here! In the last two weeks, products I bought had expired! And not just by a couple of days!! I bought a small Jrs Cheesecake also, and it was all moldy inside! Just be alert!

  Don't know what is going on with your store. But the out of stock is happening a lot. And we are talking about non specialty items. Lot's of mgmt changes, The only reason I still come to your store is because of Rita. Great food! You can always tell when she is not there. Food burnt in the case (a shame) a lot of time out of product, nothing new there! Loose Rita and watch what happens. Your store has been there for years. Grew up with it and the changes. But not looking good!

  Service is terrible, only one person was working behind deli. Manager says we have to wait for 20 minute for other person, who comes for lunch break. For one slice Ziti, I waited 35 minutes. Never go there again.
