Who is managing this deli? What is wrong with this picture? Is this proper customer service? How are deli slices prepared in this manner? Literally by making a few slices and throwing it on top. Looked me in the eye and continued! You never get what you ask for at this deli!
Beautiful, modern grocery store. Huge, with clean bathrooms and plenty of parking available. Wide, spotless aisles with fully stocked shelves. Pharmacy, seafood, bakery and seafood department. Plenty of help and cashiers and self checkouts.
Huge store. Good prices. Clean bathroom
Only issue is i am here on a Saturday. Obviously busy.
4 lines are open plus the self checkout which has 11 people on line
Stop & Shop has a little of everything. Fresh produce, good bargains on everything from meats to fruits and vegetables. Furthermore, if you go during the week, it is a quick entry and exit. I highly recommend Stop & Shop, we go there at least twice a month.
This is my usual stop& shop but today, for some reason, they had no shopping carts available despite having a half empty parking lot. After wandering around the parking lot unsuccessfully trying to find one. I went to ShopRite. I talked to one of the staff at the supermarket and told them that I was leaving because there were no shopping carts available and the person I spoke with didn't seem very concerned.
I recently had the pleasure of being assisted by one of the cashiers at stop and shop, and I felt compelled to share my experience. From the moment I approached the register, it was clear that I was in great hands.
Not only was [Cashier's “Jordan”incredibly friendly, but their knowledge about the products available in the store was impressive. I had a few questions about specific items, and they took the time to provide thorough answers, guiding me through my choices with patience and clarity.
What truly stood out to me was their willingness to help, even when the line began to grow. “Jordan” maintained a calm and positive demeanor, ensuring that everyone was taken care of without feeling rushed. It's rare to encounter someone who embodies such exceptional customer service!
Thanks to “Jordan”, my shopping experience was not only smooth but also enjoyable. It's employees like them who make a difference in the community, and I wanted to express my gratitude for their hard work and dedication.

I would like to know when it became the norm for The cashiers to sit there and watch customers struggle to bag groceries. Are we just trying to make customers miserable at this point? I watched an elderly woman with $175 worth of groceries struggle to get her food into bags, feeling pressured from the line of customers behind her while the able-bodied teenage cashier played on his phone. Not only really poor customer service etiquette, just straight up disrespectful.
Don’t even bother ordering online and waiting in the parking lot for pickup. I waited for over an hour and a half just to find missing items in my bag after I get home. I go back to the store to ask what happened. All the store associates have no idea and can’t give me further direction or assistance on how to resolve this issue. I ended up grabbing all the missing items myself as it was clearly in stock and walking out. Pure worker incompetence and stupidity in that store.
I don't think they deserve one start. I spent 30 minutes on the phone trying to order a 50-count tray of chicken. They never picked up the phone I dialed customer service twice, but they hung up the phone on me. This isn't nice. This is not the way to do business. I am so disappointed. If you guys cannot handle the phone services properly, it is better not to have it.
Shopping for groceries with my child. Normal right I go to produce to get some berries and there were karts in the way i moved one and one seemed locked. So I kindly saw this lady pictured here if she can move it because I wanted to get through asking if it moved it seemed locked. She then responded so nasty why of course it moves it’s on wheels. Still proceeded to ignore me. I told her she didn’t need to speak to me in that manner because I asked her kindly. Then proceeding to discuss loudly still in a nasty matter about the situation with her co worker here. I then interrupted and said well I asked you kindly if I was white maybe she would’ve helped cleared the section so I can pass through. She walked away and I asked for her name from this gentleman who laughed and said of course she has a name it’s on our name tags. Very disgusting it felt very discriminating and racial profiled.
Unbelievably bad experience - around 10pm last night I stopped in and went to the self checkout. Not usually a fan of doing free work for a store, but there was only one line open and one self checkout line, and the latter had a shorter wait time.
The woman in front of me had a single item: a small pack of batteries. She scanned them but it was so light that that scale on the self checkout machine freaked out and thought she was stealing; fine, it happens, the kiosk lights up and an attendant usually comes by and fixes things. Except this time…nothing. We’re stuck and no-one is reacting.
We stand around a few minutes until finally I get annoyed and walk over to the woman at the only other register. I tell her the situation and tell her we’re stuck. She doesn’t react. Instead she starts yelling “Ethan! Ethan!” hoping I guess that the deadbeat night manager would hear. He doesn’t. I ask if there’s a phone or some kind of amplifier she could use. She ignores me. I stay persistent but she just keeps ringing up other customers.
Finally after about 10 minutes Ethan appears and…ignores us too. We are literally standing there waiting and begging for the chance to give the company money and he can’t be bothered. Ok, message received. If you’re so well off that you can make people wait and effectively tell them they don’t matter, I’ll never shop here again.
Not accommodating and made things extremely difficult for the community during Thanksgiving. Some people in management were not truthful and don’t dare take their word because they lied. very disappointing. It is such a shame as we are community members and hoped for better, but alas you are better off going to ShopRite or the Stop and Shop in Mount Vernon if it’s for the sales, they are much more understanding and work with the community. We will not be visiting there anymore.
Great location. Clean and always stocked. Now let's talk aboutbthe deli. Employees are fast efficient and professional however, some of them need a little training on how to properly stack cold cuts after they have been cut.
Always agree experience at stop & shop. I really love the scanner they give you so you can scan your products throughout the store and put them in your cart. Once you are finished you simply go to the self checkout or you can go to any register and they scan your scanner all of your items and coupons appear on the screen you pay and you are out the door. Extremely convenient. They always have what I'm looking for and you can see what's on sale, specials, coupons, all on the app.
Stop & shop is gigantic. It's my mother's favorite place. Parking is fantastic. The bathrooms are clean. There is over 100,000 ft² of things to buy. Who could ask for more. It has many departments to choose from. Check out is quick and easy. You could spend a couple of hours here enjoying just the walk and the displays. If you're smart and use coupons and shop their sales, anyone can save a lot of money. It's a great place to shop so bring the family.
Pros:
The store has a nice layout and is usually pretty in stock. Overall the place is pretty clean and parking is really easy cause there are a ton of spaces. The cashier's and employees at the self checkout area are usually pretty attentive and overall do well under pressure.
Cons:
THE DELI. You would have to order 2 days in advance and even then you can expect to stand at that counter for at least 5-10 min. (yes, regardless of whether you ordered one item or multiple). Seems like they are always down to "one guy" while the rest are "on break" and you'll usually hear others in line just as confused.
If you have a question for one of the workers trust me your better off just trying to figure it out yourself. I've had workers straight up tell me that they don't sell the item I'm looking for or tell me they've never heard of it and then just go back to poorly stocking shelves without another word only to then find the item myself.
All in all it's a decent place to shop. Unless of course you need the deli. Then it's a great way of stepping into the land where TIME RUNS BACKWARDS
I truly loved my shopping experience in this excellent store. I'm so happy that I found it, it puts other supermarkets to shame. The selection here is ridiculously incredible, the store is very clean and well run. I doubt that you will be unable to find anything that you want. The prices are good, the checkout is easy and fast and everything is more than pleasing. I seriously had to calm my self down a bit, I felt like I was in supermarket heaven. Plenty of free parking too. You should definitely go here.
It was nice and clean and I found one of the types of grapes I was looking for(Candy Snaps) OMG they are Delicious!!! Tastes like strawberry candy but even better...
This is an incredible Stop & Shop. It's big, it's clean and it has excellent selections, then you get crammed after you pay at the registers... But, overall it's one of the best Stop & Shop with lower prices than nearby Stop & Shop supermarkets.
Reliable and helpful staff. Products well stocked and strong variety in all. Has nice cheese and cold cuts availabilities, as well as a cool "wing zone".
Holds a Starbucks, pharmacy, bank, flower shop as well.
They had a good deal on some food for some Memorial Day grilling. I was afraid that they'd be sold out when I got there, but I was happy they weren't. Lines were short. It was a good experience.
