Top notch servicemen, my girl and I had a huge problem with our car battery across the street, Ergin went out his way to drive to our building complex and change the battery right there. These guys hit it out of the park - again! I have an aftermarket head unit designed for the overseas market that no one could connect properly. Chris diagnosed the problem to a faulty control module and got my 2010 Mini Cooper S back on the road - with the head unit fully functional. Beside, just checking out all the cool cars in their lot is worth the trip.

I grew up in area but live about 5 states away where I have a VW mechanic that I trust without question. I have been in the area for the last 4 months for a job and needed some work done on my car. I went and “interviewed “ K and Chris and was glad to see Audi’s in lot and they understood VW’s are a little different to work on than most cars. I had them do front brakes as a test job and all seemed good. I then had them replace the water pump housing that had started to leak slightly. I have a tough work schedule but was able to get car in day after thanksgiving for repair. The price was fair and way better than dealer but still more than was in my head. About 4 or 5 weeks later, the same symptoms returned- occasional coolant smell, I would sometimes find coolant on under plate and have to add coolant. I was pretty stressed as I need my car for work and it runs for most of the day and it was a lot of money. They pressure tested system and found the replacement part defective and honored the 12,000/12 month warranty, without any kind of fight! That shows me they have honestly and integrity. They are now my go to mechanics when I’m in NY.
Awesome!!! I recently started a job near Pelham NY, and heard an engine knocking noise with intermittent hesitation on acceleration. I drove around for a while and explained to various mechanic shops the issue I was having and that I lived around 1.5 hours away, but was told repeatedly that they didn't have time for me. Then, at 4:20pm on a busy Wednesday afternoon, I pulled in front of Autobahn Motors and explained my situation. The concerned young man who was rather busy, pulled my car into the bay within five minutes and inspected my car to determine the problem. He then took a good amount of time to conduct a thorough test drive to which he was able to determine the solution and even repair my car right then at a very reasonable price! He also asked other pertinent questions to assess my vehicle's history which has over 90,00 miles as to carefully maintain the longevity of my vehicle and prevent future issues. Having a decent background on cars, I knew his questions and opinions were completely on par. In fact, he also explained how my last mechanic fixed only one part of a two-part brake issue; thus causing inferior performance which could have been mitigated if I knew that valuable piece of information back then. He gave other highly informative pieces of information to keep my car running well in years to come and I even scheduled another visit for a needed transmission flush that I had totally forgotten to address, but lucky that the gentleman reminded me of. For this level of care and respect I will be bringing my car to this shop moving forward-- even if it means a lengthy drive from home. For anyone who is honest and willing to share information to save me money and headaches in the long run surely deserves my business!
My 2014 Tiguan started throwing an Oil Pressure light and Chris had a feeling it was the oil pressure sending unit based on a thorough (30M+) phone screen that he was willing to do with me.
Took the car in a few days later and it was confirmed after testing out the actual pressure and looking at the old unit. Few weeks later the light popped up again and it seems i have started to burn oil and that was Chris's thought again over the phone and confirmed when i checked the level.
They were able to sneak me in for a quick oil service same day due to my engine layout and such. He even reprogrammed my stupid "voice menu" steering wheel button to just mute to avoid me accidentally pressing it when i "bust a UE"
These guys are awesome, honest, and fair. Im sad it took me so long to find them, ill be taking my car there going forward for sure.
This is the best mechanic shop in town, everyone is super professional & they all work very efficiently. My apologies in advance, I'm probably spelling his name wrong, but Kane did a spectacular job on my car. I brought my car to the shop because the brakes were no good, along with other issues & Kane handled it right away. At first, he said my car most likely won't be finished until the next day but he ended up finishing everything in less than 4 hours! I really appreciate the work you've done, my brakes have never been better, thank you!
The best mechanics are the dedicated ones and Autobahn is dedicated in getting your car fixed from top to bottom, ask for Christian. I bought a used Cooper in Jersey (review for that place is the opposite), and it was giving me small complications that was borderline critical, if not for Christian. I thank them for their dedication to their profession.
I was helped by Christian Right away and luckily he caught the error Four Way garage (Port Chester, NY) made. I simply needed the differential bushings replaced on my E46, but after getting it back from 4way my car drove with a crazy shake. Brought it to Christian to find out my bushings were put in incorrectly and it even shifted my differential to the left, which in turn shot my U-joint in my driveshaft. I got pictures of everything, got my money back from that shady garage, and Autobahn fixed me up IN A DAY. Found my new mechanic for sure.
Such talented workers! Really know what they're doing! Usually I have to go back because a place never fixed something the first time , but autobahn always gets it right the first time around and prices are great. From how i was treated , I can tell they really care for their customers. !!!
My husband and I own a 2003 BMW 325xi. We were pleased with the value of the service and we found Chris to be a helpful person. I was happy that Autobahn had Saturday hours as both my husband and I work full time and have difficulty getting to a repair shop during the week. Chris helpfully reserved time Saturday morning for our repairs. We needed a NY state inspection and there was some required work to pass inspection.
I must honestly say one of the best experience i have had with a mechanic. Bought my 2011 5 series bmw two months ago and after a month started having issues that was seriously affecting my driving experience and peace of mind. There was a constant and aggressive vibration in the car when i was at a stand still and when the car was idle. When making right or left turns i would hear crackling noises when i acceletate out of the turns and my engine light was on because of a Evap shut off valve malfunction. The car felt terrible when driving. I took my car to two auto repair shops before i went to AutoBahn and both places struggle to diagnose or even give a good explanation as to what was wrong with the car. Chris at AutoBahn was immeadiately able to tell me what he thought was the problem and went through a thorough, indepth explanation as to why i was having certain issues with the car. Bought my car in on monday and on wednesday i was able to go pick it up, all issues gone. Service was very fast and efficient. My car is running so smoothly now. I am here because i felt compelled to write this review, just wouldnt feel right if did not after the experience i had with these guys. The car now drives and feels like luxury, as it is suppose to. I have been dealing with repair shops for years, and I must say, this is by far one of the better shops. After I had inquired as to pricing with numerous shops, Autobahn Motors, was by far the most affordable. I had an early morning appointment, was attended too in a very timely fashion, and back on the road. Chris and the staff are most knowledgeable, and polite, as well as, very professional. They kept me informed every step of the way, and never attempted to push extra services. For additional issues, I was informed, given what I believe to be an honest opinion, as to the time frame of possible necessity of repair, and a cost analysis of said repairs. The technician that worked on my vehicle, (sorry i dont remember your name) actually repaired some other minor issues at no additional cost. There are many choices for repair shops, however, no matter how many opinions you get, I would highly recommend that you to get an opinion from Autobahn Motors before you decide.

I came across with this auto repair shop recently. I am very glad about Chris`s communication skills and the quality of maintenance has been performed. I have not met the owner Alban yet but you can definitely tell that he built a great team here. Chris and the other skilled mechanic have performed 150k maintenance for my 13 years old Volvo. Since then, I do not have any more leak. Chris is a great listener, he informs you before starting the maintenance and he is an understanding honest mechanic. The maintenance price was reasonable. This will be my routine car shop from now on. I can definitely recommend this shop to any European car owners and I will also let my surroundings about this auto shop. Keep up the good honest work. This shop was recommended to me by my cousin, so I came all the way from Longisland to get my car fixed here. The owner Alban is a true gentleman and honest guy. Within minutes he diagnosed my car and knew exactly what was wrong. His expertise and knowledge of European cars definitely showed through while he and his employees worked on my car . After I picked it Up it was a total 360 from how the car was when I had brought it in that morning. I came from another shop that had supposedly "fixed" the issues I was having but really just ripped me off and never solved the main issue. Alban was patient and thoroughly explained in detail was was wrong and how he was going to go about it. Best prices & best service I've received in years. Many thanks to him !
