I’ve been going to Hudson View Automotive for years now, and I couldn’t be happier! They’re always friendly, efficient, and do excellent work. I trust them completely with my car and highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable and honest service!

My daughter brought her Audi in for flashing warnings on her dashboard Hudson View called and said she needed new tires Fine Then they said there was a problem with sound system Fine 3 weeks later her car was ready. I paid $1,500 by credit card in the phone as I live a distance away She picked up her car Warning lights on dashboard still on- they couldn’t find the computer Said car was safe to drive and she did Got home and found Failed Inspection paper on front seat Would you ever recommend this garage?

Total time from calling to ask if they could do a tire patch, to "done, have a nice day" <20 minutes. Can't ask for more than that!

Hudson View was recommended by a friend, and we have been glad we found them. Adam and his staff are terrific. They have consistently done excellent work on all of our cars. They explain what needs to be done, what can wait, and fix it quickly for a very reasonable cost.

Work done in timely fashion. I had them do stuff like oil changes, NY State inspection, etc. They spotted the fact that I had a broken part for sensing the headlight alignment of all things and they got me an estimate for the part and labor which was much less than the dealer’s price. I will use them again.

They're nice until they mess something up, then it's on you.  Had a front brake botch job - within 15 miles, the brakes were burning and smoking like crazy.  After a few unreturned phone calls, they said I needed new calipers.  The brakes still burn after the new calipers were installed. Had an "alignment" done too and one of the measurements, barely within spec, was so far out of the range of the other measurements.  When I tried to ask Adam about it, he berated me, repeatedly saying, "Clearly you know nothing about alignments."  I'd try to get a word out and he'd cut me off with the same refrain, his angry tone escalating each time.  It's like, dude, I'm trying to ask if this is something to worry about, especially since the front tires they previously sold me didn't last very long.  Berating and belittling customers is just bad for business. I feel bad for Alicia who has to deal with Adam's demeaning attitude all day long.

No matter what make or model you have, they can fix it. If you have a car with mechanical issues, I recommend you go to this place. The work they do is excellent, and they are friendly and helpful.

Adam is a top notch mechanic.. my cars are always repaired correctly the 1st time… Warm and friendly family operation..

Have brought my car here a few times and they’ve done great work. I really appreciate the Adams demeanor. He has such patience and a willingness to be consultative, explain the work being done, components being used, and reasons behind their choices. It means a lot to me since i have a surface level understanding at best of what goes on under the hood of car

Adam and his staff at Hudson view are simply the best. They are awesome mechanics, but more importantly, they are trustworthy people that run their business with respect and honesty.

I can't praise these guys high enough. If I could I would give them 6 stars. Everyone is really friendly. Alisha will return your calls; no need to chase them. Adam knows his stuff and is a straight shooter. They never tried to upsell me. Brought the car in today for emissions and maintenance and even though I could only bring it in by 11, because I had meetings. I asked them to have it ready by 4:30pm and lo and behold, 4:15 I get the call, that the car is ready. They even fixed the driver's door which was giving an audible crack every time it opened. I didn't mention that to them, but they noticed and fixed it and didn't even charge me for it. That is the kind of attention to detail that you want as a customer. Stellar work.

Adam and team were great. My issue was quickly resolved (tire pressure sensor needed to be replaced) - and when I asked about another potential issue I'd noticed, Adam let me know that what I was hearing was not a safety issue -- and that if it bothered me, they could certainly fix it, but it wasn't necessary. I was impressed with his honesty and willingness to explain the issue and answer my questions. I came here on the recommendation of others, and Hudson View certainly lived up to my expectations!

I was lucky to find Hudson View Automotive, Adam not only repaired my car and was able to save me money. He took me step by step in explaining what needed to be fixed he took his time in solving my problems. His staff was very polite and made me feel comfortable. I would highly recommend his work to everyone.

Brought my car in for a scan because my engine light came on. They scanned my car and gave me some hypotheticals of some possible issues with my car, but said I would need to book an appointment for a full diagnostic of the problem. I called the location the weekend prior to my appointment to explain that other issues began to arise in the car and asked if my appointment would accommodate for the diagnostic as well as repair because I didn’t feel safe driving anymore... she told me yes, as long as I dropped the car off for the day at 930. The day of my appointment, as I was relinquishing my keys I informed them that I needed my car to be repaired the same day if possible and if it was possible with the new issues. He said, we have to look at the car and call because we can’t do anything without your authorization for the work. At noon I called and asked with they were able to quote me on the repairs... the owner wasn’t available. I called again 2 hours later and the woman said, “You said you only needed an O2 sensor but you need more work”... my reply, “Your shop scanned my car and told me it could be the O2 sensor, I made an appointment for a diagnostic and repair, per our conversation”. At 3pm, the owner called me and said the were only able to repair the o2 sensor because that was what I scheduled an appointment for, but I continue to have issues I can book another appointment but my car was safe to drive”. The next day while driving on the highway every light in my dashboard came on and my car start surging in power... I came back to the shop and the owner said, (after looking under the hood) “you have some wiring issues or a problem with the Alternator, but I can’t do anything until Monday.” I will not return my car to this repair shop because if I leave a shop and still feel unsafe driving my car, this is an issue... I’m not a mechanic. I trust mechanics to diagnose my car or tell me the can’t... I feel like I could have died driving my car a day after getting it out the repair shop. *EDIT* In Response to the owner... I told you that the light (codes) were popping on and off in my dashboard while driving... by the time I drove to the corner of your shop my battery light came on (I showed you the new battery in the car)... by the afternoon the aforementioned issues... which proves you (your shop) didn't complete a full diagnostic on my car... because if my car was driven to assess the issues of the lights coming on and off, the issues would have been discovered. But you didn't have time... and I understand that... but I would have taken my car somewhere else.

Adam is one of the best around..been going there for 5 years. honest and does great work.

I am new to the area and was recommended to use Hudson View by someone I trust but who may not be a careful consumer. Another recommendation came from a customer with persistent repair problems on their Prius. He suspects nothing about a persistent repair on a notoriously reliable car. Neither would I, but...my experience has left me feeling "nicked". Very nice place and no complaints about the quality of parts. I bought a new battery and had routine maintenance on separate visits. Today I found that the tires were expensive. I paid $500 a few years ago and was satisfied. I requested another set and was informed that they were discontinued. Adam recommended a $600 set. I balked at the price increase and was reassured that the cost included everything associated with installation. When I picked up the car, my $600 set of tires cost $700 because of alignment. It is hard to imagine installation without alignment. I brought it up and was assured that alignment is essential, and did not argue. I did not bargain except to mention that last time, tires cost $500 and this time $600. Maybe a few years and possibly better tires, but the extra lift to $700 smarts a bit. It made me recall that we had my wife's oil change and got upgraded to more expensive synthetic oil. Much more expensive.

Croton is so lucky to have such a honest and professional repair shop. I have an older Porsche 928. You can purchase them pretty cheap but they are VERY expensive to maintain. After we purchased it, we brought it to the area Porsche "expert" in Elmsford (brags about working on Seinfeld's Porsches). We had concerns with rough shifting and loss of power and just wanted it checked out. After the "Jerry" expert in Elmsford serviced it, we were presented with a $2,200 bill. When we drove off, the car had the same problems as the original issues were not addressed. Finally, after family recommendations, we brought it to Adam to have it checked out again. Glad we did! We just picked it up tonight and now its a totally different car! It runs and shifts the way the factory intended. Thanks Adam for being honest, fair and above all good at what you do. I have been getting my cars repaired by Adam for years. Whether the work is complex or simple, it gets done right! He fairly charges and gets the job done on time!

On Thursday, 10/10/13, on my way to a doctor's appointment 20 miles away the warning sign that one or more of my tires was low on air came on my dashboard. As this had happened the night before and the terrific guy at my regular garage had pumped air into and told me to keep an eye on it, I proceeded again to the garage had the nearly-flat problem tire confirmed as having a nail. After pumping more air into it, the folks at my garage told me they could not look at the tire or fix it until Monday, 10/14/13, at the earliest! And, as the Sears Automotive Center, where I purchased the tire, was too far to risk driving -- even though the tire was under warranty -- and I did not want to spend my day waiting hours for service, nor did I want to switch out the tire for my spare unnecessarily. Then I recalled that my daughter's boyfriend recently recommended Hudson View Automotive Services to her. I called and left a voicemail message, which was returned promptly by Adam, the proprietor. After cautioning me about possibly negating my warranty (at that point I didn't care), he said to come right over. Twenty minutes and $20 later, the nail had been removed, the tire had been plugged and I was on my way! Local businesses are all about serving the customer courteously, promptly and reassuringly. Adam and his Hudson View Automotive Services staff obviously get that, big time! I'm so glad I found them! And, oh yes, as I was getting into my car -- which was turned around and pointed the right way to exit easily -- a mechanic waved cheerfully at me! The whole experience -- which could have ruined my day and elevated my blood pressure -- put a huge smile on my face and made me feel appreciated and appreciative. You can be sure I'll be back the next time my car needs servicing! What a treasure this place is!
