In the 9.5 years I've been a Greenburgh resident, the sanitation department has been prompt, workers have been friendly, and they make it very easy to schedule bulk pick up. I've never had a problem with the sanitation department missing a pick up day, or leaving garbage behind. Great job!
This Sanitation dept is a hot mess. I live on Winging Road N. too. It seems they come when they feel like. They do not follow the schedule. I've gone many times without pick up. With no pickup Monday due to holiday weekend, they have the nerve to miss trash today and recycling yesterday. Hot Mess
These guys have the schedule online for Winding Rd. N but the problem is that they never match what schedule says. We are very very dissapointed with them because our garbage never gets picked up what is on schedule. We really dont know what to do anymore. Hopefully someone reads those comments and decides to help us in this matter. If you look in Ardsley side their garbage gets picked on schedule.
I’m very dissatisfied with the sanitation dept ,, we are ten days without garbage pick up I called hundred times and they still don’t give me explanations, I asked yesterday to speak with the supervisor and he said he would send someone yesterday still waiting !!
The GREENBURGH sanitation department is exemplary. The streets are passable and the sidewalks in front of the stores are cleaned. What a relief to know that they care about the people of hartsdale and other towns that they handle . The difference between when I lived in the bronx and here is like night and day.
