Went there for state inspection (after seeing online people recommending places that aren't full mechanic shops). Absolutely zero attempt to upsell, no "oh your xyz needs to be fixed". They just did the inspection which was what we paid for.

I've been going to Pal-Mac Service for a long time. I had the owner at Pal-Mac Service give me a quote on some needed service for my truck after getting quotes at 2 different garages in Palmyra. The 2 places in Palmyra quoted the work I requested at $592 and $720 (plus tax), and Pal-Mac quoted $465 with tax. Unless you enjoy overpaying by 33% or more, you'd be crazy to go elsewhere. The owner is polite and doesn't overinflate prices. There are not many places like this left anywhere. Thanks to Tom and his crew!! 👍
Great shop, got my NYS inspection done. They even put up my new registration sticker up without being asked. Appreciate it, definitely will be back with any work I need done.
Shop checked the car for overheating issues. The technician checked it and said it was good to go without any repair. Just added more coolant. Will go back for future maintenance or repair.
absolutely amazing customer service. Any woman who needs work done- come here! Honest, surprisingly very low rates, efficient, thorough and clean. I was very impressed at the level of communication they provided, their patience with my many questions and then…. the additional information they provided to help with understanding. We bring both our vehicles here ona regular basis. You can't beat the prices or the service. It's hard to find honest mechanics these days but Tom is definitely one of the few out there not trying to take advantage.
Hello everyone my truck went in for repair for a crankshaft positioning sensor it came back running very rough and could barely make it out of the parking lot it was fine before it went into there and there was gas in the oil do not take any vehicles of yours there
The owner Ordered me a new wheel since mine had a crack and offered to put my donut on for me. Super nice guy and was fair and honest with pricing. Would highly recommend
Best Mechanic in Wayne County NYS. They have taken great care of my family's vehicles for years. Service is one bonus of this shop but in my book their honesty about what your vehicles problem and needs are tops all of that!
They are busy but the owner was able to squeeze me in for an emergency brake repair. Pricing was decent. And lower then what the dealership would have charged me.
Excellent shop, owner is great and quick to help. They do a great job finding the problems and letting you know what you need to fix, what you can take your time on and offering you options. Can’t speak highly enough of their excellent work here.
Awesome, Very Knowledgeable Mechanics and great personality. I was following my son there to drop off his car to be serviced and noticed my rear passenger side tire was completely flat. Because he didn't have a bay open or tire he couldn't repair my tire. He was kind enough to put 40lb of air in the tire and I drove to Penn Yan safely and got it repaired. Thanks for Helping us out.
This was the first time I’ve had maintenance done on my Tacoma at Pal-Mac Auto. I’ve had maintenance done on my other vehicle before at Pal-Mac, and was pleased with service! So, when I needed new shocks, and struts removed and replaced on my Tacoma, Pal-Mac was my first choice! To say the least a great job was accomplished Great job on the struts/shocks Tommy! Tommy and his crew are excellent mechanics, and do the right thing, that is, honesty, great advice, and prompt attention to detail! I’m so pleased with their expertise, I’m scheduling three more jobs to be done with Tommy and his crew! Great place, highly recommend Pal-Mac Auto!

A number of mechanics gave me the run around and provided outlandish quotes. Tom at PalMac Service Center was awesome! He got me in quick, finished the job quickly and he was honest. I already told my coworkers about him and I don’t plan on going anywhere else.
My truck was near the end of the 3rd party 6 mo warranty the used car dealership offered and I wanted a number of specific issues looked at before it expired. I heard Tom had a good reputation so I brought it to him. He took the time to deal with the warranty company (not all mechanics will bother) and saved me several hundred dollars as a result. Tom will get my repeat business.
Tom is a great mechanic & a nice guy. Seems to be able to fix just about any automotive problem and at reasonable/fair price. Highly recommend Pal-Mac Service Center.

Incompetent , Greedy and Rude ! .It took this IDIOT 3 times to fix my car and even then he couldnt get it 100%right . He even tried to charge me $100.00 for a $20.00 part .Would never ever recommend to anyone .Ohh ,let me also ad .This guy LIES like a rug.Is this really the best response that you can come up with ???My 2 year old could be more creative ! I have my Receipt and it has your garage name on it .Not a customer of yours ..................RIGHT .I stand by this REVIEW !.If you want to be SCAMMED ,then go ahead and bring your cars to this shop .
