LOVE this place! It's part of our ANNUAL Girl's Wine Day, for years now, and we always end on a great note coming here. The wines are fabulous, the service is amazing and the ambience/views, even better! It is definitely a perfect way to end our day! We look forward to coming here again, and again.

Really lovely staff here. They let you keep the glass when you are done! The vibes and views are also on point at the winery

I love Quartz Rock. My sister and I discovered it on Instagram and we keep coming back. Tucked away in this family owned vineyard it's quiet with beautiful views. The wine is some of the best in the Hudson valley having a variety of reds, whites, dry and sweet. Their tastings are amazing and give you a good pour for your money. They don't always have a food truck but you can buy snacks from them and they also allow you to bring your own food as well. Come to Quartz Rock for cozy vibes, beautiful views, and excellent wine. Diana and Mary our bartenders for today were so friendly and helpful you wont want to miss this find!

This was my first visit to Quartz Rock Vineyard, and I came because of my friend’s positive past experiences. She even took the time to call ahead and clarify all the details about the fire pits so that our group could have an enjoyable visit. However, our experience on Saturday was deeply disappointing and, unfortunately, tainted by racist treatment. Before our visit, my friend called the vineyard after seeing that private fire pits could be reserved online for $50. She was told the private pits were unavailable but that the communal one was open. When she asked if s’mores kits were available for purchase, she was informed they didn’t have any at the time. Wanting to still support the business, she asked if it would be okay to bring her own s’mores ingredients. The staff confirmed that would be fine and mentioned they had roasting sticks available, which she appreciated. Despite her calling ahead and leaving a voicemail earlier in the week, she never received a callback. She called again before we arrived on Saturday just to confirm everything—wanting to make sure the visit went smoothly. Unfortunately, what we encountered once we arrived was unacceptable. Instead of being welcomed as guests, our group was treated unfairly and made to feel uncomfortable in ways that no customer should ever experience. The tone, the dismissiveness, and the lack of basic courtesy made it clear that this went beyond poor customer service—it reflected bias. What was meant to be a relaxing and enjoyable afternoon turned into a painful and disheartening experience. I truly hope the management takes this feedback seriously, invests in diversity and sensitivity training for their staff, and reflects on how their actions affect paying customers who simply want to enjoy what should be a welcoming environment for everyone.

I visited Quartz Rock Vineyard this past Saturday, October 25th, with a group of friends. This wasn’t my first visit — I came here before COVID and had an amazing experience around the fire pit, which inspired me to return annually. I returned in 2021 under the new management and wanted to continue supporting the business. Before this most recent visit, I called the vineyard after seeing that private fire pits could be reserved online for $50. I wanted to confirm the difference between the private and communal fire pit options since reservation fee was non-refundable. When I called, I was told the private pits were not available but the communal one was. I then asked did they offer s’mores items to purchase and was told that they did not have any at the time. Because I still wanted to support the business, I specifically asked if it would be okay to purchase the items outside and bring it onto the premises. The staff said yes and confirmed they had roasting sticks available, which I appreciated. I never received a call back from the establishment after leaving a voicemail earlier that week, which is why I called again on Saturday before arriving — not only to confirm details, but to make sure that we were aligned with the company’s standards and expectations. When we arrived, the staff recognized my call, confirmed everything was okay, and kindly provided the sticks. We were enjoying the communal fire pit when an employee asked if we planned to purchase wine. I explained that we were only there for their s’mores service which had been approved in advance. A few minutes later, the owner, Jackie, approached us abruptly from her car and said she “heard we refused to purchase wine,” comparing our visit to “using a restaurant’s things without paying.” It was humiliating and disappointing to be portrayed as though we were trying to freeload or take advantage of the establishment, especially after I had called ahead and followed every step to make sure we did things properly. What made it worse was that my friends and I always intended to pay for the fire pit experience and even for the s’mores items. We just chose not to purchase wine because several people in my group do not drink alcohol. When one of my friends asked about food, we were told there wasn’t any available. Yet we were still treated as though we were doing something wrong. Later, I was told this was a “miscommunication,” but I was very clear and thorough on my end any confusion seemed to be between the owner and her staff. At that point, I said that I saw I was being purposely misunderstood, and my group and I decided to leave because we felt so uncomfortable. But even after leaving, I felt unsettled knowing that I had invited my friends who had driven over an hour for their first visit expecting a wonderful experience. I went back to speak privately with Jackie and the staff member I had spoken to earlier to reiterate what was said, how things happened, and the steps I had taken to handle everything correctly. During that conversation, the employee was kind, apologetic, and even agreed that we were not in the wrong at all which I appreciated. However, I expressed how unnecessary and humiliating it was to be corrected publicly in front of other customers instead of being pulled aside privately. Although Jackie eventually apologized, it felt dismissive and didn’t address the public embarrassment or how uncomfortable the situation became. I truly wanted to continue supporting this vineyard, but the way everything was handled left my group and me feeling unwelcome and deepl

Had a wonderful time here on Mother’s Day. The wine is delicious and the scenery is beautiful. Relaxing atmosphere and the live music was very enjoyable. The children’s “juice box flight” that comes with a snack and coloring book is such a great idea, and we especially loved that it is furry friend friendly!

We love the Quartz Vineyard since we discovered it last year. It used to be our favorite one but we are little disappointed that you cannot buy wine by the bottle any more. It's only for members. Such a bummer.

The vibes here are immaculate! The live music by Glassy was wonderful. The wait staff was very attentive. There was a unique selection of cider and particularly a very delicious one that we bought a whole bottle of.

Cab franc was our favorite. The dry premium menu wasn’t dry like a brut champagne, but it was good.

We went here for the first time last week. This is a nice little place with great views. The staff was helpful and knowledgeable about the wines and flavors. They were very accommodating and tried to understand our taste and helped us make decisions. They do not have food besides cheese and crackers. They do allow you to order food and have it delivered. Overall a good experience and I would recommend it.

Incredible experience. The staff is great very attentive to our needs and made awesome recommendations. The view is great, especially when the weather is nice out. And of course, the wine it’s some of the best in New York State.

Came in for a wine and cider tasting with my husband. I wish I remembered the name of the lovely woman who assisted us, but she was great! She was super knowledgeable about the wines and ciders and gave us really great explanations on everything we tasted. Other than the service everything we tasted was very good. We ended up bringing home 3 bottles and that was hard to bring the choice down from 8. If you are a port or Meade fan I definitely recommend the ice cider!

Had a wonderful and relaxing visit yesterday. Loved the tasting process. We were given complimentary glasses and asked to sit at one of the picnic tables overlooking the valley (gorgeous view btw). Our friendly and knowledgeable server brought over bottles, one at a time, and poured samples right at the table. This gave us plenty of time to taste and savor before the next bottle was brought over. Bring a picnic and check this place out, you won't regret it!

There are beautiful views from the picnic tables at this winery. I had the dry and semi-dry tasting, and the waitress took her time describing each wine included in the experience. We even got to keep our glasses at the end! It’s an adorable spot. Great live music today too!

Extremely nice and knowledgeable staff, willing to take the time to walk you through their menu and allow tasting without rushing you. Great views and love the live music. We will be back!

Great wine and cider tastings. Friendly staff that explains and genuinely seems to enjoy the interactions, and will recommend based on your taste. Complimentary wine glasses to take home is a nice touch as well!

Ok, I want to be very fair about this review. i’m giving this winery five stars because the wine was excellent. I just came over from another winery where I thought the wine was terrible, so this was really a pick me up. The location on the top of the hill looking down at the valley is beautiful. The staff was super friendly and extremely nice. I enjoyed this place a whole lot. With that said it’s not super fancy, and if you’re looking for a swanky winery experience this is not the place. But if you just want a cozy experience with nice people and delicious wine I would say you are going to enjoy this place!

My husband and I were just there on Labor Day. Just perfect under the tent, a light rain started later no worries. Singing guitar player inside was great. The view,oh the view was amazing out over the valley while sitting by the apple orchard. We did the hard cider tasting flight. Fantastic! Our server Taryn was fun, friendly and so knowledgeable! Us newbies felt so welcome and comfortable. Took a couple of bottles home and plan to come back!!

Today was my first time visiting a winery and I enjoyed myself. It has an intimate vibe which I liked a lot. The view is absolutely beautiful. Parking wasn’t an issue so that’s always a plus. We sat under a tent at picnic tables while one of the employees played live music. Our server Taren(hopefully I spelled her name right) was amazing. She absolutely made us all feel welcomed and explained the wine menu and gave good recommendations. We even met the owner Jacqui who was super sweet and her son who was absolutely adorable. He asked to take our order it was so cute. I look forward to visiting again.

The view is stunning view only for that its a must arrive location. I love deep and heavy wines, at Glorie farm Winery they are young and to my taste a bit flat. The service is very nice and courteous. Worth to come.

Just spent an enjoyable afternoon at Glorie sipping wine and trying their spirits on Saturday. Staff was knowledgeable and friendly. The wines are excellent. The spirits must be sampled. I tried a maple bourbon that was smooth, well rounded and an amazing treat. I bought two bottles! I also sampled the gin. It too was smooth, with a very pleasant array of botanicals that included juniper and a combination of almost flowery flavors. The juniper and traditional English/Dutch flavor shown through but with the extra aromas. I thought it far surpassed Bombay Sapphire which uses flowery botanicals to the extreme. Bravo to Glorie. I recommend this spot for anyone's wine tasting trip.
