Took my Honda here for a state inspection two weeks ago. They fit me in and said everything was fine but now the brakes are making a terrible noise. They should have inspected the brakes during the inspection... so I guess if you care more about passing than safety go here
Things just aren't the same anymore. Told me that I needed front brake pads on my truck. I took it to a reputable mechanic, he said that they were still 50%, he always did an acceptable job for me, I don't mind putting money in a vehicle if it needs it, but if it isn't broken, don't fix it!
Excellent place. Amazing service. Zia bro is a very rare and trustworthy mechanic. If you ever need a real dependable mechanic who do not try to upcharge you, look no further go to Ellenville Autoworks. After moving to this area I had a notion that I would never find another trustworthy mechanic like my previous one. Zia bro always gives a fair price and do not keep you waiting to long for your vehicle to be fixed.
Ok!!! So...I'm glad this review came to me. Sometimes places will come to me where I haven't been to before ( so I don't review ). Or sometimes I don't review if I've had a normal experience. I usually try to review if it's over the top amazingly good or bad. This guy will NOT *#$@ you. He is HONEST, DOESN'T INFLATE PRICES,and if I ever need work done again...I'll be going right to him.
Absolutely disgusting man! Lies about damage that he caused. If I could give him zero stars I would. I really hope no one goes to him. Should’ve reported him along time ago!!!

I was driving downhill close to home in Ellenville when my brakes failed. By some miracle at the bottom of the hill was Ellenville Autoworks, where I had never gone before. The owner inspected my car and discovered the left front caliper was not working. He took it apart and showed me the brake pad, which was all crumbly and looked like a tar field. It was shocking to realize and see. He repaired it all perfectly. I always feel like a number in auto repair shops. The owner here was personable and gracious. Ellenville Autoworks will be my go-to place for my car from now on.
He broke my headlight then refused to fix it and then I went to go get a new tire put on a rim no instillation he took the tire off the rim but wasn’t able to put the new one on and then charged me for it.
Very honest guy, went a few times , always had a very good experience. I felt the charges were very reasonable. I will be going back for all of my car needs.
If I could rate higher I would the gentlemen was quick and easy with the inspection. No hassle didn't push stuff I didn't need. Excellent will be going back to this guy for future work.
Only been a few times but each time I feel like they treat me like a person. They do not overcharge or say more is wrong with my car to get me to pay out. Which is always a blessing. I have been ripped off a lot by places and been told more has been needed to be done to my car than what I know. I don't know a lot about cars but enough.
Very disappointed with this business! Brought my vehicle in for an exhaust system replacement and it was late coming back and they charged me more than originally agreed upon. Top that off with they cracked my radiator and then denied it. My radiator was in perfect condition when we brought our vehicle in no cracks, or leaking and within 5 minutes of leaving the shop my car was overheated and leaking a huge puddle of coolant which it had never done previous to bring it in there. When we called and complained they denied breaking the radiator and refused to fix the problem, buy a new radiator or give any type of refund. I DO NOT recommend the this business to anyone.
Super great mechanic! He’s worked on both of our cars (older models, lots of maintenance) several times now. Always ready when promised. His prices are fair. What prompted this review though is that today I accidentally paid him $100 extra. He called immediately and let me know. What a stand up guy!
This is a small auto repair shop. The owner/mechanic is a very nice fellow. I've used him for oil changes mostly, but I would trust him with more.
The only reason I can't give this business five stars is that sometimes he's too busy to take anymore work. I guess that's a sign that he's good.
