We were staying in the area when our car started making grinding noises. Fortunately, we were 4 minutes away from Richie's. Wow. He looked at our car, diagnosed it as worn rear brake pads and rotars, told us to come back in an hour. We got food, came back and our car was fixed! I feel so lucky to have found Richie's in our time of unexpected need. Everyone was so kind and it was just a great experience. And the cost was absolutely reasonable. Ellenville is so lucky to have Richie's Auto Repair!

Richie is awesome. Went there with my Alfa making an awful noise 100s of miles from home. Thought it was the brakes or steering rack, so Richie could have told me it was something big and I would have believed him. Nope. He said it was nothing but the dust shield on one of the front brakes, fixed it in less than five minutes and didn’t charge me a dime. Good, honest mechanics are hard to find. So I’m really glad I found Richie.

I’ve been going to Richie for a couple of years now and he is overall the best mechanic in the area. Extremely fair on prices will make things work for you one way oR the other Richie is my man I recommend him to anybody One love Richie.

I don't know where rave reviews are coming from. I stopped by 5 times. 4 times they were closed. The one time that they were open, no mechanics were there. I left my contact information with the woman and explained what service I needed to have done. I also left 3 phone numbers. I'm still waiting for a call back after 2 weeks. Going on 3 weeks now.

I had a blow out and needed a new tire mounted to my rim. This was honestly the best experience I've ever had going to a mechanic the price was extremely fair and I can't see myself going anywhere else moving forward. Thank you very much Richie and crew.

I’ve been here twice now and received excellent service both times. The first visit was for a flat tire. They plugged it quickly and The price was shockingly low. The second visit was for tire inflation and inspection, super fast service. Highly appreciate this place. 👍🏼

I brought in my 06 Crv the car has other issues, but this one was more paramount. The car started to overheat. It was last minute and his lot looked full. I called to see if rich could get the work done and he said sure come on in. He took care of the problem promptly and gave me suggestions for other issues. He didn't push me and gave me advice. The price for the repairs were very reasonable and you can tell this mechanic cares for his customers. I had my car back the same day it was the thermostat and two coolant sensors. I wish I could give more stars excellent service and had the car back quickly. Thank you rich and his team for everything. I was very impressed and will be bringing my vehicle back for all further repairs.

I went to Richie’s because it was the only place that was open on Sunday near where I was. I called and was informed to go to a nearby gas station and put some oil in my car before heading to him. I was stressed because my car had no oil in it and i had just gotten an oil change a week and a half ago. Richie and his mechanic were very polite, knowledgeable and thorough when looking at my car. They immediately found my oil filter was not placed on properly and ran order test to be sure that was the problem. They also found that the old oil that was placed on my car was never removed and also showed me the dark black muddy looking oil they removed from the car. For obvious reasons i was upset but was put at ease by Richie’s due to their expertise. I would recommend anyone go here who wants honest and excellent service. I will definitely be returning.

I was on vacation and my car had some starter issues. Richie and his crew are extremely nice, they do great work and get it done fast. Honestly, best mechanic I’ve ever been to. If you want a fair price and a mechanic that’s going to give it to you straight go here.

Richie and his guys were absolutely amazing. I called to get my tires rotated. They took me right in. When they finished I said OK can I pay you. The owner Richie said “no we don’t charge for that”. You don’t come across people like that anymore. I couldn’t believe it. I highly recommend them not only are they fast and efficient. They’re kind and they do a great job. Great place. Amazing service. Kind and intelligent people. And was ready to help in an emergency. Put his whole family aside to go buy another hose for our car. And so I came here to talk about my experience and it seems I'm not the only one. More than 70 others also had a great experience and I recommend this place. There's only one 1 star review for "not answering calls or Google text chat" and that's what makes these small businesses better than others. They don't have time to deal with Google or all this tech. They're busy working on the cars. Amazing job.

Fantastic service! Got a flat on July 3rd evening, called on July 4 and they picked up! They showed up to where my car was parked since it was not drivable, took tire off the car and to their shop. Patched it, came back, and reinstalled it. Would definitely do business with again, thank you gentlemen for the assist!

We were on vacation in the area and had a mechanical problem. It was the only car repair center open on Memorial Day. We were worried about having to wait a few days for the repair, as we had to go home the next day. The owner gave us great service. He checked our car quickly, understood our need to be serve before de next day and repaired the car immediately with no extra charge for the emergency repair. Great service! Thank you!

By far the best experience I've ever had at a mechanic. First of all, Richie drove me home (with his son in the backseat) and picked me up when the work was done. Secondly, I hadn't changed the oil for over two years in my old car, and the light was on when I brought it in. They ended up having to do a second oil change because it was so bad. I tried to pay for the second oil change, but he wouldn't let me. I'll def be going more regularly, I avoided it before because I have a dread of getting work done on my car (especially as a woman, ladies know what I mean) but it's really nice to have found a trustworthy shop!!

Excellent service, excellent pricing. Richie and his employees are polite and get the work done in a timely manor. Iv had work done on my car several times there- from oil changes, tires, brakes and a few other maintenance jobs- 5 star service each time. I will continue to go here in the future.

I called 45 min before they closed because my car was making a weird noice and I was on my way home. He said come on in no problem. They sorted my problem out quick & didn’t even charge me for a full hour. Really thankful for Rich. Gonna be coming back to this place

Amazing service! Richie helped me out with a flat tire. It was towards the end of the day but Richie saw it through. The charges were actually much lower than I thought! The mechanics and assistants were so friendly and helpful. You can't go wrong with Richie's tires if you need any help with your car..

Richie's shop took great care of my Land Cruiser. They removed the old tint, swapped out my tires, and diagnosed a fuel pump issue. Fantastic work, great prices, and honest, straight forward advice. Great people and glad to have them in Ellenville.

Richie to the rescue! We had a flat tire and were stranded on Saturday coming up from New York City. We had AAA put a donut on - made our way to Walmart where we hoped to get some help at their big auto department - but were turned away. We at least were able to buy a tire there but what good was that if we couldn’t get it out on the car? Fortunately my friend Colleen told us to call Richie and immediately he was able to help us. We drove to his auto shop with his excellent directions and he not only fixed our new tire but checked all the rest! He was amazing - professional, knowledgeable and helpful. Just what someone who is in trouble on the road needs. And the bill was so reasonable. Many times you can get scalped when you are in this situation but he was honest and fair. Richie to the Rescue if you ever need a great mechanic! He’s great!
