Rarely open and usually rude as can be.

More often than not they’re not open during the hours posted on the door and website.

Open hours are a suggestion... came at 2pm and it was closed. Not the first time we tried, either, but I'm only finally leaving feedback today after hoping the previous incident was a fluke. After reading other reviews, it seems like this place is managed very haphazardly and our experience wasn't unique.

Awesome, very friendly staff! Took many more bags than the 3 limit that other reviews suggest.

Will NOT be returning here. I brought in 4 contractor bags and about 10 (13 gal) bags of cans and somehow there were only 1200 units total. One guy counted 5 (13 gal) bags for me and got 415 units while the other guy counted 4 contractor bags plus like 5 (13 gal) bags and he only got 800 units. These bags were STUFFED. They also never counted my glass bottles. I got a whopping $62 back. Which i find highly unlikely. Someone needs to teach them how to count. Plus they weren't very friendly. I'll go to tops from now on. At least I know I won't get ripped off.

Place is closed more than open. Owners clearly do not care. May as well just close up rather than falsely posting hrs and then drive a half hr for them to be closed with nothing posted on their website or fb page. What a joke these ppl are. No clue how to run a business.

A redemption business that doesn't accept glass bottles?? The person was rude. They wanted me to dump the contents of 3 garbage bags full of returns and sort through them myself since they "heard" a glass bottle when I set them down. Never again! I walked out and went elsewhere.

Arrived at this facility 35 minutes before close, the lady stated she was closing after the person she was helping. When we stated the hours on the door say 5 she said "yeah well we are closing early." Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone with the unprofessionalism and scam of shorting you on money. If 0 stars was possible that's what I'd rate this place.

Extremely rude, angry, unprofessional woman working there. Absolutely cheated me. I have been going to this redemption center for years, always using the same bag, always get over $20. With her, she hands me $7 and then got belligerent when I had a puzzled look on my face. Told me to do the math. Will not go back till she is gone. After posting this review, I took the same bag full of cans to a redemption center in Cortland; $22

I never thought I’d feel compelled to review a redemption center but wow. Always extremely unwelcoming, change their hours with no notice, act like you’re the idiot for not knowing, and they won’t take back anything local, even if it’s stamped with the NY deposit. The one in Trumansburg is amazing.

I wouldn't even give this place one star. I have never ever experienced such rudness and harshness. The woman who was working this morning is filled with such darkness and anger. There is no need to treat people like you treated me this morning as I did nothing to you but waited patiently for you to return like you asked. Just be a nice person. I will never set foot in that establishment again.

Employees are rude and like to make excuses why they can't help you. Was told I couldn't be help because they were closing in twenty minutes.

Hours posted are a lie. On two different occasions I went well within the posted hours and no one was there. The third time I arrived 40 minutes before close. There was one other car there and when I walked in, the worker stated, "we're closed." After I told him the sign says open and it was only 3:20, he didn't respond. Never going back.

I miss the days when it was the two lovely ladies who ran it with the two cats. I was in there last week and I was confronted by a woman that had the personality and looks of a cocktail waitress on an oil rig and she certainly was running that place like it was the navy.

I was just there . The 1 person very rude also pretty sure she screwed on my returns . I had 15 empty case of water and 8 12pks of hint and soda cans. Only got 20 dollars. What a scam.

I've been going here for a while, nice employees. It's much easier too than having to deal with a machine that gets full quickly or don't work, or doesn't count something. I recommend coming here if you're around the Tompkins area. Although I'm putting this place at 3 stars because they weren't open when they were supposed to be, they should had an announcement on like Facebook when they aren't open. Had a few other people stop by after I got there, could of had plenty of customers.

They have a 3 bag per person and no glass sign on their door. Which I could probably deal with except they are never there. This morning around 11am we drove over and they had a note posted "opening at 12. No help!!!" We came back at 2 the note was gone and the light was still off. I do not recommend.

I stopped by and saw an employee outside who I was taking to, and found out they were waiting for the owner to stop by. The things I heard about the way this business is running, I AM disappointed. With that said, I will be researching the company once I can locate the name of the owner and company.

Hours are not reliable at all and no one answers the door ( when locked) or the phone (voicemail not set up or off the hook). Not a place I would recommend at all!!!! Waisted my gas and time to give you my business. Leave a note if you need to lock the door and have some consideration to your loyal customers!!

It's 3:41 and the neon open lights are lit but the door is locked. So glad I wasted my time and gas coming here.
