Over charged tire replacement and they broke my value stem which cost another $100 to replace. They also recommended front ball joints to be replace which is not the case. It is the control arms that are bad. Not recommended and will never go back for service.
Very reasonable price in the area. It's much cheaper than big dealerships as well. I was happy with their service for the first time and I would come again.
Honest and reliable small shop. The owner, Mark Bell even took the time to show me what was wrong with my brake calipers and brake hoses. I have been to both locations, Varna and Dryden. Reasonable prices and great service. Definitely coming back again.
Great, friendly service. Had a flat tire on the way to work and decided to go to Bell’s because they were closest. They had no problem repairing the tire and offered to do my inspection as well. Very friendly and helpful. Saved my day!
Very very nice staff and knowledgeable. I trust them completely with my car. I'm a woman and like a lot of mechanics do, Bells does NOT make me feel inferior when speaking to me. Highly recommend!!

Bells always is up front and honest with what it will cost to get my car fixed. They are knowledgeable and can pretty much fix anything wrong with my cars. The service is friendly and they will be my mechanics for a long as I live in Dryden NY
I scheduled an alignment on last Tuesday for Friday of the following week. They called me at 7:30am on the day of my appointment asking to reschedule to the next Thursday. Extremely unprofessional and rude. A simple thing. I found somewhere in cortland that has me now scheduled for Monday. Will not be returning.
I ended up broken down on the side of the road an hour from home and was able to make it to bells auto. They were so helpful in fixing my car, got me right in and even worked with me to get it done as fast and as cheap as possible.
brought my car to Bell's after two other mechanics tried, but failed to find the problem. Bell's took the project on, knowing full well that it was a very difficult problem to diagnose and repair. They worked very hard and found the problem that had stumped others. Further, my repair bill was far less than I had anticipated. I have complete confidence in them and would recommend them highly to others. Thank you to Bell's!!
I had a difficult to find problem with my '03 Toyota Celica. Bell's Auto stayed on the problem, even with repeated visits, nailed it, and didn't gouge me in the process! Thank you Mark & staff for your integrity, and great service, qualities that are very rare, in our world today, but greatly appreciated!

I have been using Bell's Auto in either their Varna location or their Dryden location since I was an undergraduate at Cornell, at least 15 years and maybe 16 or 17. They have NEVER done anything shady and have always been reasonably priced and have had excellent service. It's nice to have someone you can trust with your car. We have been through three or four cars with them. Recently, because I live further away now, I took my car to the dealership that is only 5 minutes from my house because there was a rattle beneath and it was a little loud. The dealership said lots of bad things about Bell's and that the whole exhaust needed to be replaced to the tune of about $900. I took it to Bell's to get a second opinion and they fixed it immediately. It was only a bad pipe and now it's quiet as can be and was only $278 to have it fixed. Needless to say, I will no longer go to the dealership, even if it's closer! I'm sticking with Bells for everything!
