The guys here are total rip off I brought my Mitsubishi to get a price for some work they quoted me $600 to do some catalic work to be able to clear the check engine light they charged me $1,250 with out letting me know the price change and the check engine light never cleared these guys are bad business and don't know how they are still in service never will I recommend these backyard mechanics to any one
don’t recommend this place to NOBODY.. last time my friend had to go back 3 times bc of how much a dirt job they did.. THEN after she left one of the guys who was in there 50s left an inappropriate note in there car (mind you she’s 16 and he knew that) then today sep 21st we simply went to go ask a question and they started laughing and cursed my boyfriend out for no reason. Again I don’t recommend this place at all.

If i didnt have to babysit adults 70 plus a week hell would do it myself so.... 3 days still mot done ohhhhhh yes" your spark plug wire is broken hmm maybe harvard thats why i paid 335.52 for a tune up country! We came to switch the snow tires on our Corolla for the summer. Simple job, or so I thought! After paying $100, we are currently on the brink of death on the highway. The tires are unbalanced and causing the car to drift while steering and vibrate violently above 60 mph. If I make it home alive I will never come back or recommend this awful shop!!!
I had a new starter put in and had my car inspected the following week. Prices were reasonable, they were very accommodating to when I could bring my car in and treated me in a friendly, professional manner. All you could ask for in a service center and I am completely satisfied with the service given.
My girlfriend took her car there because of a coolant leak so the car was over heating so we got it towed there as soon as they opened. We spoke to the shop a day before and when we got there to confirm what was going to be fixed and how much. They suggested we needed an alternator and brake line & said they would charged us $600 for everything all together. We drove away for 5 minutes and the car started over heating again and then they said we can take the car back but that they are gonna charge us. So basically we went there to get the coolant fixed and they ended up fixing only what they wanted to fix and then they wanted to pretend they didn’t know what were talking about. Shady shop I’m not going back there ever again.
Went there for car overheating and coolant leak. Tried having me get numerous repairs I didn’t ask for , They said everything could be fixed for 600 came to pick the car up , Got 10 mins down the road car was still overheating ,SMOKING and coolant revisor wasn’t fixed. They didn’t even fix what they said they would fixed something completely different. Sherman & Shane lied and said I never told them what excatly to fix. They are scammers just in it for the money don’t go here. 0/10 high DONT RECOMMEND. Staff very disrespectful.
After they done a oil change, and I didn’t realize after two months that my motor cover was gone. I went back to them and asked for the cover which In turn they said the didn’t have (probably they sold it or threw it away) and weren’t responsible for that. Unbelievable. it’s not like they used to be anymore, won’t be going back anymore.
I think they are absolutely wonderful. They're extremely fast, they get the job done without trying to sell you everything else under the book, and they're also very cool.
DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLE HERE!! I dropped my truck off for a gas tank and fuel pump on a Thursday and was told it would be ready Monday or Tuesday. I called for updates on Monday and got the runaround for the next few days. Every time we drove by it wasn’t being worked on. Finally, the following Monday I went to pick it up to take it to a different garage because they said it was throwing all kinds of codes and they didn’t know what was wrong with it. The mechanic said it could be driven. Now, I’m sitting on the side of the rode, broken down, 5 minutes from Sherman’s shop. He also tried to say I had to pay my bill in cash so I couldn’t dispute the almost $1,300 bill. SHADY business right there.
Needed an inspection called around and would need to make an appointment. Called Sherman's and was able to have it done within the hour. A week after getting my wife's car inspection done mines was up and the same scenario transpired. Would definitely recommend.
I'm always treated like family here. We've been going to Sherman's for decades. Most repairs are done the same day.. This alone sets them apart. Despite the high volume, you never feel rushed.... I've been recommending them for as long as I've used them and no one has ever been disappointed. And they stand by their work.
I just came from Sherman's in lochsheldrake for an inspection. For a brand new car.. And he actually back into my car with another customers vehicle. So two hours later I'm still at liberty collision center. Trying replace my entire front end. And he still charged me for inspection! Stay away!
I took my car there for brake job ,,I was told that I needed rotors, so I gave the go ahead,,I went to pick up my car and was charged over $400,come to find out they only put pads , never did they even touched my rotors as u can see in the pics, they are nothing but scammers and I'm looking to report them to Better Business Bureau...
Scott Sherman is a great guy and his Mechanics do great work and make it quick! Last winter my exhaust pipe broke right in half and was dragging on the ground and that thing sounded like an airplane! Took it in to them and they looked at it and welded a pipe right in between, super quick, cheap, and simple! It worked great, he was very reasonable on the price and had it done and out in about 20 minutes.
They have always taken good care of my vehicles. I have gotten vehicle inspections, oil changes, bearings replaced and electrical problems fixed by them. They will look at all noises and vibrations.
Brought my Acura to get a repair and regular maintenance done. Great job and excellent prices for excellent work. I usually only get my car serviced by dealership but here the prices are way lower, fast excellent service and prices highly recommend
An honest repair place is almost an oxymoron. However I have been going to Sherman's for 5 years and they are more than fair. They are dependable and most of all they are honest to a fault.. They get great reviews from everybody and honestly if there were 10 stars here I'd still wanna give them more. It's the only place in the area that you can trust and know that when you leave your car it will be fixed and you won't be billed for work not done .
