This place was recommended by my daughter because she always wants the best for me. Eddie's place is very professionally run. They do a quick, thorough and professional job. The receptionist is very professional as well. They are honest and get you in and out as quickly as possible. The waiting room is clean . I always go for my inspection there, it's so quick, in and out. I go outside for a cigarette and they are pulling it back out before im done. Good honest shop with friendly mechanics and sweet receptionist. Very refreshing.
Called them a day prior to my appointment, the were able to squeeze me in the next day and had my car finished before noon.

I went here today at the suggestion of a gentleman I was buying a used Jeep from. He said he's been using the shop for years and was very happy with the service. Though they put the truck up on a lift and volunteered to test drive it, they did as a free service for their regular customer. The mechanic even hesitated when I thrust a tip in his hand. If I lived closer (I'm in Staten Island), I would definitely patronize this shop. Job well done!

I have been going to A-1 Action Auto for over 10 years & I cannot say enough great things about this place. A-1 is an honest & trustworthy place that I highly recommend to everyone I know. Not only have I been going here personally but have brought in my company as well. Ed and his guys are great. I found it so hard to trust auto mechanics and always felt like I was being taken advantage of, but when I came here with a problem, Ed found it right away on the computer he hooked up to my car and explained my options. It turned out to be a minor thing, but he fixed it immediately and I've been going to him ever since. Very fair prices and always does the job right away!
