Just a great shopping experience, walked into Riverhead Autozone, greeted by store associate Konrad, told him I needed a battery for my wife's car, after displaying my choice of batteries, he assures he can install it for me, would only take a minute, and it did, within 20 minutes i was on my way, excellent service at Autozone

Absolutely horrible service at your Riverhead store. Self checkout does not work. Was ignored by two cashiers. Literally standing at the checkout counter for almost 10 minutes. I am never coming here again.

There is a rude woman working at this location. I just had the worst customer service experience I ever received in any autozone in over 30 years of shopping in Autozone. Cashiers are usually nice and helpful this woman clearly didn't want to help and acted like I was not supposed to even be at the store. All I needed is a windshield wiper, it wasn't even that complicated of a purchase.

Went to return two rear brake calipers for my vehicle for core refund. The associate that greeted me at the register was overly skeptical, disrespectful, and rude. I displayed, by my error, the wrong card for the refund, which turned into a spiel of the associate behind the register processing my core refund to state VERBATIM "well now you have created a problem." Excuse me? What? The calipers I was then returning were removed from my possession, and placed away, behind the register. These calipers were still MY PROPERTY. I demanded that it does not matter which card I have, I've already displayed everything else, and that I want the core. I expressed that my bank changed debit cards recently, and was very honest and forthcoming through the whole experience. Not only do I come here personally, but my business also works with AutoZone. Not anymore though. There is a zero tolerance for this type of behavior, especially in customer service. My patience and kindness was treated with negligence and overzealousy. Needless to say, after stating regardless of debit card I want the refund for the core and it needs to happen, and I got my refund. How am I going to come here for a core refund and then be told that I'm making a problem, when I've been nothing but honest kind and forthcoming? I even called ahead, they knew I was coming. Looks like Advance Auto parts is going to become my new best friend or I'm just going to go back to Napa, but AutoZone is as far as I'm concerned a dub and I'm not coming here professionally or personally again. Regardless of location. If this is how you're going to treat me, I could only imagine how somebody a little less reserved would be treated. Disgusting behavior. And I mean it. The complete antithesis of customer service. Do better.

If I could go negative stars I would and it's not even at one of there employees it's every single one of them that I dealt with which is about 7 of them, from making me pay $40 bucks for a Uber to come get a part that isn't there when they confirmed it was before I called Uber then I bought my 3 caliper in Uber 2 weeks cus I spend great money there not good and they lie to me on when it would be delivered after paying my mechanic all day to sit and wait for part it NEVER CAME!!! Then when I called 10 mins before they closed to see where my part was I told them I'll he there in 5 mind for my refund I decided not to go last night and went first thing this morning and after being told I can come back past night for refund by a manager this mornings manager tells me he can't refund with out the part being there!!!! You clearly don't need any schooling to obtain this job they should fire the whole crew and start from scratch worse experience ever and this is how they treat me after spending 1000 bucks in a week!!!!!!

I had a 5 star customer experience at AutoZone thanks to an amazing attendant named Skky. She went above and beyond to help me pick out the right headlight for my car — and even helped me change it! (With a fresh new french tip manicure might I add) I have little knowledge.. okay, NO knowledge about cars, but Skky was incredibly patient, kind, and supportive throughout the whole process. Her customer-centered approach made me feel comfortable and confident. AutoZone’s customer service is top-notch, and Skky is truly an asset to the team. Thank you, Skky and the rest of the team over in Riverhead. I sure I will be back soon for help with something else that is out of my wheel house limited Auto intellect.

9 times out of 10 they'll have what I need. On this one occasion they didn't have either of the products I needed in store or available to be shipped to my home. So I was annoyed and overreacted. Their still my go to store for auto parts.

Apparently you don’t hire enough or efficient staff to get one Assistant Manager to check a battery. I had to wait an hour for another worker to get back from lunch because Dion couldn’t step outside to check my battery-at the same time keep an eye on the minor behind the register. Who, by the way, is a very knowledgeable, polite young lady (Skky)who originally helped me check my diagnostics.

HORRIBLE costumer service and inappropriate. I visited this store for an oil filter. Stood in front of the register to get help, a female associated sat on her phone pretty much ignored me until she was done texting. I asked for help and she didnt want to do it or couldnt do it. She asked another male associated if he could help me in a inappropriate("can you do her, im going to get this order) and he said yes, they both look at each other and laugh, it made me very uncomfortable. Her wording was totally inappropriate, got the oil filter and i ran out of there as fast as possible. I will never come back to this place.

Cheter. Fraud. Charged two oil filters. Refuse to refund of the return 9.99. Refunded no money for return. Lady manager and sail person both did that fraud.

Our car battery died on Thanksgiving morning while we were driving out to visit our family. We got a jump start from a Good Samaritan, and he recommended we go to Autozone. Deon the Manager was such a blessing. He got us a battery and installed it within a few minutes, and we were on our way. So thankful that they were open on Thanksgiving and so appreciative of their willingness to help us. Thank you!!!

Bad service needed to return a broken new charger port s type and manager would not do an even exchange cause I lost recipient not recommend this location I can't believe how horrible this place is even though I purchased another one bad customer service

Myia was so quick to help me save money on oil and a filter. Not only that, she MADE sure that she had all the right stuff for my car model. I appreciate her enthusiasm and kindness. She’s def a keeper and an asset!

There should be a zero star. Employee there is rude. Simple thing as an exchange and to explain something to a customer can't be done. And the audacity to walk away from a customer and saying (good luck) to another employee. Next time your talking about a customer take it to the back because the mask doesn't block sound !

Awesome place where the manager came out and helped me change out a battery for my mother in law. I came from out of town and the young man really made me feel at peace and helped alot. If I am ever in the area again and need help, forsure I'll be back. I'll tell my friends and family. It was nice that they were opened on the memorial holiday as well.

I went tonight to buy a battery for my bike, it needs a new one, when i got to the front at the counter, theres was two guys laughing, i told one of the guys that i needed a new battery so he came to me, grab my battery and said "the batteries.. they are over there." I asked him to help me find the the right one to my surprise his answer got me so mad and upset!!! His response was "USE YOUR BRAIN." I'm just so angry and upset of the unprofessional behavior from that employee his coworker was laughing behind the counter, is this the way a customer should get treated i dont think so, my brother got a battery from this autozone 3 weeks ago and the guy that helped us that day wow he explained to my brother all he needed etc thats the service i was expecting today but unfortunately that wasn't the case, i hope this employee gets fired cuz if he was rude to me God knows how many customers get treated like that too!!!

We just came from this store and their associate Darell M. was amazing. Came outside in this cold and on his knees worked on our car, helped us find the right part and then assisted us in fixing the problem. 5 stars is not enough for his service. Thank you !

I gave it 4 despite what follows. The rest of the staff were very helpful. The female manager I think could use a lesson in customer service. She was brusque and rude in answering my questions and rude to the other employees. Her responses were basically go do it yourself. I have bought things at AutoZone forever and never been treated like get out you're annoying. My bulbs are now changed and I don't have to worry about a ticket for my brake light being out.

I called up to find if they have a part down an aisle and I was told to come down and look. So I have to drive 30 minutes out of my way to hope it there. No one was willing to look. Lazy employees!!! Drove all the way out. Wast of my time. Thanks!!!

When I walked into the store and noticed ample employees putting away stock...After about 5 minutes... One employee decided to ask me what I wanted. He seemed to be in a hurry to leave... He said he could not find what I was looking for... So I decided to pickup some extra items while I was in the store... When I was ready to check out there was only one person waiting on customers... The others didn't even think twice about trying to help him out... I was third in line with 7 more customers waiting... After 15 minutes had passed and the line was growing... Another employee walked over to help... but she came to help him with the same customer... She was rude to the others and loud with her responses toward them... I thought I will certainly not be coming back to this store.

Freindly ,helpful, attentive employees . You notice as soon as you walk in that they like each other and value the customer. Store is fully stocked and most all car care products you could ever want are right at your fingertips

Absolutely phenomenal outstanding customer service the gentleman even walk me over to the items I was looking to purchase. I feel like I was Back 40 years ago in a mom-and-pop type shop as customers were appreciated for their business. Most stores act like you're doing them a favor, and employees just think you are a pain in the blank blank blank.

Always enjoy going to AutoZone. Employees are always very helpful. This time I went to have a battery checked before I purchased a new. One thing though, I wished the employee told me it needed to be fully charged before testing and before I lugged into the store. They will charge it, but I couldn't leave it, so I have to go back at a later date.

Going here is like visiting the funny farm. You get roped into going because of their online presence, then upon entering the door, it feels up is down. Then I realize there is a Napa around the corner, and a parts guy who probably knows the part # off the top of his head.

This was absolutely the worst retail experience of my life. Not one employee knew what they were doing and when I asked to speak to the manager on duty I already was. The store is a mess and there are tripping hazards everywhere. Looking around while I waited twenty minutes to get the part pulled off the shelf I noticed the electrical panels on the back wall were buried behind merchandise and carts. That is such a safety hazard!! Did I mention that I waited for twelve minutes for someone to just answer the phone.
