Place is ran by a bunch of punk kids who don’t care about there jobs and rather stand and talk for 10 mins instead of ringing me up. Took 15mins to return loaner tool!! No one was in the store too!
This 5 stars is for Tyler one of the staff members . He was absolutely fantastic at helping me with my battery sale and installation. He is a tremendous asset to auto zone . The actual manager on staff was pretty horrible. .. they should swith them up immediately!
The Mastic store only had one of what I needed BUT looked the part up and found that the Shirley store had one that I was able to pick up. Thank you Mastic Auto Zone!
There are several people there that really don't know about cars also, when I went, there were probably 6 people there. It's working and totally ignored me, even though I stood in front of them, waiting for them to say can I help you? I had to go to a different counter, and there was one guy actually working the other people didn't seem to be doing anything if you know what you want, and don't have to ask any questions. I guess it's okay.
I wish they would hire people who know cars. It is a car place

It’s a shame one person can bring a whole store down I was in there yesterday I left because of the line and don’t get me wrong the bald grey shirt and the little guy in the red shirt was moving fast what turned me off was the other big guy in the grey shirt just watching then telling them to answer the phone while he doing nothing just terrible hope something changes soon
That big guy with the glasses in the grey shirt good with customers but the way he talks to the staff is terrible he needs management training or sensitivity classes I would never let my son work under someone like that
Nicole O. is completely useless. Went in to get a check engine light checked and instead of taking me, being the next customer, she continued to call everyone else after me "because there was a line". Well, you're not the only one working, now are you? What about the other 2 or 3 other people working? She walks around totally clueless as if she doesn't even like her job. Extremely terrible customer service. Check engine light could've turned into a sale. Now, you just cost Auto Zone a sale. Good job Nicole.
There was 1 person at the counter and 3 on the other end. Who said that was corporate accounts? There was 5 people online when I finally got served. I was only getting a battery tied down and the young man at the counter told me that he can't handle electrical because he's under 18. That has nothing to do with electrical idiots.
Terrible customer service by Justin and another big guy that drives a gray truck. My part was suppose to reach by 10am, I went there at 1pm and I waited over 15 minutes for my part to get checked in. Justin actually walk away from the register and to help another customer because I was upset about my order. They insisted on giving names and helping me out. Justin said his shift didnt start until 12 so he doesnt have to help me. Very terrible customer service.

Very good they were even open on thanksgiving it helped me out a lot cause I put a radiator in my car that day they knew everything I was talking about very efficient. Highly recommend the workers you have there all stars.

One of the managers named justin went out of his way to assist me today and was very professional and knowledgable as well as well as being kind in general. Wanted to say thanks. Higjly recommend this autozone above the others becuase the other staff as well is very enthusiastic and tend to help where they can. 5 stars
Tried to return some items and guy messed it up, higher up couldn't figure it out and tried to tell me the rest of my money would go into my bank account but it never did. I was there for an hour. Place is crazy never saw one so chaotic.
In this store they are really amazing, good quality customer service and Rachel resolve my problem very quick and easy when I had to return a battery with no hesitation... I am super happy with the Rachel service
I had a dead battery and Ronald was such a great help! He was knowledgeable and even installed the battery put new wipers on and saved me some money at register! Thank you again Ronald
Autozone employee Jaylin and a Women that works in the front are not educated on the store they work in. I have been taking my warranty breaks back everytime for 1 year in patchogue. I attended the mastic store because I was in the area and the women plus her co worker Jaylin refused to exchange my old breaks for new ones. I then spoke with a Dail who continued to put me on hold as I asked for the number to the higher up management
I'm not sure why your employee Charles.S has an attitude problem. He was clearly not in the mood to do the bare minimum at work but he sure went above and beyond to show how rude he can be. I'll make my future purchases elsewhere this way he doesn't have to work that hard.
Was calling to ask about an exhaust part for my jeep. Phone rang for about a full minute before a lady on the other line answered saying "HOLD!" as if i deserved to get yelled at for calling a parts store at only 3 in the afternoon. Anyway, I then proceeded to HOLD for 20 mins exactly before hanging up and trying again, to which an assumingly nice young man answered the phone and told me to hold as they were busy. I'm not sure how busy it gets over there but i can only assume it looks like the NY stock exchange at its peak. Anyway, still not too happy about the first woman who answered the phone. Also wasnt even able to find my part.
They actually don't know anything they just punch in for work and that's it they give u the parts but know exactly what u need and double check they just give you what they find on the computer they don't know what there giving you, so those who are new or dosnt know exactly what ur looking for they are no help go somewhere else
I was in this store on Friday 09/30/2022 between 2:30PM-3:30PM to purchase a battery. When I entered the store, I said good morning to the cashier/employee (an African American Lady. PS: before you think anything, I am BLACK, and that is probably the reason I veered toward her) on the 1st counter on the right. Not only she did not acknowledge me when I came in, but ignored me and greetings twice. When I said hello looking at her, she RUDELY replied quote" I HEARD YOU, CAN'T YOU SEE I AM TALKING TO MY MANGER" and quote. I was speechless.... my reaction was wow. I looked at the manager, he said NOTHING, I asked him can you get someone else to help me??? Another Employee named LISA, observed the seen from fare and probably saw that i was about to get upset, she came from her station, nicely stepped in , diffused the situation and said sir how can help you? I told her what was the problem, she offered to test the battery-the alternator and told me the battery was good and suggested I see a Mecanic. LISA was very helpful, but I am sad to say that I will not e going back nor recommending that store to anyone. The next day, i needed parts for my wife's car, I was happy to see an Advantage Auto Part across and that's where i went.
All the girl’s there except the one were on their phone’s as the store phone kept ringing and ringing they still wouldn’t answer. They were basically letting the one girl do almost all of the work. Definitely horrible customer service. Your business will go down if you keep hiring all of these girl’s that can’t put their phone’s down to help customers that are possibly going to put money in your register! And this isn’t the first time I’ve seen this with this specific store location
Hansley, Scott, & Jay are amazing and set the standard for excellent customer service. They went above and beyond to help me with my car battery. I highly recommend this location. Very helpful, greeted promptly, got the part I asked for speedily. I needed one more item, a piece of hi pressure hose, she went in back cut it to size and rang it up. I returned later as one of the parts I'd purchased was not needed, she handled the credit and debited my new purchase and I left with a store credit balance. This employee was a complete professional, my visit went as well as it could possibly have. There was one item which I purchased later at a hardware store that they did not have, a hacksaw tool for working in tight spaces, and which I think they should carry.
