I had trouble with my VW in the Lidl lot. I got a jump and went to Best Price. He repaired my oil leak and I also had my front and rear brakes replaced. JR was courteous and honest. The work was done well and in a timely manner. I know where I will return to now for my auto repairs. Thank you JzR.

BEWARE! Nick at the front desk will try to upsell you everytime! Will tell you that you need parts you don’t need! And tell you he can’t allow you to drive out of there without fixing it! Tried to hold my car for ransom basically! When told that I don’t want to get it fixed there then the parts he said I needed I magically didn’t need anymore. And told me I can get away will only fixing a less expensive part instead. I told him, I don’t want anything other than the brake pads I originally went in for! And won’t be paying for anything other than that.
I left afterwards and the car is fine! I didn’t need anything he said I needed! My car was perfectly safe! He will try to force you to pay for unnecessary parts and labor!!!!

JR is an absolute scam artist. I went there for an oil change and an inspection to be done JR tried to tell me I needed front brakes and rotors on my car which were just done two weeks prior by my dad who was a mechanic. As a female when I tried to pull him up on it he started stuttering stating that they weren’t. I called my dad on the spot on speaker and JR changed his story talking about well you need 2 new back tires. He then proceeded to tell me he can replace my tires Meanwhile, my tires were not even four months old. After this, I told him just complete my oil change don’t worry about the inspection. I then took my car 10 minutes down the road to another shop for the inspection and it passed inspection with no issues. About a week later, I noticed my car was leaking oil. I go back to him and stated that my car was leaking oil he tried to tell me it was from a front valve cover leak. I told him my car has no leaks. My dad did both my front and rear valve cover gaskets. He had a mechanic pull my car in I stayed right there with my car and watched as he removed my oil filter which had a double gasket. Which means that whichever one of his mechanics did my oil change left the old gasket on the oil filter and didn’t even bother to check and make sure it was removed before putting the new one on. He then proceeded to try to tell me that’s not what I seen happen. His mechanic was shaking his head behind him! whatever you do never take your car to this shop!!!!!! They are absolutely the worst.

I've gone here for years. I always call ahead to make sure they can accomodate me since I have to wait for my car, and they usually can same-day. They don't try to upsell, but let me know their recommendations and prices up front. I've mostly done oil changes, but also had inspection, rotor and break pad replacement and air filter replacement. I recommend this shop!

I was looking for a place that could quickly do an inspection for me (day of) and stumbled across this place after a quick Google search. It had good ratings and was nearby so I figured I would try it out. Junior got my car right in and had the inspection done very quickly (within 20 minutes). He told me there was a couple minor things to change on my car (like putting a new air filter in) but that it still passed inspection. Didn’t pressure me at all to fix anything that day. I asked if I wanted to bring it back at a later date to fix the stuff he mentioned and he said I could bring it by any day and they could get me right in. I will definitely be returning. Nice to find an honest mechanic that can get my car serviced in a timely manner!
I recently visited Best Price Auto Repair for my New York State vehicle inspection, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the service. From the moment I walked in, the staff was friendly and professional, making the entire experience stress-free. The inspection was completed quickly and thoroughly, and they explained everything clearly, so I knew exactly what to expect.
They took the time to address a couple of minor issues with my car not to do with the inspection, which I appreciated, but there was no pressure to get unnecessary repairs done. these guys did amazing today, last minute on a SATURDAY. They’re open til 6 which is a godsend, bc we realized an issue around 2pm. we were in a huge pinch and they went above and beyond. they were only a hour or two and let us wait there. our brakes were so bad and there’s snow tonight. they got the pads on & we weren’t out of a car for a day or more like most. 6
