I was looking for parts for a leer truck cap and had no luck getting any response from other dealers closer to home. Auto solutions was very helpful and very responsive from start to finish.

I originally had a review here but removed it after I was offered a refund. As they have not issued the refund, I am reposting it and adding more detail to help future customers. I originally brought my van in May for a complete brake job: 4 pairs of pads, 4 rotors, and one caliper. I had purchased the pads myself (Carquest Premium Gold Brake Pads, Ceramic). The work was completed, and all seemed well. In August we noticed some severe squeaking and brought it back in. The tech initially said that only the front was done, and not the rear, and that is the reason for the squeaking. After informing him that all were done, he then changed the reason to them being defective and needing to be replaced. It was stated that all 4 were replaced with new pads. We noticed a return of the squeaking and brought it to Monroe in October for a brake inspection. Upon their inspection, it was stated that the brakes were fine but squeaking because they were such cheap pads. In other words, Auto Solutions replaced my “defective” premium pads with cheaper pads and sent me on my way. Also, in August, I brought the van in to address a cylinder misfire. They replaced all spark plugs and one spark plug coil. The price that they gave after the job was quite high. This is where Mike offered the refund. I was in text communication back and forth, and he said he was checking with the right department. After that, I never heard back from them and never received the refund.

My car wouldn't start and battery was only 2 yrs old. They came to my house to jump it and the next day it wouldn't start so they tow it to their shop and check it out plus gave me a new battery, then the next day came and got me to get my car. They were so good to me. I recommend them to everyone. I've never been treated so well, people usually use or lie to me, They went out of their way for me! Thank you, can't thank you all enough, plus girl in office was so sweet. I'll Bring my car back there for repairs

Went to pick up my car one night... Told them I would be coming a very specific time and asked if they could bring my car to the front... Well I arrived, they didn't bring my car to the front. I had to search for someone to cash me out etc. Well I get to my car and the battery is dead. So now I have to pretend like I work there and find a jumper box to start my own car FOR THEM. And I drove my car to the front then to find someone again to ring me out. What should have been a 5 minute transaction turned into almost an hour and they did not care how much time they took of mine. Extremely disrespectful for someone to do this after they work on your car... And no discount for the all the trouble! Like what!

I've been taking vehicles to Auto Solutions for 15 years, probably longer. They've handled two sets of fleet vehicles, an assortment of personal vehicles and now, my parents car. Always fair with pricing, the most accommodating hours in the business and good to work with.

I had my STI worked on by Jeremy and Mike and these guys here in Glenville are amazing. Top quality work, with no shortcuts taken. So so pleased, and I would recommend this place to anyone wanting their vehicle repaired the right way.

My wife went in for an oil change. They charged her for the oil change and never did it. Then they took my wife's car out to get washed and they drove it away but never got it washed. The owners response was they test drive your car before and after an oil change. Well you must be the only garage that does that. I'm thinking they went on a Dunkin run. We have always brought our vehicles there for years and heard weird stories about employees using other people's vehicles to run errands. I think we ended up being one of them. We are officially done with Auto Solutions.

Fast, affordable and decent to work with. They are always very busy but can always get assist you within a reasonable time. They even washed my car after. Highly recommend.

Stopped by on a very busy Thursday for a insurance photo inspection. Kelsey at their front desk seems to wear many hats reception/service advising/administration/AR/etc. She handled the busy atmosphere pleasantly and with ease. Very positive interaction with the front line of this business.

Decent enough customer service. The lady that helped me was pleasant and helpful. Not a single mask was being worn by anyone in the building, customers included. The tiny waiting room is not conducive to proper social distancing efforts, and was relatively overcrowded. The general atmosphere created by this made me very uncomfortable. It felt like everyone was on the defensive and ready to protect themselves. I was genuinely afraid to be in the waiting room, and couldn't wait to leave.

I had my car detailed inside and out , also had a cold air intake put in my car. They helped me pick a good one out for my car and installed it! My car came out amazing! The dealer left wax residue behind, swirls and wax in the crevasses ! Auto solutions did a fantastic job with my car! I will be using them for further work on my car , very excited and highly recommend !

Went to this place because of the convenience of the location and they were gracious enough to fit me in on a Friday afternoon at the last minute for my car inspection. Based on this, I decided six months later I would have them replace brakes on my vehicle. However, I ended up taking my business elsewhere. Why? Because I called on a Monday requesting an estimate and received no response within 24-48 hours. I called back again four days later and again requested an estimate, was told someone would call me back and now it’s three days later i have yet to hear from anyone. Not a good way to do business.

Friendly and accommodating with fair pricing and a focus on maintaining customer relationships! I have only had basic service done so far (tire mounting) but since I do my own rotating, I know they don't over-torque the lugs when they remounted the rims. That's huge. Most of the high-volume not-worried-about-repeat-customer shops use impact wrenches and you'll not only find wheels with nuts put on at over 200 ft-lbs, but the nuts will be unevenly over-torqued across the same rim which is even worse. These folks hand torque, which means their care! They have a pretty long working day making scheduling easier than some of the other small shops and they will do their best to fit you in without overbooking themselves (and apologizing later). Their professionalism can't be beat. For a tiny job (two tire mounts on rims I hand-carried in) they sent me on my way when I picked up the wheels and said they'd mail me a tiny bill for $30 (it's a bit more if they have to deal with a car being attached) saying they didn't want to hold me up after work. Thoughtful and customer-oriented, for sure! If you do bring your car in for the service and have time, they will also drive it through a local carwash (I'm not sure which; there are a couple in that area) free of charge before you leave. They have contracts with some local fleets and companies and still manage to service the individual customer, which is even more surprising when you see their prices which are very reasonable. There's another shop I won't name not terribly far away that does good work as well but is noticeably more expensive. If you are in or can get to Schenectady-Glenville area for auto work, you won't go wrong with these good folks.

Last year I had trouble finding places locally to the area that would perform service on a motorhome. Luckily I found Auto Solutions! The staff were quite professional and the service prices reasonable. They also washed the vehicle while I had it in for service and look forward to the next time i can give them my business. The day I was picking it up was the day before a large snowstorm and quite cold. They knew I would be there around noon and even started it so it would be warmed up for me. And, offered to bring it out for me if I was not comfortable pulling it out of the spot it was parked in one the side of their building. I would recommend for anyone looking to have their vehicle or motorhome serviced.

My experience with this shop was a long time ago and I kept meaning to write about it but forgot. So anyway, Mike was an amazing person to work with. Huge props GIVE HIM A BONUS. He went above and beyond to help me out in a very sketchy situation that I had with repairs at a shop in New Jersey after I got into an accident and couldn’t drive my car back to Albany. The shop is Jersey used all wrong parts in my car, alignment was off, my driver door was not on correctly, when I arrived in Albany after a 2 hour drive my car sounded like it was bottoming out and that the door was going to fall off. Mike looked into insurance claims this other shop put in and communicated with that shop on my behalf to have all repairs be covered by the shop personally so that I was not liable for additional repair payments. He also communicated with my insurance rep on my case. Making this whole process a lot less stressful than it would have been anywhere else. I could not be more appreciative and thankful for him and the experience with Auto Solutions, I recommend this shop to everyone who ever gets into an accident. When I finally got my car back it was emmaculate and perfectly detailed like it was brand new again.

Auto solutions is definitely the place to go..... Accidents happen, and our Ford Edge was unfortunately side swiped. I checked reviews of some local shops and discovered that Auto Solutions was highly recommended. I spoke with Mike on the Phone and was at the shop for an estimate 20minutes later. Mike quickly scheduled the work to be completed. When we dropped the car off, Mike had a rental available and waiting. This is THE place to go. They are very professional, nice to work with and do superb work. When we picked-up our car, the ENTIRE car was detailed inside and out. It looked like it just rolled off the assemble line. On top of that, Mike noticed that the yearly inspection was almost up and completed that also. We highly, highly, highly recommend Auto Solutions to anyone looking for a repair shop. Thanks again Mike...... If I could have given you 10 stars I would have.......

My brand new Honda Civic was hit while parked on the street and after getting a quote from another body shop, I took it to Mike at Auto Solutions because he was highly recommended by my brother. They did an awesome job and even threw in an interior and exterior detail. Having a dog makes the car VERY tough to keep clean, but there was not a dog hair in sight!! Highly recommend Auto Solutions!

These people were SO nice to us. They were very busy but managed to fit in our repair within a day. We were in our RV travelling from Orlando to Quebec when sudden electrical repairs were needed. Auto Solutions and most particularly Mike Schaeffer treated us like family. I highly recommend this business!

1st time going to Auto Solutions & I'd give them 6 stars if possible. They did an AMAZING job on my car after I got in an accident. Looks brand new and they even detailed the inside and outside. Outstanding customer service and above expectation results.. What more could you ask for? I would 100% recommend using Auto Solutions!

3/7/2017 - This was the first time I used Auto Solutions. My passenger side view mirror on my 2000 Chevy Blazer, got damaged in a minor accident. The motorist who hit me, highly recommended Auto Solutions. He said he had used them for his truck and they did a great job and got it done quickly. I followed him to the shop and was greeted with a welcome and a smile. They looked at my car and said they would order a new mirror and would call me when it came in to set up an appointment to have it installed. I few days later I got a phone call saying my mirror had come in. I set up an appointment for Tuesday at 1:00pm. I arrived to have the mirror installed. They immediately brought my car into the shop and started working on it. I sat in the waiting area, enjoying a nice cup of coffee while they fixed my car. Within 45 minutes they were done and handed me my keys. They thanked me for using their shop and explained all the other auto services they provide. I am a very happy customer due to the quick and friendly service I received from Auto Solutions. I will recommend them to my friends and family. Thank you for a speedy job well done. My car looks new again, as if nothing ever happened ! 5/2/2017 - Two months later and it happened again, but this time the driver's side mirror on my 2000 Chevy Blazer got broken. So I called Auto Solutions to set up an appointment to get a new mirror installed on my driver's door. I brought the car in today at noon to have the mirror installed. I enjoyed a nice cup of cappuccino and 45 minutes later my car was done. They handed me my keys and thanked me for choosing Auto Solutions again. A perfect repair and now my car looks new again. I am a very happy customer and will surely recommend their shop to my friends. They are the best. I give them a perfect score of 5 stars ! 5/25/2017 - Here I am back again in three weeks. This time my driver's door power window stopped working. It went down but wouldn't come back up. So I called the shop to set up an emergency appointment to have it repaired. They set me up for the next day. I brought my car in as scheduled and handed them my keys. I took a seat in the waiting room and enjoyed a couple cups of coffee while watching the news on TV. Within a few hours they replaced the defective electric motor. My window now works perfect again. For the third time I left with a smile on my face and a verynsatisfied customer. The price was extremely reasonable too. These guys really know how to treat the customer right. I will surely recommend them to my friends. Once again, I give them a perfect score of 5 stars !

I went there on a recommendation to take my snow tires off last spring and an oil change. Mike was polite, professional, and honest. I've been bringing my car there ever since. They don't try to over sell anything that's not needed. They also treated me with respect, as some shops I've been to in the past haven't because I'm female. Highly recommend!

Very poor service. Had a car towed here without our consent. We weren't notified of any of the fees and charged over $700. It is absolutely incredible that these shops are able to rob people like this. Just another shop that is only interested in money and not its customers. My recommendation is to avoid this business.

I have taken our cars to Auto Solutions several times for various fixes and highly recommend them. Mike is great - always helpful and very up-front, courteous, and honest. Their work is excellent and their prices are very reasonable.

Mike and his team did a great job fixing my car after a bad accident. His work on my car is phenomenal and he did everything he could to ensure that the quality of work was excellent. I would recommend Auto solutions to anyone who is looking for an auto mechanic shop that is dedicated to their integrity, superb work, and knowledge to keep you informed on what's going on with your vehicle. They also topped it off by detailing the entire car and made sure that everything was how I made the vehicle and even better after my accident. This is the best repair facility I have ever been to. They went Above & Beyond all my expectations. As we all know getting into a car accident is one the most stressful situations, (Who do I take my car to? Who will fix it right? Who will be honest as to what repairs are needed?) I'll tell you who, AUTO SOLUTIONS in Glenville NY! My car was given back to me and looked brand new like the day we bought it, which was 5 years ago! I cannot believe the job they did. Not only that, but they detailed it (No Charge by the way), Inspected it for me, and made sure before I left that was happy with everything. From the first time when I dropped it off, Jenna at the front desk was very accommodating, to when I picked my vehicle up, Mike personally Looked over the vehicle with me (I think he is the owner). Bravo, Job Well Done. In the future I will only bring my vehicle back to them. I'm glad I found them and will recommend to all my friends and family. Thanks again Auto Solutions!

These guys have always been great. Mike takes care of every car in my family including my mother and my son. It was my son who first sent me to Auto Solutions a few years ago. When my dealer tried to overcharge me for a brake job on my 2012 Kia, Mike took care of me and pointed out the things the dealer was trying to charge me for that didn't need to be done. In fact I just dropped my car off their today for another issue that I don't trust the dealer on. Mike is an honest guy that gets right to the point and he always tries to help you get your car fixed properly without breaking your wallet. They're very busy over there, but they always work to get you in fast. And they stand by their work. If you don't trust your dealer's service center, take their estimate to Mike and see the difference for yourself.

Mike and his crew are some of the most excellent mechanics around. I Have taken my truck there twice in the last year. Mike will fight the warranty and insurance companies to ensure you get what you pay for and the work is way above par. They are a family owned local buisness and they are the example of why anyone should use them over any chain repair shop.
