the gentleman working the monday closing shift was not knowledgeable on the computer software and was rude the entire time regarding the return. he was also inappropriate towards his female coworker in front of us. i’m sure he’s reeeeal pleasant to work with.

Desperately needing a new battery, I tested my luck and shot over to AAP around 10am (on this Friday morning) before other errands. Sky caught me looking at batteries and immediately came over to assist. I can't say enough of how flawless and fast the entire process was. Sky had me cashed out within minutes and came right out with the supplies to do the new battery install. Sky had a great upbeat personality and showed genuine interest in wanting to help. Sky saved me hours of youtube videos and DIY trials and errors and had me back on the road within 15 minutes.

2 stars because you can get what you need, but don't expect to get it fast, or right the first time. I have been to this location a few times for a few different things. First was for a set of brake rotors for my car. I gave them the correct specifications. The employee comes out with the wrong diameter rotors. Five lug instead of the four lug my car requires. When l point out the error, the employee argued that they are correct. I had to point to my car in the parking lot and show them there were in fact four lug, not 5. Ok not so bad right? We all have off days. Later I go here with a coworker who needed wiper blades. Full installation guaranteed. The employee goes out with the blades, tugs and pulls on the old ones. Cusses under his breath and says he will be back with someone who knows how to do it. We are in the parking lot for 10 minutes waiting. No one comes out. I finally replace the wipers myself in 30 seconds and we take off. Seriously? Why bother? This location has a serious problem with both competency and professionalism. I only come here if I can't wait for Amazon to deliver it tomorrow. Otherwise I stay away. Why? Because the employees here are just not worth dealing with.

I’ve been having issues with my battery, the last several months not charging. I went it to the shop and explained the situation, I had bought it this summer. The custom service rep, was fantastic and replaced the battery!! This is the first review I’ve written but I felt compelled to Due to the excellent customer service! Thanks and happy holidays!

Walked in need of help with a signal turn light’ 4 employee’s behind the counter and was offered zero costumer service’ at one point advised me to look at my cars manual to figure out my own problem’ walked out and went to Auto Zone and they help me right away diagnosed the problem and in 5 minutes I was good to go’ never shop here some of these employees forget the meaning of customer service’ You Just Lost A Customer

Absolutely awful customer service, ill never step foot in this store ever again. Buddy playing dungeons & dragons on his phone at the front counter seemed to busy to help me find a door clip which was a simple question. He walked down the isle they were in & said “yeah they're in this isle” walked away. When I could not find them, (because the brand had changed) I walked back to the counter where he was still Playing on his phone he says “ Yeah, they’re in the aisle where I told you they were” to which I said, YOU WORK HERE, not me. I’m just looking for some help. So he stormed down the aisle, went right to them, and finally grabbed them for me which should have been done in the first place. Do not shop here

I visited this location around noon today looking for touch up paint for my car. I wish I had gotten the sales guy’s name, his lack of interest in what I needed was very evident (working & eating instead of talking directly to me). His overall attitude was abrupt & short, and he was just plain rude. I won’t be returning.

Glenville store is very well run. CJ is amazing very personable and very knowledgeable. This is my new store. Mike H

I cant say enough good things about CJ from Advance Auto Parts in Glenville NY! He was absolutely amazing. I just bought a used car which had some scuffs and CJ came out to my car and inspected them and then gave me the products I needed. He also special ordered the exact paint color based on model. Then he came out and tested to make sure the paint and products worked perfectly. Now that is REALLY GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE! I also noticed how well he managed the front retail desk/orders/call. He is a master at running a retail business such as this. Great job CJ!

I had an issue with my headlamps and headed over to Advance in Glenville. I was assisted by a gentleman named Kenrick who not only helped me understand the problem but helped me install them. Its that 'extra mile' that a person goes that impresses me, because they didn't have to but they did. It's people like Rodrick that make the difference when I choose where to shop. Thanks again!

I went there to have my alternator checked out because I heard a very strange noise. The nice lady there said that the alternator was just fine. The next day I brought my car to my mechanic, and he said that it was the air compressor!!! Wow!!! That was expensive!!!. But at least now I have air conditioning, and boy did I need it these last few weeks!!!

I just left the Glenville NY store, and I’ve gotta say that because of a particular employee, I couldn’t have been more impressed with the customer service I was provided. Not only was I immediately greeted upon crossing the threshold, this young man went above and beyond any and all expectations I had had prior to walking in those doors. The employees name is Brian. If you’re looking to be assisted by someone who is very attentive of your needs, helpful, patient, thorough, swift and smiling through it all…ask for Brian. Again, I couldn’t have been happier with this particular visit to the Glenville Store.

Jared at advance auto is awesome! He helped me out with changing my air filter, he took a look at both filters to see which one I needed to replace then helped install the new filter. So friendly and knowledgeable, thanks so much for your help Jared!

Nice store with a lot of things and accessories for your car. It's clean, well organized, and staff are quick to help and knowledge about finding things and right choices for your car. Lot of parking space so no worries when needing to spend time in the store for what you need. Will be going more often for our car parts and accessories.

Terrible customer support. Started phone call by saying the part was no longer manufactured, then change the story to they cannot get the part in (even though their sister store 30 minutes away has the part.), finally changed it to our store does not carry that. It is apparent they want you to take your business elsewhere.

I had to go to this location a few times and everyone has been great. Yesterday I needed a new battery for 1 of my cars, after I purchased it they had no issues by carrying and putting in my vehicle, then I asked where I should put the old one he said don't worry about they would take care of it. He was top notch, I am happy to tell you he wasn't doing this because they have to he offered and really cared. I am sorry I just couldn't remember his name.

11:45am, one person on register with a line other person at a closed register. Asked the second person if he could check inventory and he said "No you have to wait in line for the person on the register." I walked out, NAPA is right down the road.

Came to get a replacement headlight for my friend. He couldn’t figure out how to install it. Employee named Kendrick volunteered to come outside to help. After 15 minutes in the cold, and lots of trial and error - the headlight was on and working. Tried to give Kendrick a tip for his efforts and he refused to take it. Definitely a great employee and a great experience. Give that man a raise!

They have what you need, but I wish they shaved the prices just a little. Staff is helpful and the tool loaning program is fantasticly helpful. OBD II throws a code once, maybe twice while you own a vehicle, so why buy a reader?

So friendly and knowledgeable. Extremely helpful and quick service. Saved us money on what we needed without even asking. This location is easy to navigate and organized. Prices are a bit high but you definitely get what you pay for! We will be back for our future car needs.

I went into the glenville store today and was second in line. The woman behind the counter was helping a gentleman, she disappeared for over 5 min into the back when she came back to the counter she told the man they were out of whatever he was looking for to come back tomorrow. When it was my turn she told me what isle my 2 items were in. I asked if there was anyone who could help me for a second as I had been down the isle and didn't know what I was looking at. She told me "she couldn't, I would have to wait for her to help the others. " so everyone else got her attention but I wasn't going to. I will not be giving my money to a store that treats the customers that way. She could have given me the same respect as she did the gentleman in front of me and the people behind me. .

Great place to Shop for your essentials for your Car or Truck upkeep. GOOD selection of products to maintain your vehicle. Also if they do not have it they WILL order it and try to get it for you. I go there usually once a month to see what I can pick-up for myself to maintain my vehicle.

They've always been attentive there. However, this time there were only two employees; one at the counter and one replacing a battery for someone outside. The employee working the counter had two people waiting, I was a third waiting customer. At the same time, he was answering multiple calls on the phone. In addition, there was another customer waiting for a battery replacement. After waiting for approximately 15 minutes, it was obvious there would be a wait of at least another fifteen minutes before it was my turn to be tended to.

Ordered a new car battery online. The representative was friendly and helpful. He changed the battery with ease and tested to make sure I was good to go.
