Phone doesn't work, and it was $70 last year for a pickup truck load. Now it's a minimum $150 up to a ton. Wish I knew that before going there. Hope this helps for people thinking of going here.

Friendly. Few signs, though, telling one what to do. First, go up scale and get weighed, then after green light, go to stop sign and wait for direction on where to dump. After dumping, get weighed then walk into office to pay. They only take cards. No cash. And don’t bother trying to call them. They won’t answer. Nor will they call you back if you leave a message. They will take fiberglass insulation. And most anything else that isn’t either radioactive or contains volatile chemicals.

Can anyone tell me if I can just bring a couch there for a flat rate? I can't get anyone to answer the phone or return a voicemail. I found a price list, but it's from 2018 before the fire

Perfect place you scale in, off load scale out and pay they take cards only

They take just about anything. Just make sure you have a full load, the prices are higher since the fire.

Great place to dump yer stuff. Easy system. Hardly no wait. I only gave it 4 stars because I think $70 minimum is a bit high but that's a lay person's view. I would recommend this Transfer Station to all.

First visit here so I really had no idea what to expect. There is a minimum charge per load up to about 1200 pounds, I came in at 1180, so I guess I did good! The young lady at the scale was very nice and helpful, the rest of the staff appeared to be operating heavy equipment. They were zipping around when we arrived, but it seems we were the first public visitors for the day so they had pulled aside until it wasn’t so congested. I appreciate the safety minded approach. When pulling in you should wait to be told when to pull forward into a bay. I wasn’t clear on how this would work, until the operator of the front loader flashed a number card at us, telling us which bay to use. Somehow I thought this was really comical! Overall a great experience, everyone seemed pleasant and well trained/coordinated.

Reasonable rate to dump a truckload of junk. People there are friendly and patient

Minimum charge of $70 is a waste of money unless you have at least 1,200 lb of garbage.

Do not go to Hiram Hollow for disposal as a homeowner unless you have a total weight close to 1200 lbs because the minimum charge since they reopened is $70 upto 1200 lbs. I called because I heard it was $70 minimum they never offered to work with me when I described I only had an SUV that had about 100 to 150 lbs. I guess they are eliminating homeowners out of their business model.

The rates for disposal to go over the scale is astronomically expensive, these exuberant fees take it vantage of our community that has to put up with garbage trucks dropping garbage all over the sides of our roads in our community, but yet they still charge the highest rates to local community members is ridiculous!

I went here today for the first time and they only charged me $25 because I only had a few things. They do work with you, all you have to do is ask. Easy in and out. Shout out to exemplary employee Joe who assisted me today. I left $5 cash for you at the window. Thank you again. They also take debit and credit cards. 😎

Do not go here! We called to verify they would take our garbage, loaded up a truck and when we get there they tell us it’s a $70 minimum charge!!! You could have told us on the phone. Ridiculous! Save yourself the hassle and head to Clifton Park!!!!!

I have brought garbage to this site for years. Whatever it is, just bring it there, endure the stench, and empty your vehicle of the wretched. They weigh your vehicle when you drive in, and then they weigh it when you leave. They charge you a flat fee plus the weight of the garbo you drop. So fill your vehicle and go there. It's worth it. :-)

Great dump. Nearly the best. I only wish that the wait-time was sometimes shorter...

Friendly person at the gate, reasonable prices. I was able to dump a ton of rubble for $20. Trash and c&d waste is a bit more, but still very reasonable.
