I went to that place to see if they can sent me a tow truck to repair my car,so they did and the price was the double for the tow truck than another shop,so i called then an let them now that i gonna used another tow company to bring my car to fix,so this guy was very rude y gets mad because he wants me to pay $150 dollars for that tow truck five minutes away from my house,and told me don’t come with that car to my shop i cant do business like that! I mean,don’t even try to come to that place!

Went here as an emergency my car broke down near by and this was the closest place to get it to. We asked to be called with the price of the repairs before it was fixed which they didn’t do. They fixed the car without consulting us and then over charged us for the repairs. (We asked another shop after the fact that we’ve been to before and their price for the exact same thing was about $70 less). They were rude when I showed up to pay. Also whatever the times are that they are supposed to be open isn’t necessarily true. It wouldn’t surprise me if they were to take advantage of someone especially a women or someone younger because they assume you don’t have a clue. Honestly go somewhere other than here it’s not worth the trouble.
I had the pleasure of meeting Wayne and his crew when I went in for a car inspection this week. I was accommodated within a half an hour after my call, and received prompt service when I arrived. I was also greeted by the sweet resident kitty known as LB. I would highly recommend Stony Point Auto Care. Thank you for the professional and friendly customer service!!
I was riding my bicycle by this repair shop on Saturday and had a flat tire. I was greeted by the owner, Wayne who is quite possibly the nicest human being I’ve ever met in my life. They extended their garage, their tools and expertise and couldn’t do enough to help me. They would not accept any money from me. While I was there several customers came in to drop off or pick up their vehicles. I observed not only Wayne but the entire staff handling all customers with same respect and courtesy. All customers were extremely satisfied with service and quality of repair. If I lived in the area I would never consider going anywhere else with my vehicle. I was literally treated like a family member and two days later still have a warm feeling by why great people and what a great business this is. Wayne THANK YOU, for being you. This was all from the heart and they are ALL genuinely fantastic and honest people. If you’re seeking auto repair in this area there is no reason to look any further. I have never experience such good customer service in my life and I am extremely critical of businesses. I would rate them 1000 stars if possible.
Needed emergency repair: tire damage from chewed up surface on 9W. Found the shop on Google search and called them. They said they’d take care of me as soon as my car was towed there. I don’t know if pricing was fair or not (as accused in another review) and, frankly, didn’t care what it cost. All I know is they worked fast and efficiently. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again. Ask for Wayne or Brian. But don’t ask for L.B. She’s a cat that lives on the premises!
This place was recommended by a friend. I recently moved to Stony Point and my truck had alternator trouble. at first I thought this place was cool because the owner, Wayne, was very attentive and seem to be a standup guy. he sent a tow truck right away and I left my truck at his shop for repair. the work was done satisfactorily but i thought his prices were too high. This is the first time in my life I had ever paid over $1000 for an alternator and battery. He said the part was very expensive and I believe him, so I OK. But after I picked up the truck, I did some research and I found the alternator in multiple retail locations for under $200 and the battery for about $50 less. thus, I must have paid about $ 225 extra for parts alone. My issue is not with his labor charges or tow, its with the mark up on the parts. Nice shop, good work but be ready to pay thru the nose for parts. I will not be going back there again and I will be telling my friend to double check this place prices before doing any future work.
Excellent service! I only trust my BMW in their hands. Convenient to drop off at night and I got it back the very next day all fixed! AND FOR A REASONABLE PRICE!
I ran in for an inspection but my battery died (it had done this before and I stupidly never got it replaced) and he quickly replaced it and had me on my way. They were all so friendly and helpful!
Honest Man, Honest Shop!!! I was referred to Stony Point Auto Care via a friend. Best referral ever! Wayne, the owner, was honest and told me everything up front. Long story short. I have a Mercedes ML350. I had a problem with the door handle. I went to two shops including the local Mercedes dealership. They both told me I needed a door handle actuator to fix the problem. The service at the dealership was more than the part. I bought the part. I asked Wayne to put it in. He wasn't sure the part would solve the problem. It didn't! He diagnosed the real problem and fixed the door for less than the SERVICE at the car dealership.
If you are out there looking for car service and worried about being ripped off, call Wayne!!! He is as honest as they come. Wayne if you are reading this. Thanks again for your help. You and your staff was great! I will be back for other service items.
Oh! One more thing. I dropped the car off in the morning. They dropped me off at work. Once they were finished, they called me and came to pick me up from work. WHERE DO YOU GET THAT SERVICE?? Excellent car care!
