Don’t bring em here, they’ll give ya .35 cents and claim they overpaid. Shameful behavior.

These guys paid .35 cents a pound for brass and copper heat exchangers. When I said that seemed low he checked with his buyer and said he was overpaying at that. Very nervous and shaky, paid me in a check. I have always been paid cash at a reputable scrapyard and never ripped off this bad. These are commonly worth 2-3 dollars a pound. Lesson learned, see what they’re willing to pay before you unload 900 pounds into their shop.

Great people there. It's a junk yard so it's dirty of course, what else would you expect? I wouldn't expect anything less. They are organized so it's easy to know where to go with whatever scrap you have in your load. Easier to get to and better getting around than trying to get down into the city. Our choice for making a bit of extra money when scrapping!

Great bunch of guys and they pay a very fair price. Why drive to Albany County when you have a great spot right close by.
