Impossible to get anyone on the phone. Was going to cancel because my bill was at $130.00. They lowered it to $80.00. Why couldn't they have just left it there! Greedy company just like Spectrum and Verizon. They then again raised my price, and they don't inform you of price increases which is why I took it off autopay. Half the time the bins are just tossed wherever they land. Sometimes in the ditch next to my house. I had to repair a bent wheel a few times because of this. Last straw. Going through the cancellation again. What a nightmare. There are a few companies locally that are far and above this company. I urge anyone to use them instead.
Don’t ever miss your pick up day because of the charge for an extra pick up is astronomical. Customer service has definitely decreased since obtaining waste management five years ago.
Do not use Waste Management. Their customer service is basically non-existent. It is impossible to contact anyone when trying to change or cancel your service. They continue to take your money without providing any service. Avoid this company, use a locally owned company instead with customer service you can actually reach.
I've been billed 4 times for 92 dollars for a late fee after paying over 560 for the year in January ots completely a scam and am changing service as soon as the contracted year ends
WM billing is horrible and extremely inconsistent. One quarter I'll get a bill for 86 dollars and change, then the quarter it will be for 134 dollars and change. I paid them what I owed, and canceled them over 5 months ago and not only are they still sending these reviews, they're trying to put me collection ! This business is pure trash !! Pun intended.
I haven't been a customer of theirs in over a year. Yet they keep sending me surveys. It is 8-20-25 today, I discontinued my service with these bums back in June of 2024.
Always notified of schedule changes. Dependable. Always leaves the pickup area clean and puts containers back out of the way of cars and driveway. Excellent service.
I've had very good experiences with WM. I only wish there was some way to separate the "film" (papertowel wrapping, etc) from the garbage. Otherwise, I will continue to be a customer of WM.
Service is very good. Price increases I had not paid attention to (my bad) brought the price we were paying to about 250
other vendors charge my neighbors. When I realized this I contacted them and they offered me a much reduced rate. And a couple months credit. when that ran out I called to cancel, which you cannot do online, and was unable to,after being on hold for 45 minutes on 2 occasions. Eventually through trying some different options on the menu, I got to someone in another department who transferred me to someone in another department who said they would cancel it and have my containers picked up. I keep getting dunning notice from from them that I'm late paying for my service. Although I haven't received any service from them since the ending date of my last payment. After all that Istill got multiple calls and texts from them saying it's urgent I contact them about my account. Previous to this they had never called me back when I left messages saying I want to cancel
Spent an hour on the phone between 3 people to try and cancel my service. The women on the phone asked if she was able to lower my bill for next year would I stay with WM. My bill went up over $130 from last year. I said no, and why does it take a phone call to have my bill lowered. I was currently at the end of my yearly contract that I paid in full the year before. The women then tried to charge me $75 to cancel and not renew my service. Ill be driving the bins down to WM!
Changed over to Waste Management last year and they have been percent AWESOME. Clean and polite. Prices were just a little more than other companies but the bins for garbage and recycling are way better and BIGGER. Easy to use app makes them even better.
I am very upset with WM. i had an arrangement that my garbage and recyclables would be picked up at the Corall that they were kept in. on Nov.21st they drove right by. I called WM and we agreed they would pick up on the next scheduled day of No. 29rt. they drove right by again. now I am very upset I called again it was a holiday and they could not get anyone out here.
they ended picking up my garbage and recyclables on my regular day of Dec. 5th. 3 weeks worth of garbage and recyclables. needless to say the cans were overflowing.
this is unacceptable. i have been a customer for 24 years and I have had a few minor issues but never anything like this.
I also noticed that my bill is creeping up over $100.00. i thought that would not happen.
consequently I am looking for a new company to do business with.

They do a good job but are unwilling to pick up any recycling that doesn't fit in the can. I had a box full of boxes and they refused to take it. They would not even let me pay extra to get it picked up!!!
Service is reliable, a few years ago they were dropping glass all over the road, I complained and it hasn’t happened since, that’s good customer service
WM drivers are always on time, respectful, & do a great job! On top of that, they've even gone out of their way to help me on many occasions as they're aware I'm disabled & can't always get the cans out in time. Their kindness has made me smile & helped more than they know on some of my worst days. They truly deserve recognition for a job not just well done, but exceptionally done!
Used to be great, not anymore. Bins' not emptied completely by truck, site not clean after pickup, containers broken by truck regularly, replacement service drops off dirty used bins to replaced the ones that the truck broke.
Extremely high prices...they do not take any bulk or larger items....and if you cancel you have to finish out your 3 month "agreement" and they charge 75$ to come get there trash bins. But I will admit they are consistent and dependable for weekly trash pickup. No issue there .
The price keeps going up. Listing of what they will pick up grows smaller.
I couldn't even throw away a broken plastic rake head because it was too large for the container. They wanted me to call for a special pick up for a RAKE HEAD!
Get out of the trucks and throw away my garbage please.
For almost $200 a billing cycle.....you'd think this would be easy.
Customer service is unbelievable rude! Called they're custumer service help line to get information about they're fee's and policy's. All they did was try to talk me into additional services and when I asked how to cancel my garbage pickup entirely the women that I was talking to just hung up on me.
Switching out recycle bins is fine .....the one they dropped at my home is,disgusting, dirty and smelly. When I request to have it removed they tell me to wait 5 days. Not acceptable
