Horribly rude and unprofessional. Went there about 15 years ago to get something out of a car that my friend (passenger) was in, that got towed to their shop and was in an accident. I drove all the way there and 5 grown men got in my face and screamed at me, while the old man cocked his fist like he was going to punch me (a woman). Then the younger guys got chest to chest with me and pushed me out the door. I still think about how I was treated years later.
Towed my motorcycle after a accident. Their times don't match there actually operation time. This towing company did more damage to the bike than the accident did.
Motorcycle broke down on the highway, responded out and rescued me in like 10 minutes on the weekend. Super prompt,nice tow guy, got me rolling again very quickly. Outstanding service.
My car has been in 4 times in the last few year. Backed into a concrete pillar twice, tore off the front end beginning of December and just last june after hitting a deer. First question they asked is if i was alright, this was the following day since i was able to drive the car home. Came quickly to tow the car and the tow driver remembered me and the car and what repairs had been done to it. Only had one moment of confusion when a similar car was in for front end damage and a part for my car was returned since someone that it was for his car (same make and model) and he didnt need it. The mix up was handled quickly. They have always handled the insurance part after our initial call so i dont have to do anything with them and they have even delived the car after the repairs are done if they have a tow out my way. Phil is the nicest guy you will ever meet and even though hes the owner he gets his hands dirty doing the work also. If i ever need another repair i know where to go.
AVOID at all costs!! Paid for NEW parts, but used (junk yard) parts were installed! On top of that, the workmanship was substandard at best! Never again!!
STAY AWAY AT ALL COST...I WANT TO START OUT BY SAYING MY INSURANCE COMPANY PAID FOR ALL NEW PARTS AFTER MY ACCIDENT. I DIDN'T THINK SOMETHING WAS RIGHT AFTER MY REPAIR SO I TOOK TO THE INSURANCE COMPANY AND HAD THEM DO AN INSPECTION. I WOUND OUT THAT 75% OF THE PARTS THAT PHILLIP GULLA THE OWNER OF BEACON BODY SHOP WAS PAID TO INSTALL ON MY CAR WERE NEVER INSTALLED......ABSOLUTE INSURANCE FRAUD TO SAY THE LEAST......HIS SON FRANK WAS VERY NICE BUT WHEN IT CAME TO DEALING WITH PHILLIP HE LOOKED AT ME LIKE A PIECE OF MEAT AND EVEN PROPOSITIONED ME !!!!! I WAS APPALLED AND INSULTED TO SAY THE LEAST. MY HUSBAND AND HIS BROTHER WANTED TO GO THERE AND HANDLE HIM BUT WE ARE TAKING OTHER COURSES OF ACTION THE PROPER WAY. PHILLIP GULLA HAS A TRACK RECORD AFTER DOING A LITTLE CHECK MYSELF......THIS PLACE SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN AND PHILLIP GULLA SENT TO STATE PRISON.......
I am extremely happy with the work done for me on my car. The folks at Beacon took great care with her and she is gorgeous! Frank was professional and took care of the insurance claim and paperwork and even picked up and dropped off my car. Excellent customer service and I highly recommend! Thank you so much. I've included some before and after photos, because not only was the work quality, but the guys at the shop were so respectful and kept me well informed. They called me when they found more damage, as well as letting me know where they can help save me money. They wer courteous of my budget and even help save me money on my deductible :-) no doubt about it, I'll be bringing my car there from now on! Also I wanted to add, the mechanics there took the spray paint on the grill off by hand to give me a beautiful chrome grill that the previous owner had covered up. They went above and beyond, and I could not be happier
Let me start by saying that my expectation were surpassed by the amazing staff at Beacon Auto Body. From my first phone call and speaking to Dom and them with Frank the owner. My sons car was struck while he was parked up at college. We live 3 1/2 hours away. What to do? Bring car home ? would need to be towed as whole back bumper was hanging off. Or find a local shop. I took a chance on a shop not knowing ANYTHING about them at all. I got off the phone and felt like i knew them for my whole life. I was put at ease immediately. Their professionalism was top notch. I highly recommend them and the work that was done was amazing. Thank you Thank you

I brought my Jeep Wrangler here to be fixed after an accident and th owner came and talked to me personally and was the most helpful and genuine man. It was my first accident and he was so kind and wanted to actually help my husband and I. They only took 2 weeks to fix my jeep and the work they did was wonderful. A great business with great customer service, the receptionist was also very kind and helpful. I would suggest them to anyone!
This is the best auto body shop in town. You are going to get excellent service, excellent personal respect on your auto needs and they are one of the most honest auto body shop businesses I know. My husband and I are about to make our second trip to Beacon. We are older and have had many experiences with body shops and mechanics over the years. We are happy to say, you will be very pleased with this shop. They are honest, and their work is fantastic. Top quality and good service, you will be happy with them.
someone from beacon saw I was stuck in a storm and offered to come back with a tow. They were honest about the damage to my car and didn't suggest fixing it even though that ment more money for them. They were all very nice and tried to do what was best for me, the customer not their wallets.
Ive been loyal to Beacon Auto Body Shop and Towing since 1991 when I first needed to become a customer after I met the owner Phil Gulla when I had just become a member of The Maynard Volunteer Fire Dept. and we had responded to a motor vehicle accident on Cavanaugh Road in Marcy to which he was hooking up to one of the vehicles in ditch. Unfortunately the down side of needing to become customer of Phil's well for myself anyway was not ever good being either needing to have damage repaired or towed. Has had recent personal health issues and as always very happy to have become aware he has fared well and wish Philly and all his family and friends a happy healthy 2016 Holiday Season and many more.
