My insurance company connected me to Gemma’s and the dispatcher expedited the call to her driver and in less than 30 minutes road side assisted was there to help change my tire. I would never wish for anyone to be in the situation where you need to have their car towed BUT as we all know, things happen. If you are ever to find yourself in such a situation GEMMA AUTO TOWING is the best way to go. I had the pleasure of meeting Nelson one of their auto tech during such a situation. He arrived MUCH sooner than expected. He was so pleasant and just calm, cool and collected. My car couldn’t be placed into neutral and therefore couldn’t be moved but, Nelson figured it out. I broke down in the middle of a intersection, and The police had to push me into a parking lot. I called AAA and they dispatched a different company, who left me waiting for four hours, and were so incredibly rude to me, that I contacted AAA again and specifically requested Gemma‘s Towing, as I was already familiar with them from previous interactions. They were on site in less than half an hour, and their driver, Juan Carlos, was incredibly professional and thorough. I could not be happier with the service I received from both the driver and from Gemma’s internal dispatch personnel. I highly recommend them, they are absolutely the best Towing service in Nassau County!!

I recently walked in to refill my coolant as the levels were low and i have to say I had an amazing experience first they greeted me with respect and kindness than afterwards their work was top-notch they got it done in a timely manner nobody was slacking and you can tell they love what they do absolutely great place.

My mom managed to get her car stuck on a rock. We needed a tow to lift and push the car. I called Gemma's and they were there in 20 minutes and charged a very reasonable fee. Really appreciate how quickly they got there and how easily everything was resolved.

This is a 2-pt review. Yesterday evening my car started shaking violently … the dashboard malfunctioned … and my car stopped driving. I had to have my vehicle towed but I just moved to the area and didn’t know where to bring it or who would be available to service it first thing Saturday morning without an appointment. The options my insurance provided didnt seem reputable but Joe from Gemma’s showed up with a tow. He called when he was en route, showed up 15 minutes early and was so courteous and professional, not just hurrying to hitch the car and go (although he did so expertly and safely) but taking the time to inquire about the issue and our selected service destination (both in terms of overnight parking AND access to timely service). He offered to bring the vehicle to his family shop - no hassle with updating paperwork or unnecessary extra travel on my part - for servicing on Saturday. By the time I arrived at the shop this morning (a little after 8am), the team had already run a diagnostic, told me what I needed, how much it cost and how long it would take. In under 2 hours they called me with an update that the issue (cylinder ignition coil shorted out) was resolved and I was back on the road, problem solved for only $300 and with guaranteed parts. The only thing I would critique is that no one contacted me to confirm drop off at the shop or that they had run a diagnostic and identified the problem. Super minor in the larger scheme of things. Happy to say Im going to make Gemma’s my permanent mechanic.

I drove 3 hours from Pennsylvania to uniondale to spend the weekend with my family and as soon as I got to my family's house I got some car trouble! So I took my vehicle to gemmas and WOW what an amazing experience. In and out within an hour !!!! It was a real pleasure dealing with Joe and his crew very honest and knowledgeable guys i wish there were more people in this world like gemmas !

Today, 7/11, I broke down on the SS during rush hour. I called my insurance company and they told me Gemma's towing company would come and get me estimated time between 45 minutes to an hour. They told me the towing company would call me a few minutes prior to getting to my destination. Gemma's towing showed up way faster than expected. The driver, Nelson was great. He was professional and got my car and myself home safely. I would definitely recommend them. Thank you again!!!

Both exceptional and efficient service. I called a day in advance with an AC issue and spoke to someone and was able to bring in my car the next day. When I came in the next day, I dropped my car off and within 4 hours had my car back. They called to explain what the issue was, how they solved it and how I should address it should it ever come back. In addition to giving me the itemized breakdown prior to retrieving my car. I appreciate this so I know how much the costs are prior to arriving. Father and son business, I found through my AAA membership. Discount was honored and explained. Very professional and quick service! I broke down late one night and AAA towed my car to their garage, and they got everything taken care of for me the very next day! I experienced excellent communication regarding costs and progress every step of the way, so I was never blindsided. My car seems to be running better now than it has in months! I broke down in Garden City while in town for work. AAA recommended Gemma's to me as a good repair shop. Being from Pennsylvania I was afraid I would get NY pricing. Joe called me before any work was done and gave me a very accurate estimate. He did all the work in 1 day and charged a fair price. Just picked up my truck and it's running great. Would have got 5 stars but I was surcharged 3% for paying with credit card.

Jeremias was awesome and arrived in a timely manner. My wait was under a half hour. He eased my anxieties, made me feel better about breaking down on the side of the road and made the experience a comfortable one. Jeremais made sure I stayed cool in the AC in this 90°+ weather.
