Jimmy was great in explaining everything he did to get the job done. I think he could tell I knew a little bit about cars so he didn't dumb anything down which was nice.

There was one "issue" with the timing of their service that I discussed with them, but they quickly went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. This was a true showing of the kind of fair, honest business they operate.

I needed a new place to get my car inspected and have my oil changed. After reading reviews on Google, I decided that Mineola Auto Service Center was a place I should try. The reviews didn't let me down one bit and the place was as great as the reviews say it is.

The service was fast and the customer service was fantastic. I was in and out in under an hour. I was greeted by friendly attendants, and the friendly owner Brian whom I got to chat with for a bit.

I found out that cars can be left at the service center and picked up the following day for simple services or even same day depending on availability. They also offer to drive you back to your home after dropping your car off. If you were like me, you could wait in the convenience store while your car gets serviced. Note that the convenience store serves as a waiting area and office, so there's not a lot of seating, but you do get complimentary coffee.

There was never a feeling that I was going to get taken advantage of. Brian was up front with prices, and didn't try to sell services I didn't need. He was honest and genuinely seemed to care about his profession.

If you're looking for an honest service center that cares about its customers, look no further than Mineola Auto Service Center. The reviews about this place are accurate. I'm definitely going to visit here again for future car servicing needs.

I am absolutely floored at how honest and reputable these guys are. I cannot sing any higher praise for these guys, and the quality of their work is top notch. My previous review of five stars still stands, and I will happily recommend them to anyone who asks me where I get my car serviced.

My only wish is that they were an authorized installer for Tirerack.com's tires. I mention this only because I needed, and wanted specific new tires, and needed an authorized installer. I would have gone with Mineola Auto Service Center for that service as well if they were authorized.

The whole team here at Mineola Auto Service Center is incredible. I had a split in tire due to hitting a pot hole. It took 2 days for the tire to come in, as opposed to 5 days at other shops. Jimmy especially helped me with all my needs and I only had to wait an hour for my tire to be replaced. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone. Top tier service if I say so myself.

Thank god for Jimmy and Brian. Holiday weekend and my car broke down. I had to drive my family out east the following day, Jimmy explained to me in detail what happened, what my car needed now, what can wait. He even showed me in person the issues. I called around to check make sure the prices were fair and to be honest he was the best price I got for a new alternator. Highly recommend this shop, Jimmy and the whole crew are great!!

Great garage. Jimmy takes care of my personal cars as well as my work fleet of ford transits and Chevy express vans. Fast, reliable, reasonable. He goes above and beyond to make sure my vehicles stay on the road… even if that means working late for me! Thanks guys!

Had a screw in my tire and stopped in for help. They had me back on the road in under 15 minutes. Super friendly team, great service, and a clean, professional shop. I really appreciated how quick and easy they made it—will definitely be coming back.

Absolutely amazing, ALL of the workers are attentive and absolutely helpful! Honest and fair, they explained what issues my car has and how they are able to fix it to keep my car in the best shape it can be and other avenues we can explore! I will absolutely be going back!

I have been using Mineola Auto for several years. Jimmy is a pleasure to deal with, having excellent customer service skills and has helped me figure out all kinds of issues with my foreign car. Unfortunately, Brian and the other men there are beyond rude and misogynistic. So today was the last day that I would set foot in that place

These guys are the absolute best.!! My Honda civic was not starting properly . They were able to make my car work as if tho it was new. They were transparent with the time and price and explained everything in detail. They did not over charge and what they charged was worth every penny!!

i work in a doctor office near to this workshop.
2 times i tOOKmy father in laws honda accord 2008 for oil change.and also i did my 4runners reg maintainence last month.he didnt charged me unnecessarily ,onlycharged for whats required for vehicle and to be frank i say after oil change the car was very smooth to drive there is a huge difference is there.that much knowledgable people are there bryam and ass j helped me
it was very convenient all staffs are very greetful with me.id rop off and after my work i took it even though they close at 5 your car will be safe there.until 10pm they are open their will be someone else to take care of it nice place.

They are very conniving. I went in there woke up early in the morning drove down to get an inspection and the first thing he did was look the car up and down looking for anything you can find with a nice brand new big set of tires sitting outside he decided he wanted to tell me before even doing an inspection that my tires won't pass and I need to get new tires otherwise forget it knowing that my inspection is up in a couple days because I told him that and they saw it brand new stack of 10 tires sitting in front of the place of course he's going to say I need new tres. If it wasn't tires it would be wipers and if not wipers it will be something else because they don't make money on inspections define ways to scam people and buying something else to make money nice shop guys

Never used their services, but pulled in to put air in my tire the other day. Asked an employee if I could use the air hose in front of the service bay and before I know it they’re filling it for me. Friendly and helpful employees.

Highly recommend! Have become a regular customer since moving to Long Island and greatly appreciate the superb customer service. Their communication, efficiency, and reliability are top notch!

I highly recommend coming to Mineola Auto Service Center for all your auto needs. I was able to get my car looked at and serviced on the same day and on a busy Friday at that.

Jimmy was very kind and explained everything in a way that was easy to understand. He was also very transparent with me, in other words the issue that he thought the car might be having was not it at all and it was something very minor. The price for services is very fair and I was able to get my car in as little as three hours.

I first came across Mineola Auto Service because i had a low tire. Turned out i had a nail in. Not only was I graciously welcomed, I was serviced in no time to fix the issue and was on my way.
I returned later for a tune up & AC but also was made aware of a future issue to take care of. I've returned several times for inspection , even advice & referral when it was body work needs and I'm glad the information is straight forward, professional and courteous. Brian and Jimmy are nice but this business is VERY manipulative and shady. Went in for a simple install of a speed sensor. Brian showed me a price online of $180 and a couple days later Jimmy called telling me they're able to order it and it'll cost $400 but no guarantee that the piece will work. Long story short, I looked up the piece online and got it off eBay for $20 (yes you read that right) and had another mechanic install it for around $15. Definitely shop around and don't trust anything they say. It's a shame because I used to go to them for over a year...

Mineola Auto staff always show nothing but the highest levels of courtesy, professionalism, speed, and competence without a hint of rudeness or complaining. One time the owner Brian replaced my key fob battery for free on a day I paid for no other service. I know most of them by first name because they are so friendly. They have removed nail punctures on two occasions, changed oil, done emissions inspection, and drove to my job to pick up my previous car that needed a water pump / alternator. Even when crowded, they are polite. It is a testimony to their Middle Eastern--American culture's hospitality. Sometimes I feel like I have pulled into a 1950s station as they pump my gas and wash my windows.

I have been bringing my two cars here for years. They know my cars better than I do.
They stand by their work.
They treat me like family.

Moved to Long Island not long ago and needed to find a new place to service my vehicle. I found this shop on Google with many amazing reviews and figured I would give this place a chance. It was hard trusting a different location with mechanics you dont know, but after visiting here, it's become a clear choice. Brian and his staff are amazing and he makes you feel like family, he pays close attention to all details and makes sure that he tells you with complete transparency what is happening and what you can do. I cant say enough good things about this place, other than if you are concerned about going to a new mechanic maybe this review can help ease those fears.

Had a few issues with my f150 that needed to get taken care of. Brought it into Jimmy and the boys. There mechanic put it up on the lift and was able to show me exactly what was wrong on the spot. Knew it was going to be a couple of days and Jimmy referred me to a rental car place. Overall very happy with how my truck runs after i got it back. Kept me updated through the process. Very professional and quality work. Would recommend.

They are the friendliest mechanics I have ever met. Everyone in the shop is nice and friendly. You feel welcomed the second you walk in. I will definitely refer all my friends and family to this place. They are very fast and thorough with their work. They explained everything to me, down to the tiniest detail. I am grateful I went to them with my car problem. Thank You guys!!!!!

I always bring my car here when it needs work done. The guys are friendly and explain stuff to me. My car is 15 years old and they help me keep it in good shape. Had to get more work than usual done this time but they caught an issue that saved me at the very least least hundreds if not taken care of soon enough. Sometimes my car needs practically no work done so it evens out in the end and does't hurt that it is a short walk for me either! :)

I can't say enough about Brian and his team. I work in the area and have come to Brian for anything from my oil and fluid changes, to tire repairs. Brian is as honest as they come in this business. A perfect example is this: I had bought a new car - same color and model, just a different engine. My second car required a much more specialized filter and oil at a higher price point than what I needed with my previous car, which he realized right away. Before doing ANYTHING, Brian stopped to alert me to the change, went as far as to prove to me the difference between the requirements for each car based on manufacturer's listed requirements, and obtained my permission to proceed. Other service centers would likely have proceeded without warning me at all. They are courteous, patient and fast! If I drop my car off before work for these services, I will have it before I leave for the day, and they offer to drive you to your office in your car! Brian, Jimmy and the whole crew are awesome! Service is truly top notch!

Great place, great service. Fair prices. The owner as well as his workers will NEVER jap you. They'll never lie to you just to make a quick buck. The workers are always honest, they'll tell you exactly what needs to be worked on and what doesn't and will call you and run everything by you before touching the car. The workers operate in a timely fashion as well, I've never had to leave my car overnight. Will recommend this place to everyone. Definitely a 5 star hit.
