So pleased with our windshield replacement experience with Active Auto Glass! Our initial exchange on the phone with Nancy was simple and pleasant, and arrangements were made within a day for them to replace it in our driveway. Staff was so helpful and easy to work with. Couldn't ask for better service!

It took over 3 weeks for 1 screen to be repaired. We live behind this store and thought it would be convenient. My husband brought the screen over and was told the person who fixed them was out but they would work on it when they got back beginning of next week. They never called to say the screen was ready. They gave my husband a hard time when he went in to inquire about it like I he was bothering them. Said if he wasn't called, it wasn't done. (Btw it was done). Then there was a phone call from the owner asking the employee if she was ok. Minute after he started conversing with her. My husband is even tempered, laid back, and non confrontational. I guess the owner saw he was biracial on the camera, and that apparently made him scared for the female employees' safety. (He could hear the whole conversation) Oh, by the way, my husband works for Suffolk County jail system she was probably safer with him in there. We will drive elsewhere the next time we need a screen fixed or buy the materials online and do it ourselves next time since it isn't thay hard. Good customer service goes a long way. Unfortunately, that's not what we received here. Very unfortunate.

perfect job on my 1990 Volvo 740 turbo windshield. All of the original moldings were restored intact and undamaged. thank you.

Why should you use active glass. First they are local business. Second, they use quality replacement if not oem windshields. Not the inferior ones that companies like satellite uses. James the owner gives 100% to make sure the job is done right and stands behind his work. I highly recommend this business for glass and screen repairs.

Outstanding customer service! Extremely knowledgeable and talented technician! Could not have found a better glass shop to replace my Mercedes S550 windshield. They even installed a genuine Mercedes windshield, and it was fully covered by my insurance. From the inspection sticker to the registration sticker to the EZ Pass toll piece you cannot even tell the windshield was replaced. And the windshield camera was recalibrated perfectly. Highly recommend.

Active auto glass is excellent. Extremely easy to work with. Replaced my windshield and did a great job. Went there on a Monday, Nancy did all the coordinating with my insurance company and ordered the glass. I dropped off on Wednesday morning and it was done by the afternoon. Easier than getting a cup of coffee. Forget about using safelite, and go here.

Excellent shop. Not sure of his name, but he fixed my daughter's Lexus ES350 windshield when it was hit with a baseball. He even fixed the rain-sensing wipers, as they had not worked prior to the crack. Super nice guy. They told me it would be ready by end of business, and it was. Awesomely clean job as well. Highly recommend!

I had the best experience, the staff is phenomenal and very helpful. Nancy went above and beyond to setup my appointment and within the next two business days the team was at my job’s parking lot replacing my windshield. They explained everything in detail and worked very fast. I will recommend Active glass to anyone!

Everyone here is amazing !!!! I have a classic cadillac, and 3 places said they couldn’t replace the windshield without destroying the original chrome trim and replace it with cheap rubber. They were able too get it done !!!!! And it looks amazing. Everyone was super helpful and wonderful to communicate with.

After searching around to find a shop to replace one of my door glass, I stumbled upon Active Auto Glass. My experience with James and his staff has been beyond words. From calling to see if they can fit me in in 30 minutes from the call on the same day to the end of service. Couldn’t have been more grateful to have had a chat with James while he was installing my window and the knowledge that he has with auto glass and his experience is not something you find a lot here in New York. Recently brought my Z06 Corvette in to replace a cracked windshield. Being extremely nervous to replace the windshield after looking online how it’s done, a good friend of mine, owner of an auto body repair shop, told me that James from Active glass should be the only person to do the job. After talking to James and the pleasant office staff I brought my car in for the repair. I picked up my car yesterday after the job was completed and I couldn’t of been any happier with the quality of the job! I highly recommend this company and James to anyone needing glass repair. His experience and knowledge is comforting and very hard to come by these days.

This shop did amazing work, I installed a a cowl in my 1970 cadillac deville. They dont make reproductions for this car so it was a chopped up 1969 Camaro cowl that I pieced together with other sheet metal. It wasnt perfect but it was close. They were able to fix the gasket area a little and install a windshield. Happened fast and they did a great job. Will recommend and will go back if and when I need glass

I have to tell you that the costumer service here is amazing, from the beginning when I placed a call they were very absolutely helpful, I got a broken car window and it never happened to me before, I didn’t have any idea of what to do, but they walked me through the whole process, they were also patient we got the claim done and the day they replaced the glass it took like 15 mins. Omg I couldn’t even believe it. If I will need anything glass related this is the location I will always go, again great costumer service, people here is really polite and friendly! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Thank you very much for all your help.

Chip in Windshield. Called and asked before making appointment confirmed chip would not show. After he completed the job he came in and told me, you will see the outline of the chip, but the glass was sealed and would not spread. This was NOT what I asked for fixed and invisible is what I was promised. It was Not.

Had my Crosstreks windshield replaced here a few weeks ago. Waited to review it in case anything happened. Had absolutely no issues. They were even able to salvage my inspection sticker. Will hopefully never be back, but wouldn't go anywhere else for glass replacement!

Very pleasant person handling the phones. She offered to wait for me to drop off my vehicle vs telling me to come tomorrow. It was after 5:00pm. The service was as expected. No issues. Just a few pics of glass in the car. It was not a big deal. I would use them again. Thanks.

I brought my car in to repair a crack on a Saturday before a long trip. Nancy phoned to tell me the car on my insurance was not the same as my car - something I had not noticed on my insurance card that I had carried around for almost a year! She did not send me away to get it straightened out, but spent literally hours on the phone with my insurance company until every detail was cleared up! I didn't think of it, but she even arranged for them to e-mail me corrected insurance cards so I would not be driving illegally. She really went out of her way. And the repaired windshield was great, too.

I had to replace my windshield, it had a crack, and I had just been informed by my insurance company that I didn't have glass coverage. Regardless it had to be replaced. I was told by the insurance company that i should go to Safelite and since I wasn't covered that the I would be responsible for the cost, the quote from safelite was $460, that was crazy so i told my insurance that I was going to get my own quotes from other places. I found Active Auto Glass and then when speaking with a friend, he mentioned, he had used them before and the price and service was excellent. I called, got a quote, which was almost half the price that I was quoted from Safelite which was recommended by my Insurance company. I called, was quoted over the phone and had an appointment for the next morning. They also would have come to me but i wanted to see their shop and since i was close to East Meadow. I was impressed with not only the service but the attitude of everyone that I spoke to. James asked me into the back and to look at some issues that were the result of a previous replacement and mentioned to me that he would correct any problems and I would be good to go. i was originally told that it would take about two hours and I was out of there in two hours. I highly recommend Active Auto glass and found them the be professional and knowledgeable. I don't think that people realize that you do not need to use who your insurance company always recommends.
