One of the best decisions I've made was to go to Gladstone for car repairs. Drew and Phil are genuinely nice guys and care about their customers. I trust them to give me a heads up if I am going to need repair "soon, but not yet". They are safety minded and won't let you be unsafe, but at the same time understand you can't always do all that is needed at one time. They are timely, and the quality of the work is superior. As a single woman who is not all that familiar with cars I am uncomfortable talking about repairs. I have never felt mocked or shamed for anything when taking my vehicle in. With Gladstone I never have to worry about getting sold something I don't need.
They also care their community! They hold food drives for local food pantries! Doing business with locally owned business pays off in many ways!!

We were recently traveling from Watertown NY to Pittsburgh PA. Our Toyota sequoia started making a loud noise at high speeds and we had to exit the interstate. Not knowing the area, we were heading for the Toyota dealership. We saw Gladstone and pulled in. We explained the situation and they had our car on the lift in 10 minutes. They were able to fix the problem so we could continue on our way. Super friendly and great service! Highly recommend! Thanks again guys!
I’ve had my car inspected here and other work done. They’re really nice, easy to work with, quick, and even made sure my car was okay for a trip. They go the extra mile for people here. This is the best shop I’ve been to, I’m extremely satisfied with everything they’ve done for me here.
I was in a bind after my vehicle wrongly failed inspection at one of the "20-minute places". The new owners got me in right away and explained to me why my vehicle should have passed inspection. They happily assisted me right on the spot without an appointment, right before the holidays. They were both extremely kind and helpful. They will be getting my business from now on. Highly recommend!
Fantastic place run by fantastic guys. This is the shop you want to go to. My dad has been coming here for like 40+ years and I for at least 6+. My tire stem broke at a pretty bad time and they got me in and fixed it on such short notice. This has happened twice to me so far and this shop has saved the day both times. I can’t recommend this shop enough.
So grateful to the men who run this business for being honest and trustworthy. I knew right away after speaking to the owner on the phone that I made the right choice in calling them to repair my daughter’s brakes. They were fair and communicative through the entire process. For as long as my daughter is in the area, we won’t take her car anywhere else.

Long story:
The girlfriend took her car to pepboys for leaking transmission fluid. I already found the leak and it needed new lines. Pepboys said it would be like 500 dollars to repair and said the parts would cost like 200 or more a line (forgot exact prices since this was last year). So I wanted a second opinion and called up gladstone thanks to all my neighbors on the nextdoor app recommending them. They were able to get the parts and do the work for half the price of what the parts alone costed at pepboys. And here is the kicker.. gladstone bought the parts from the same place pepboys ordered them from, this means pepboys LIED about how much the parts were...
So I now take all of our vehicles here to be serviced and inspected. Highly recommend!

Gladstone's is by far the best mechanic in the greater Rochester area (IMO). I've been taking my care there since 1996 and I've always been treated fairly and been provided with exceptional service at a great price. As a woman that had a dad that fixed all her car woes growing up, and especially as a young woman starting college as I was then, it meant a lot to me to find a place that I could trust in a new city. John and Don have never let me down, and they have gotten me out of a jam more times than I can count. I will never hesitate to recommend them to anyone, and even now living near Irondequoit, I still make the time to take my car out to them in Henrietta when I need service. You will not regret using their services!
