Visited to have my car battery charged and they told me I have to bring it in. I agree that they don't have in front of store services like Wipper change and battery charge assist and they do seem to be a little short of staff. But then it was like my second time visiting the location.
Nice store, but only staffed by 2 associates and they don't offer any services such as battery replacements, wiper replacement or any customer service outside the facility while there is only 2 members inside.
Autozone would benefit by staffing additional employees to assist customers.

I returned back to the same location and had my battery replaced by Richard who was amazing. Still 1 star down because of the unnecessary travel time and weak staffing.
Just stopped in to get some antifreeze before I got on the road in the afternoon. I called the night before to see if they had any coolant that was compatible with my car and the gentleman I spoke with said yeah so I went the following day and the shelf was empty. I spoke with a lady (didn’t get her name) at the front and she seemed like the manager but I explained to her that I needed coolant and she walked me over and the shelf was empty. Long behold she told me to wait while she checks to see if they have any more and after 5 mins of waiting, she came out and found one for me. I am thankful to her for going out of the way to help me out because some places or people would just tell you that they’re out of stock and the refill when you leave. So Thank You to that lady who helped me yday as she was also very polite.
Yes I appreciate the service I received from Marlon at AutoZone the earlier today they sold me the wrong parts the items I had to take a uber back and forth spend money I did not have doing my daughter's car and I stumble upon supervisor Marlon and I was stressed out when I first got there but he basically took the situation under Quality Care and did the right thing and made everything right and make me laugh leave out this place a happy camper so I want to say praises to Marlon for being that person that has customers in mind not just business so if this will help Marlon is future working at AutoZone I will highly appreciate all staff in management reflect on what I'm saying because I am customer and I am praising this person for straighten out that bad situation thank you so much and have a good day
There were several customers waiting for service, but the employees were all huddled around, talking among themselves about nonsense.
The employees do not want to serve the customers.
Rats and other rodents scurry, employees should not be scurrying. No matter how many employees this location has, unprofessionalism, long wait times, and incompetence continue to prevail and is one of the worst locations to go to. I placed an online order for pickup in-store for batteries for my car remote and not only did it take them over 2 hours to fill a simple order when I arrived at this location, but I also waited in line for over 10 minutes during this time the store lead in front of all the customers shouted: "Marley you gotta move faster bro".
You don't call an employee like that out you pull him/her to the side and have that conversation, and then this same supervisor stormed outside, and before he exited the store, he was like, "I'm going to call the police if these people don't move their car."
When I got to the counter Marley asked me a dumb question did I receive a confirmation that my order was ready I told him yea if he scanned the barcode in the email he would have known what my order was, my name, and all the other pertinent information instead of asking me a million questions.
Moving forward, I am going to Advanced Autoparts I am not dealing with this location anymore. They need to shut down this location, fire everyone, and start fresh with new employees from the ground up!
Is this a mechanic's shop or a store? I waited five minutes to park because it was full of mechanics working in the parking lot. It's not possible! Is there a manager there?
Kevin! And Soli! Absolute great people. ! They greeted me soon as I walked in! Asked me what I was working on and got me the parts I needed and recommended other items of interest! Absolutely earned my business will return soon! Love this place! Need more people like them!
I had an amazing customer service experience at AutoZone on Burnside Ave this evening with Danny and Soly! I needed a battery and Danny installed it for me, even though they were short staffed! Because of their kindness and professionalism, I won't have to worry about getting to work in the morning! Thanks team!
Horrible place... They have a issue with black people going in there to buy car parts. As soon as me and my hubby went in the manger set off an alert saying this place is being monitored. We go to the cash out and when we try to walk out the alarm rang off. I will never again go there and spend my hard earned money again!
The staff member that I interacted with was rude. If they didn't have what I needed without any assistance I would have given them negative stars. Definitely the worse autozone I've even been in.
Soly Diaz and Kevin were great help with helping my mom change out her battery. They went above and beyond to deliver great service and make sure her car is good for the winter.
I am quite pleased with my experience at AutoZone because I was assisted by Marlon who was exceptional. He is a truly professional employee with a very nice personality. I am most pleased
Malik is very pleasant and helpful. I needed a lense for the passenger side mirror. I checked online before coming to the store and it was going to take too long for delivery. Malik assisted in ordering it to have it delivered to this location. Thanks MALIK for being so awesome
I have been to the Auto Zone of Lawrence in Inwood many many times …I wanted to commend Kevin Robinson , he is the commercial sales manager if you ever have an issue with your car he is the go to person …He is terrific patient well mannered and very knowledgeable , Thank you for your great service keep it up …..
Solymar assisted me today and let me say, she was just a joy! She was so attentive to the issue I was having. I needed assistance with taking the bolts off my engine to replace the engine filter, but the rust was giving me a hard time. I decided to go to AutoZone, to see if I could get some assistance with the right tool to help. Soly literally was more than willing to do the job for me and did not complain. I felt so bad because everyone needed her attention, but she still assisted with my issue with a smile on her face, and care in her heart. I appreciate that! So often people act as if they do not want to work, but AutoZone has some good workers at this location.
Also, Kevin's personality is also giving!! He was totally attentive as well and super funny!
Danny is also a great worker. It's always a pleasure when I need anything and he's there to help.
Overall, this location has gotten better with the customer service and it's now a pleasure to come down and get what I need.

Stood on line at the register for several minutes, while the employees were having conversations about clothing. Only after they finished talking did they attend to me. At which point I decided to wait for someone else. To serve my needs.
On 3/16 came to purchase an item. Brought it to the register to Clive (when I was called.up). "Hey, how are you doing!?" Totally ignored. Um, ok.. So.. It was scanned and costed $20 more than I expected. So I asked, "are you sure?" I just saw it online at this store for $20 less. Clive said, "so buy it online then." Wow, ok.. Then I looked it up again on my phone and realized it was a different version of the item. "My mistake, do you have this one in stock?". The reply was, "I don't know, go look for it." Oh kayyyy... I went and looked for it, found it, paid for it and left. If I didn't really need it at the moment I would have went elsewhere to spend my money. Maybe someone should touch base with this gentleman to find out if something is bothering him. He didn't seem too enthusiastic about working on this particular day. Honestly, I wouldn't have even bothered with a review if it wasn't for the, "go look for it" reply.
Went to Autozone to purchase windshield wiper blades. I had no clue the size I needed. Brandon was so helpful and quickly was able to tell me the size and give a cost effective option based on quality of the product. Brandon must have sensed I needed some assistance and offered to install them for me in the pouring rain. He was kind, courteous and really went above and beyond. He made my day! You really don’t get customer service like that anymore and his kindness was so appreciated!! Thank you Brandon!!
Called this store for help in regards to helping me find out what happened to my $415.00. I placed , I was sent a cancellation email explaining little to close to no explanation on why order was cancelled. Management and service support both sis not help me at all. I was placed on hold three times with no assistance. I will be contacting elites that will assist me in this situation .
I was lucky enough to be helped by the store manager (I forgot her name) about 2 months ago. She was friendly and so helpful. She knew which wipers my car needed and even installed them for free! Thank you for your care and time.

Yesterday I came in to this location and I was looking for something to clean my fuel, Tyler provided the best assistance to help me find the right cleanser for my car. He explained it in details so I can understand, he needs a raise. One of the most nicest staff at this auto zone location hands down!!!
I should sue for false advertisements of your business. They advertise through both commercials and on the front of their stores that they do "free scans" yet I was told by their employees at this store in Lawrence (NY) that their diagnostic reader device was "broken". Again, "broken"! They have a whole bunch in the store that they could take out of the packaging and use, but no! They told me they could still do the diagnostic check though I would have to "pay" for the diagnostic reader which cost me over $45.00 (have to look for the receipt that I saved but I know it was more than that). I couldn't believe it! The young man that helped me was very nice; however, his colleague was very sarcastic and unprofessional. After, I "paid" for the diagnostic reader device THAT I SHOULD NOT HAVE HAD TO PAY FOR CONSIDERING THEY ADVERTISE THAT THE SCANS ARE FREE the kind young man did the scan for me. The principle is that "it was supposed to be FREE"! I want my money back!
The worst experience ever. First they have a sign over air fresheners that says '2 for 5' selected choices, over all the choices. Then I get to the register for the employee to tell me, no that's not what's on sale, and pulls out a small box from behind the counter, as if I'm supposed to know it's not what's advertised on the wall but behind the counter ones. Finally I asked to speak with a manager, and he called over a Kevin, who's attitude is the worst as well, and he tells me, 'if you read the sign, it's selected one and that's why I brought over the box because it's the only ones in the box' none if which are flavors a consumer would want. But what is even more infuriating is the tone he spoke to me as if I can't read and I was a bother to him and the store. I'll never shop there or tell anyone about shopping there, the member service is horrible and employees don't care. Bad bad horrible member service .....
Picked up some wipes plus some carpet cleaner and met an amazing lady who is a worker there .. didn't even get her name ... but she's really nice and helpful
