I don't hail too much in for recycling. But when I do, I always bring it to Green Wave. The yard is cleaned up. You can drive around and not have to work about catching a nail or screw in my tires. The people here might have taken a couple of visits to remember my name. Lol. But they always have a smile even on them stressful busy days. And are eager to please like an old trust dog.. My truck has a nice tailgate on it now thanks to Green Wave and the few times I have checked the Web to see what the prices are worth the competition green wave has given the better price. They are open to 5 on weekdays. So I can load my truck the day before. And run it over the scales after I get out of work the next day. I even showed up after they closed (by like 2-3 hours) one weekend. They where doing some extra clean up after hours, and the said no body. We will get ya taken care of. Made me feel privileged. And that keeps me coming back. That being said. BILLY BOB signing off.
I used to take all my scrap here But the guy messes around He will tell you to be there at this time and then he won’t show up. He won’t answer. I just waited down there for 40 minutes for him. And the whole time they were in there working, but the gates were closed So from now on, I’ll take my business somewhere else
Terrible company to do business with. It’s been over a month since Ed picked up a dumpster of scrap and an old truck. I still haven’t been paid. He kept assuring me the check was in the mail. I still haven’t received it. He then said he would PayPal me last week. I still haven’t gotten that either. Now he isn’t returning texts or calls. Do not do business with these guys!
My uncle died in Oct 2022, my mother is handling his estate. As she was overwrought and grieving, I contacted Green Wave to come take a look at the 2 barns, 5 vehicles and tractor. Uncle D was a hoarder so there were 13 riding lawnmowers, as many air compressors and snowblowers, motors, wire, metal, wood etc. When we talked to Ed Taylor, he assured us that he'd be able to handle it and it would take a couple of weeks to get it broom clean. He explained that we probably wouldn't make much, if anything on it as it was a lot of work, but we might come out a bit ahead. As we are not from the area, we really were only concerned that it would get done. He sent us a contract and we returned it in early Nov 2022. He said that he would give us a receipt of cost and weights for metal.
Well, anything metal is gone, but the work is still not done as of June 2023, Ed had excuses, lies and deception. He sent 1 picture of a clean corner and said "almost done". Since then we've had others go look and it's still a mess. We've never seen a receipt, or weigh tag. My elderly mother is now concerned that she will have to come out of pocket to pay another company to finish the work. Stay away from this company; in my opinion they robbed the estate.
Polite and friendly staff! Plus they have the highest prices right now for scrap metal! $700 guaranteed for a complete unwanted vehicle! Highly recommend checking the place out! You won't be disappointed!
Excellent service. Friendly, helpful staff. Paying better than other local yards. Convenient location. Easy to navigate through the lot. Highly recommended.
