Great unload time you will run into low clearance mark bridges on the way but your fine with standard trailer they are mark marked wrong or not updated no overnight parking
START FROM JIMS TRUCK STOP GO 4.3 MILES THEN TURN ON CENTRAL AVENUE U WILL SEE SPEEDWAYS ON LEFT .ON CENTRAL AVENUE YOU WILL SEE 3 LOW BRIDGES BEFORE THE 4 BRIDGE TURN RIGHT ON THE SCALE..13.2 13.0 12.9 ALL WILL FIT 13.6 TRUCK BUT THE CITY SHOULD CHANGE THE SIGNS S9 THE DRIVERS WILL NOT WORRY OF OT
The prior review was correct. I just wanted to add a note. The bridges that the review was referring are all marked lower than they actually are. Trust me you will fit. I just pulled a 13' 6" trailer through and it fit. This is my first trip to NY. I heard their bridges are marked 1ft shorter than they actually are?
Just to confirm, 13’ 6” trailers are safe to travel south on Central Avenue! From I-90, go east on Walden to a right turn on Central. Jim’s Truck Plaza may be a GOS set point to get you on to Walden. Do not miss their driveway, as bridges past their facility are not confirmed safe. Scale in and out, do not arrive before 0800 hours. No parking on site allowed. The lady in the office/check-in window up the stairs is a little grouchy. Truck GPS‘s will not navigate you here correctly, as Central Avenue is not a truck route, only local deliveries are allowed.
One star deducted for the grumpy, short tempered lady. Lord forbid people should be friendly and helpful on the job! The guys on the docks were efficient and easy to get along with, thankfully.
Had to deliver 17 skids, they got me right into a dock an started to unload almost right away, my trailer was empty an i was leaving there property in less then 1hr.

If you are coming here your GPS will not route you on Central Ave due to low bridges. Not a problem. Come off of Walden Ave and go south on Central Ave. You will go under 3 low bridges that a standard trailer ( 13’ 6” ) will fit no problem. Company will be on the right side before the 4th low bridge that you will definitely not fit under. Fast unloading. In and out.
Fast loading 15min but hard to get to exact location, I came from S Central Ave, there is signs for low clearance 13.2 and 13.1 you can drive there not problem for 13.6 trailer.
