Myself and my girlfriend went to Rick trusted him knowing he said with 30 years experience of service a church man as well sold us rig push buttons to open my trunk and to operate my wipers and now my engine light is on there goes 6,200$ of family life insurance policy from a deceased family member we trusted Rick but just gave us the usual salesman line I don’t recommend buying from him I will be reporting him to DMV for failing unsafe inspection that he did

If i could put negative stars i would. My best friend got a car from here, within the first month she had issues. So she took it back, they "fixed" it and sent her on her way. Fast forward 6mos shes had nothing but issues. She had just finished paying it off ($6k) and they had it towed to the shop (she had hit a deer). To where they did $1500 of work on it, told her it was ready for pickup. On her way out to get it they call and say "the engine was blown". They then tell my best friend "bring us $150 for the tow and title" to which she had to get a new car before hand so she could still get to and from work, he proceeds to whine about how hes out of $1500. Honestly..... this place is THE WORST!! I highly recommend you do NOT get any kind of vehicle from them!

Bought a used truck and it runs and drives great, the buying experience was smooth and easy. Rick's a great guy, I would buy from him again. Thank you Thurnherrs!

I should of never bought car from Rick he said no problems spent almost 6000 and went pick it up wouldn't start he went got battery it broke down down road he sold it to me with gas leak oil leak than try charge me its under warranty and he said bring it it in I fix it gave it back with same problems and worse told me drive it with tank half 4 and keep airing tires up my tire blew out don't buy from him all lemons he told me he shouldn't of let me drive it or sold it after purchasing and won't refund money I have his texts and pictures he scam artist

We were in need of some help. We referred to Rick from a friend. He was able to get us into a car and made it affordable for us. Gave us a loyalty guarantee. Tell tour friends.

I recommend Thurnherrs Automotives to everyone the owner very respectful efficient and honest anything you need done they will do it in a timely manner any problem I had Rick the owner always fixed it the same always worked with me very helpful when u need your on the road.

I have buying from and having my vehicles repaired at Thurnherrs Automotive for the past eighteen years. During this entire time I have been treated with the utmost professionalism by Rick and his staff. I would recommend them to everyone. The atmosphere at his shop is very friendly and customer oriented. He goes above and beyond to take care of his customers needs. I am very satisfied.

1 star is too many! Bought a car there 6 months ago for $5k. A week later the check engine light came on. Its been back there multiple times to fix multiple issues and have since spent $1500 more. I'm done. Wish I would have read these reviews first. FML

Went to this place today looking for a car that is needed to get to and from work. I spoke with Chris and and upon talking with him he states that people from the city only come to him if they won money at the casino in or on lottery tickets. They had a add up for a Chevy Impala with a 1000.00$ down payment. But when I questioned the amount of down payment he stated it was 1500.00$ and the car advertised was not available he said he had a nother one in my price range but he would be able to get it ready until the middle of next week and that I would also pay for the inspection. I was judged by my appearance and the car I had to borrow to go out there

Bought a car from them and the very next year when the inspection was due was told that the frame was rotted and would never pass inspection. So much for Thurnherrs Christian values...they sell junk, then slap a sticker on it. Do not buy from them.

We bought a first car for our son about a month ago... the car encountered 2 major problems one with transmission which Rick replaced at no charge to us and the other with the power steering which Rick also took care of again no cost to us. Rick was professional and kept in contact with us about the vehicle.. when we picked up the vehicle he would always show and explain what was done on the car. He is all about customer service and making sure the customer is satisfied.. thank you Rick for everything.

I have purchased 2 vehicles from him. The first was a truck about 4 years ago. I still have it and it runs fine. I just recently brought my son in for a car. It has been a month and no problems so far. I bought them both with cash so I don't know how the credit works here. If your looking for a car they are not bad. Problem is I just brought my other truck in for some work. I was quoted between $500 and $600 to weld a part of the frame and replace the gas tank straps. It ended up costing me just shy of $900. This is the weld job I received for that money.

I was looking for a car since mine was a lost cause. I went to different place and I could not get one. I finally went Thrunherrs Rick the owner help me out so much I finally got a car. Since then if I have any issues with the car Rick really helps me out. It amazing.

I've got a few cars off him. They run great. He's been there any time I had any trouble. I wouldn't buy a car from anyone else. He's honest and really takes care of his customers.

Rick and his staff are the kindest and most caring guys. Always treat me with respect and are dignity. Honest working Christian guy with a family environment. Fair prices and fast service.

No problem at all with Thurnherrs...will buy again for sure...great place for folks with less than perfect credit. 0% financing, no credit needed...yeah the cars are a little older, but these folks are doing people a favor...they gamble on you, and that's great to see.

One star is one 2 many Do yourself a favor go elsewhere I never made it home from picking up my Van from their repair shop and had to pull over about 20 miles shy of my home Then call AAA to tow my car to my house as RicK shop by that time closed. With all that I had gone througj..far 3 many details 4 me to get into I talked with Rick a few days after in the hopes he would offer a solution that was acceptable. He wanted me to drive my van up the road and tell triple AAA that it broke down there again pretend I took care of issue so they would pick up cost of towing As once AAA tow it they will not tow from place they just towed it to How honest is that I told him I wasn't going to do that That God would not approve. That was just one of many red flags... So ultimately I decided to junk my Van as I didn't know what was wrong with it I tried my best but decided against trusting another auto repair shop and deff not Thurnherrs So I sadly junked The man I junked my van 2 sent me pictures of the problem it was the drivers front wheel bearing was do bad it fell apart in the man's hand that I junked it too I have a receipt that they put 2 new tires on thefront driver n passenger side my van How did they not see the wheel bearing I can't prove but I have a text from the man that picked up my vehicle 4 junk that the bad wheel bearing indeed had new grease in they knew the bearing was going n the stimulus money was rounding the cornet Shady business tactics Can't prove but my receipt also say cleaned and adjusted wheel bearing seems very possible they fixed. The bad wheel bearing by swapping it out with my good wheel bearing on the drivers side and packing the bad one with grease. Got pictures and text testimony as proof Can u say ... Old School SHISTER !!! Haventt figure out how 2 post pictures but will if Thurnherrs disputes my post

My husband bought a car from here never again. He claims to fix things that never get fixed, had to take it to a real shop costed me almost 2700 to fix it the truck wasn't even worth it. Don't get me started on the payments he never takes them out right leaving you end up trying to figure it out but he never has a clear answer. Has every excuse why he is taking more money earlier then you agreed upon. Don't go here the cars are all lemons and the man is a joke

I had put a $1,000 down payment for a 2005 Mitsubishi Eclipse. Basically where I’m getting at is this place is really terrible. People are right about this location. Not only the owner rick kept saying his vehicle is good or great. 3 weeks of him and his mechanics tries to give this car a inspection sticker. They didn’t do a 100% safety check. I have pictures and documents from what the car look underneath after they put a sticker on the windshield. This is not a private owner. This is a dealership for crying out loud. I couldn’t drive the car on little to nothing snow on the road. Front passenger control arm was rotted and a big whole in it. Tie rod needed in drive front. Ball joints wasn’t properly install . Driver rear strut look completely rotted from underneath. I completely sprung out in the middle of the road 2 times with that car on the road. Just that itself is a violation to the lemon law here in the United state. The car needed tow services twice which I paid for and have receipts. The time I lost from work and now I’m jobless. This Rick Thurnherr think that he will get away with this. He will be notified in a few days. I like the way he kept saying he tried to help people. This is where I take further action and making sure they will removed his license and shut him down as soon as possible. He first told me good luck before I drove the car out his lot. Now I wanna say the same to you rick. GOODLUCK.

Giving this "Business" a 1 star is probably a complement, DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE! These people do not care about you or what you leave in, NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS at this place will not be returning for future purchases, The car broke down in a week.. Wheres the ? law when you need it..?!

I bought an 94 lexus..."yes an 94" 3 years ago and I'm still driving it...he has done all my inspections with little to no notice...he is a good family man and not a bad pool player too

I just bought my 2nd vehicle from Rick a couple months ago and love it. Rick and his staff will bend over backwards to take care of your vehicle when needed. Rick has one of the best buy here pay here plans in all of Western New York.

All I can say is WOW!!! My 20 year old son was looking for a truck and Rick Thurnherr was a pleasure to work with. To say he was kind and patient is an understatement. 2 months later my son totaled the same truck and Rick went above and beyond. He really has a genuine heart. Any bad review you read of this company; I beg you to call Rick and get the REAL facts because there is no way this man is capable of screwing anyone over. Thank you so much to Rick and his staff for ALWAYS going above and beyond.

This Man Is A Joke. Buys Cars From Auctions and Sells Them Immediately Without Performing ANY Maintnance. Have All Receits And Paper Work. 4 Days After Taking Car Off Lot My Driver Side Wheel Literally Fell Off. i Have Pics To Prove And Tripple A Who Toed My Car Can Contest. Took To My Machanic (Also Have Paper Work) and After A Diagnostics He Found 10 Problems with 5 Of Them That Shouldnt Have Passed Inspection. So How Did You Inspect It Rick??? He Puts On A Nice Guy "We Are All About Customer Service" Front But If You Have a Problem He Flips The Script. After my Wheel Fell off Which Left My Car In The Middle of An Intersection not To Mention If That Happened On The Highway I Would Have Died And The 10 Problems Wich I Can Prove, I Asked For My Money Back. He Made It A Big Deal And Thought I Was Beeing Unfair. HOW CUS I DONT WANT TO DRIVE A CAR THAT ALMOST KILLED ME. HE DOESN'T CARE. STAY AWAY FROM HIM. IF U CAN CONTACT ME I CAN PROVE ALL I SAID.

Just bought a Palamino Stampede from Rick. Absolutely love it! He was very accommodating, showing it to us on his day off. Extremely satisfied, beautiful camper, great price - will be doing business with him again!

This guy is an P.O.S. we had a Blowout after only 2 months of having this P.O.S. Chevy aveo and this IDIOT Rick did NOT want to fix the Tire and as you can tell and when we called him he yelled at me and my husband this guy is very mean and sells JUNK Cars that he probably buys off Craigslist he's lucky I did not take his ass to court for selling us unsafe car not once but twice so you can say whatever you want to make yourself look good Rick but me my husband and GOD know you're an IDIOT SO believe me everybody this guy will RIP YOU OFF
