I called for the price of romex wire with the sheathing on and I was told 35 cents a pound, then I called Niagara metals right around the corner and they're paying 95 cents a pound. I went to Niagara metals it was quick, clean and friendly and I didn't feel like I was getting ripped off, buyer beware at twin village because their prices suck!

Firstly, I am very grateful that I had the opportunity to work in such an extraordinary and interesting place. I don't usually like to work in an office or a mundane or strict type of setting. When I started working in TVR, I was impressed by how different it is compare to others jobs. The way my bosses treated me and my coworkers was extremely warm and respectful. There was an atmosphere that made me feel like we were all part of one big family. My boss and his employees had a two ways street relationship. He is very grateful to his employees, display excellent leadership and always took care of them by giving many benefits. My coworkers were always very professional and talent people, who were always ready to land a helping hand. Our clients were always very respectful and polite people, they never caused any issues. The majority of our clients are for a very long time, they come and see us every day. Our visitors are all very different. They range from big businesses to those who want to clean a garage).That was very easy to get a long and speak to them. Twin Village Recycling always valued their clients and don't hesitate to give gifts to them!! And The Best Deals!! Our Clients, coworkers, my bosses, all made me feel happy to come in back to work every week! Thanks!!

I recently had an old car picked up. I made three calls to them because we had no title and another problem. Everyone was very nice and helpful. William, who dragged our car out of the garage, was so nice and very pleasant. No complaints here!

Went there after 5 was told buy the owner that he doesn't have to use the machine to unload me though I sign the waiver. he refused steal cable and basically said customers have it easy and he's got it hard. Left there twice with with metal stuck in my 10 ply tires cause they don't clean their pothole filled dirt driveway. multiple times had to correct my receipt because they'll give you sheet metal for engine blocks. also the only scrap yard that gives you dirty aluminum for having a 3 ft piece of copper pipe mixed in 1000 lbs of aluminum.

Love the place, just wish there was a visible scale to see the weight as I pull in and pull out. Other than that the employees are always nice so I usually leave any leftover change as a tip, keep up the good work, see you bright and early tomorrow!

I worked there 2 days I understand they have a business yo run buy I am not working 7 days a week and I'm not coming in at 8 am and going home when I am told I can . Sorry weekends are for family and I like to know when i pinch in when i am leaving voild never make plans or have a life outside of this place i noticed real quick so shortest job I ever stayed 2 days . Pay was good I will say that . And only other complaint the drunk Russian or what ever he was that worked there additude and a half. If they had 8 to 4 monday friday and a Saturday here or there I would go back but for now I will stay away.

Seller beware , I turned in carbide and got 2.00 per pound , national average is 5.90 . Thankyou for your snarky reply, at best misleading. I didn't call you, I came in good faith that I wouldn't be taken for a proverbial ride and I don't think 33 pounds is that small of an amount . Maybe it is to you but whatever. One thing that you can be certain of is that I will not be coming back AND I will voice my opinion to everyone that will listen. Word of mouth is still a driving force. Maybe I'll voice my thoughts on other media .

Very rude customer service lady on the phone.

I went on a Sunday and only brought in aluminum. The guy in there was not willing to advise or wait to sort my stuff. I know you get different prices on cast or sheet plus radiators. He ended up having me throw all in bin !!!

Terrible customer service, the guy who was supposed to put the stuff on the scale made me do it which I didn’t mind but he seemed very angry, when he told me to put the various types of metals in the bins, he said put in that one and was rude about it and he seemed very impatient and when i was unloading he was saying Next Next, implying me to move faster, I could understand if it was busy and if there was a line of cars but i was the only one unloading at the time. He never smiled once which isn’t good customer service, when I worked at Walmart I smiled at everyone which in effect hopefully made their day better. I was there today at 2pm. And aren’t the commercials implying that there are “hot women there” but noooooo all there was was angry annoyed and depressed mainly old men there what a disappointment!!!! That’s false advertising, and clickbait at it’s finest, No wonder why they look like they’re about to punch you, it’s probably because there are no women there!!!

Recently took back an old muffler system off my jeep and they said catalytic converter wasnt there when i knew for a FACT it was. Ended up getting $1.80 for it. When i confronted them about it 3 minutes later, they said there was nothing they could do about it. They scammed me ot of at least $50. It was a 2003 grand jeep cherokee. 4L Never again will i go there or recommend it to anyone! Merry Christmas to me i guess.

Twin Village was excellent I go there quite often all the people there are friendly and I signed a waiver so when I have a lot of stuff they don't hesitate to unload it for me with the crane or if I have one of their guys help I couldn't be happier then going to that place I would recommend anyone going there the only thing is you have to be careful of is getting nails in your tires in the back by the big pile.

Says they close at 2, showed up at 1:15 and it was closed. If they want to close early then change the hours!!!!!

1st timer….Terrible experience. No one to help, no instructions on how to get rid of my scrap load and get paid. Should be an easier experience. I just turned around and left.

Your customer service is seriously lacking. No need to be rude and mean over the phone to someone just asking a question. I will make sure to let everyone know not come here unless you want to be treated poorly.

Good place to get rid of your scrap metal. They keep the driving areas cleaned unlike other simular establishments that you have to worry about getting a flat tire by running over a metal object. They could use a few more signs to help first times understand the process.

do not come here to scrap, they will rip you off. Dropped off 345lb of clean aluminium and the guy wrote it up as dirty aluminium. so instead of getting 55 cents a pound, I got 30. If your not a professional scrapper, they literally enjoy ripping you off. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!!

I just took in some hitches and they gave me a sheet iron price when it's clearly steel. Never going here again.

Incompetent workers, Parked to drop off steel, crane operator knocked over metal pile and caused $1,300 worth of damage to SUV. You think your saving money to drop off the stuff yourself, better off paying someone to haul it away.

The goblin at the window was rude and miserable. Took all iron,t the guy in the yard told us where to put it after he looked at our truck, told her it was all iron and she still gave us mixed pricing.

Watch out for flat tires..I haven't gotten one yet lol I pass two other scrap yards on my way there.. great place and great people

I've taken not one but two of my vehicles for them to dispose... Both times they have been excellent, friendly and helpful.

Nothing like the commercial! You are apparently supposed to know what you have and where it should go. Also no one helped me unload my stuff. Not worth my drive

Called to ask if someone would help unload a trailer as it was just me and currently injured lady was nasty and no we won’t you need to find someone to help you won’t be getting my service

Was really easy to get rid of my junk around my house. Helpful people and came away with some cash in my pocket.
