Would rate Zero if I could. Absolutely horrendous experience with this company. Decided to cancel our truck with NO notification. After being told we hadn't decided to pay cash or card yet they DID NOT notify us that they needed payment before sending the truck. Left us completely stranded and no communication. Would not recommend. Ever.

I had my Model Y towed by this company through Tesla due to a damaged tire. The tow itself went smoothly, but when the car was being lowered off the flatbed, the tow driver himself pointed out that the strap used to secure the vehicle had snapped the valve stem in half, leaving my passenger-side rear tire completely flat. I have clear photos documenting this damage. Tesla replaced both tires and TPMS but informed me that the tire damaged by the tow company would not be covered under my Tesla insurance. I paid $545.47 out of pocket. Both Tesla and I independently emailed the towing company the invoice for the damaged tire, yet they claim they “never received any invoices.” Despite this, they refused to cover the cost—even though their own driver acknowledged what happened. This lack of accountability is extremely disappointing and not what I would expect from a professional service provider. I am sharing my experience so that other Tesla owners are aware. I still hope the company will reconsider and reimburse me for the damage caused during their service.

I rarely write reviews but I have to give a shout-out to Vinny for helping me with my car trouble today. Your kindness, knowledge and professionalism didn’t go unnoticed. Thank you so much!

The owner towed me today, 4/12, on I- 84- e, he was so friendly, fast and efficient. He made sure i was okay; and towed me in about 10-15 minutes— i was stuck pretty good. He gave me a great deal for the tow!! overall a 10/10 experience, couldn’t be more greatful!! Thank you again!!

I would like to really thank Tow Boss for coming to tow my Tesla model S after hours. I had a completely dead battery, nothing powers power and I was just getting out of work 7pm. Tow Boss was recommended by Tesla. The guy really did me a solid by coming out after hours to tow my car from Poughkeepsie to mount kisco. Very professional and really cared bout my situation. The pricing was very fair and I highly recommend this company. Also there tow trucks are very nice, stands out from any other tow truck, I ever seen. Thank you guys

I had a car wreck in my front lawn last night. I can’t say enough good things about the guys from Tow Boss who came out to help get the car out of the ditch. I live in Newburgh and their response to the scene from Fishkill was very fast considering it was so late. They were nice, professional, and they had a game plan on how to get the car out. I can’t remember the name of the man who initially showed up (sorry!) but he was super respectful about the fact that he didn’t want to do any damage to my property which I greatly appreciated. I’m happy to report that no one got hurt and the Tow Boss driver was so kind to the driver of the accident and assured him they’d take care of him to get things sorted out with insurance and his car. Even though I haven’t personally dealt with the company for my own vehicle, I wouldn’t hesitate to call Tow Boss in my time of need. Thanks guys!

I used Tow Boss through Geico roadside service and was so happy with them! Matt called right away, came super quick and was so nice and helpful! They also have very nice, new looking tow trucks! If I need a tow in the future I'll be calling tow boss for sure! Highly recommended!

My car broke down on my way home from a weekend trip and I was far from home. After going through my insurance company, I had two separate towing companies cancel the job/tow after waiting for them for 1.5 hours each. Tow Boss was the third company my insurance set me up with. The owner called me directly and explained and gave insight into why the other companies were cancelling the jobs and helped me come up with a more affordable and manageable way for me to handle my situation while still needing to find my way home. The owner of Tow Boss was a true pleasure to speak with and helped me navigate and handle what was an incredibly difficult and stressful day. THANK YOU!

Excellent service from start to finish. James the Tow Driver took exceptional care of my car. He did the job quickley and efficiently. During the ride he was very friendly and kept up a great conversation which made a 30 minute drive go by smoothly. My car is kind of low and I didn't hear the bumper scratch not one time. Highly recommend to use and great job providing excellent service.

Caught a blowout today on my Suburban, my insurance dispatch me to tow boss and they were quick to come to me. James the driver was extremely onpoint and quickly took the tire from underneath My truck and replaced it, Even in the rain He was professional. Total slick talking wannabe scammer. If you let a dummy talk he’ll tell you everything you need to know. Matt charged 4000$ for a tow and not even 24 hours in storage. He was adamant on telling me my car was totalled and specifically told me that he buys cars just like mine and sells them. Con Artist, Scammer and honestly a fraud. I was later told he’s been kicked off of i84 for overcharging for tows. But 4000$??? My insurance company couldn’t believe the charges so had to have a special department approve it. Do not ever use this cornball. My passenger window was blown out on impact and I had called and spoke to the wife she assured me that my window would be taped up due to bad weather and not wanting further damage done to vehicle. Well, I took it upon myself a few hours later to goto the place and tape it up myself because I felt something was wrong, well when I got there it was almost 5pm closing time and I seen that my car window was never taped up to prevent further damage. A bunch of liars.

I was in a serious accident Sat and 2 trucks showed up from tow boss. They handled the whole situation with 2 totaled cars and an intersection full of debris in the most professional manner imaginable. They even went out of their way to get me home! Could not recommend these guys more! Great outfit!

I was in an accident early one recent morning. I left the accident scene via Ambulance to a local hospital and was released. Hours later, After getting a rental, I went to the tow yard. Both Matt and his wife were very professional and polite. I removed my belongings to notice the car had been gone through... two sets of ray ban sunglasses were no where to be found. I returned to the accident scene on the off chance they were there, no luck. I am by no means accusing anyone directly, not the tow company, the firemen, or the troopers. I will keep in mind that I am blessed and that everything can be replaced.

If I camouflage give them a zero. It would be a zero!!! They got the order to tow my car through my insurance at 1pm. They never showed up at the estimated time 3pm. They waited until I called them to inquire and finally said they had to cancel. They are unprofessional and if you use them you’re guaranteed to be stuck with your car. Horrible business practices !! Never again

What a wonderful company! This husband and wife team took great care of me and my car. I had a flat tire and had to pull over in a less than desirable spot. (Panic attack!) The tow arrived quickly, kept me calm, and was very pleasant to chat with. Highly recommend!!

Wow! I am so happy I found Tow Boss in my hour of need! AAA wasn’t picking up the phone and my battery had died while I was away from home with my dog in the car even! I called Matt and he showed up so quickly I didn’t even have a chance to open up the hood as he had requested. He was also able to confirm for me that it was definitely my battery and not my alternator, which was also super helpful. I was expecting an all-day hassle but bc of Tow Boss I was at the auto shop getting a new battery installed within 20 minutes of calling them! Telling everyone I know to keep his number in their wallets!

Matt from Tow Boss Towing was the nicest guy we've dealt with all day. We've been stuck on the New York State Thruway for 9 hours and couldn't get any help. Finally got towed off the Thruway into Newberg and Matt was there within minutes and save the day. Very nice gentleman. He also suggested a safe place for us where to wait safely for the ride he also arranged for us to get home. I would recommend his business 1000%.

Matt from Tow Boss Towing truly made my mother’s car accident as easy as possible. He promptly arrived at the scene to tow her car and even went above and beyond to walk us through the insurance claim process. His kind words and actions made the biggest difference in handling the situation, as well as knowing our car is in good hands. Fantastic people and work. Highly recommend to anyone in need!

Excellent Service!!! I was told through my insurance that it would be about 60 minutes. To my surprise they were there in 15 minutes!!! Robert you are the BEST!!! Sometimes in the worst of situations you meet wonderful people. I was stranded on I84 with my classic truck and Matt came along and offered his services, taking every precaution to make sure no further damage was caused in getting my vehicle on the flatbed. Okay this is going to be a little long. I work an hour away from where I live, and I work evenings. I get out around midnight. I was driving home this morning (7/6/21) when my car began giving me trouble around 1230-1245. It couldn’t maintain its speed on cruise control which has never happened but it’s an 08 so at first I was puzzled as it picked back up in its speed. For good measure I turned my cruise control off. It happened again even as I pushed my foot farther and farther towards the floor with no increase in speed. I was alarmed to say the least. So I pulled onto the shoulder and began my adventure with my towing service. An hour into waiting for the company they dispatched to contact me I get a call asking if I still needed to be towed…By the time 3 am rolled around I called them back to find out why it’s taking so long, why I haven’t heard from anyone, what do I do now? the rep couldn’t give me an ETA and despite her best efforts I called my insurance company and they did what the other couldn’t. They got a hold of Matt the owner of Tow Boss & Recovery who called me in roughly 30-45 minutes (I did fall asleep for a little while from being so tired) before his day even started saying he was on his way. He drove me and my poor car all the way home. All the while I’m fretting what could this issue be, he’s telling me it shouldn’t be the trans nor the engine. (Yay! Thank goodness!??? Still hoping it’s an easy fix). Matt was so kind and nice and reassuring from the moment I met him. I cannot stress how amazing it was to be treated as a customer and not just a number. If I ever run into trouble again with my car and I get to choose who tows my car, it’s going to be Matt and his company every time! Do yourself the favor and choose the professional. I was heading home from work when all of a sudden my car started to shut off on me. I manage to pull over and wait safely until the towing company reached me. Matt who is the owner of the towing company came and help get my 2015 Honda Civic car on the back of his truck, and he waited with me until my brother in law came to pick me up. That alone in itself spoke volumes to me. He also safely delivered my car to the car shop. Matt and his wife Michelle who answered my phone call were both very helpful during this stressful time. I want to Thank both of them for being so kind , professional and most of all helpful. I would highly recommend this towing company if you end up needing help with in the area.

I had a terrible accident during a snowstorm last week. I called Tow boss and Matt the owner came out. It seemed like 10 minutes that I was waiting there, he was very fast. The minute I met him I knew he was there to help. He told my car back to his shop Where it was inspected by my insurance company. Through the whole process Matt and his employees treated me with the most respect and thoughtfulness. I highly recommend anyone needing a tow to call this company.

I had an EXCELLENT experience with Tow Boss Towing! (My auto insurance company was paying for my towing, and had found them for me.) My car's battery was dead, and I needed a tow from my home to the Auto Repair Shop, about 18 miles away. I had arranged an appointment with the tow company, and on the morning of my appointment Tow Boss appeared at my house right on time. The truck is shiny and immaculate...The driver, Marvin, was the nicest, kindest person I could have asked for! He was very polite, and I knew immediately that my car was in good hands. He jumpstarted the car and drove it up my long gravel driveway, and carefully and professionally loaded it onto the flatbed. He reassured me that the battery was definitely the problem and that it was not the alternator, which would have been a much more costly part. I climbed into the super clean cab section, and off we went! I thoroughly enjoyed the ride with Marvin, sharing stories, and could see that he is a caring person who goes out of his way to help others. We arrived at the Auto Repair Shop exactly when I had wanted to. He carefully unloaded my car, and when we shook hands as he departed I thanked him for his excellent service and said I would definitely recommend Tow Boss to everyone! I hope this review encourages more customers...I hope you get Marvin as your driver! He is terrific!
