We had our wedding at The Yard, and Jason and the team gave us the best experience we could have imagined. They allowed us to fully customize the experience to our vision - the space, the schedule, everything. We asked about a disco ball hanging over an open-air dance floor - they made it happen. We asked about a projection showcasing our cat - they made it happen. We wanted to make our own playlists for all of our wedding weekend music - they let us hook up our phones to their concert-quality sound system.
The Yard allowed us to make our entire wedding weekend a single-location event, which was truly invaluable from a planning and coordination perspective. We had our rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, welcome party, ceremony, and reception all right at The Yard. We were even able to stay in the beautiful house on the property of The Yard, both my family and my partner's family. It was a wonderful experience, and a massive weight off the shoulders of everyone involved!
The Yard team has beautiful relationships with the Beacon / greater Hudson Valley community, and they helped us utilize those relationships in the planning of our wedding - all of the food, drinks, silverware, tableware, etc. were supplied by local businesses who know and love The Yard. It was such a joy for our wedding to feel like such a community effort!
The Yard team also was SO helpful on wedding weekend with last-minute needs and in-the-moment coordination. These guys are the utmost professionals in event execution. Anything we needed help with / wanted to adjust, it was done moments later, and with nothing but kindness.
Genuinely, our experience with The Yard was nothing short of fantastic; we are so grateful for them!
The artisan experience, featuring craftspeople, artists, musicians, and exceptional food and beverage vendors, was truly exceptional and left a lasting impression. My children particularly enjoyed the beverages offered. It was a memorable day, and we plan to return. We extend our sincere appreciation to Five Points; we look forward to our next visit.
I had my wedding party at the Yard, ~130 people, live band, in the middle of November. Julia and the team were so helpful the entire time, from recommending vendors, to setting up sound with the band, and helping out the day of the party. We were always able to reach her, and they were very accommodating. Our guests loved the space and the House we stayed at on the venue grounds, and I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking to party, and after-party, in Beacon.
We had Roll Out's 2nd Annual Community Print and Steamroll Event at the Yard this past weekend. We could not have asked for a better venue to hold this large-scale completely free community event. Their space is magical and surpassed what we ever could have imagined. The Yard is not just a venue, it is a community and everyone working there feels like family. Our event was intergenerational and for the entire Beacon community. Kids were able to run around in the beautiful space, create their own prints and watch a steamroller print massive wood blocks carved by local artists and school groups. The Yard became a home to us during the weeks leading up to our event and we were able to also host our free community workshops at their space. We were also able to partner with Beacon Open Studios to host a curated exhibition during the weekend long event. The Yard's gallery is beautiful and welcoming. From retirees to young children, everyone felt welcomed in this space and we hope to collaborate with The Yard in the future. Thank you for what you provide our community, we feel lucky to have you.
We hosted our rehearsal dinner and wedding at the Yard this September and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience! The venue is open yet intimate, plenty of space both outdoors and indoors to have the ceremony and after party. I love that the venue already has pretty much everything you need to host a wedding: tent, lighting, sound systems/PA, tables, kitchens, private parking, dance floors, lawn games, bars and the list goes on! The staff was reliable, friendly, responsive and attentive to our every need and concern. We even hired a day of coordinator from the Yard to assist as our hands on coordinator for the day which was amazing. The team at the Yard works hard, are motivated to make your vision come to life and do so with artistic skill. To hear our guests say that our wedding venue was not only very beautiful but the “chillest” environment for a wedding felt extremely gratifying and only made the night more memorable! If you have the opportunity to book this special venue, do not hesitate!
What a wonderful space! I've been hosting an annual, town-wide community event and art show here for 3 years now. The Yard team treat my "Beacon Open Studios" event like its their event, truly. They are all incredibly helpful and attentive. No detail is overlooked. Chairs are set up for our film screenings before I ask, lighting is adjusted for our art without my prompting. Crazy daunting, art install ideas are listened to and properly, safely accomplished.The Yard team becomes your team and your family when you choose them for your events. They fill in any gaps you might have in your planning without anyone noticing and on the day of your big event, that is priceless.
Incredible venue for music, art, community, and private events. Their staff is beyond excellent and the space is beautiful and perfectly customizable. They are your venue!
I Hosted my First Event at They Yard and my experience was Incredible! I knew going into this it was a big undertaking but The Yard Staff made it so simple and stress free to put on! They were very prompt with communication, organized, professional and had answers to any questions or concerns I had. The Night of the event they went above and beyond, they made sure the Vendors were where they needed to be and had everything they needed and even helped with load in and set up, they kept in communication with me throughout the night and handled any issues that came up though there were few. The Venue itself is gorgeous! The Outdoor area is large and well maintained, there was more than enough room for everyone and they have some outdoor lighting which was perfect for my Night Market! The Indoor space was Clean and the perfect set up for my indoor Vendors, the best part for me was that the Venue both Indoor and Outdoor is Accessible for people with mobility difficulties. All of my Vendors also had nothing but good things to say about the Venue and the Staff. I Highly Recommend this Venue for any Event!
I had an event at The Yard in June 24, and it was a complete success thanks to the incredible staff and venue. Everyone that works there is friendly and helpful and seem to genuinely care about the guest experience. I give them my highest recommendation possible!
We chose to host our wedding reception at The Yard in late August 2023. The Yard, Jason, and the whole LNJ crew far exceeded our expectations and provided a warm, welcoming, and fun environment for our party.
They are thoughtful in the ways their business can impact the local community and the environment, including helping us ensure any excess food either went to a food rescue organization, or was composted. They are genuine and kind and always doing things in a way that have a positive impact for their clients and the world around them. We truly felt a connection with them not just in the positive ways they run their business but also who they are as people. We're so grateful to have connected with such a great company!
They are very creative and understood our vision and ideals from the very first conversation. We loved everything they did to make our vision a reality. The tent lighting, the outdoor bar area, the fire pit, yard games, and custom-made arcade games all hit the mark.
Jason and the LNJ team were ready and available the entire day and throughout our reception to take care of any needs that arose. They also worked well with our vendors and planners to ensure things happened seamlessly. They are fantastic people and do great things for their community, and that really spoke to us when we made the decision to choose The Yard for our big day. We highly recommend The Yard for your next event, or for your wedding. And we definitely recommend LNJ Tech for any creative work if you are holding an event elsewhere. They are pros when it comes to lighting, props, and event-related construction, and you can tell they love what they do.
Went there for Beacon's PRIDE day...amazing place! They have a great location, a modern fire pit, lawn games, a privacy fence, and wonderfully decorated building with modern meets farmhouse style. The bathrooms inside were neat and clean. I look forward to many more events at this great space!
