Had a check engine light tested for me and when I came back in to get it checked, someone came up from the back and said “I don’t work here” but they could plug it into the computer, unsure why no employee could help and more concerning is why there is a non employee lingering around the back of the store?

I stopped in to AutoZone for an emergency I needed to replace my alternator Not only did you have the alternator in stock two of your employees Heather and Richard helped me install it right in the parking lot As a senior citizen I cannot tell you how wonderful it was to have these two young kids help me out I hope they both get some type of recognition and reward they went above way above customer service I would also like to say thank you to Gabriel your manager who was patient enough to wait for the exchange of the old alternator for the new I am so glad that you guys are close to home and understand what customer service really means thank you so much

I came in having starting issues, the associate Jim tested my battery. My battery tested bad so he got me a good deal on a battery and even installed it for me! Tha k you Jim!

Had to grab an oil pressure sensor because our jeep was dinging annoyingly since we got in state from Erie and back also an oil/filter for a change on our jeep. It was last minute probably 10 mins til close. Can't remember his name. It was a younger kid, maybe in his mid-20s, bringing the handle bar mustache back, properly, I might add. He was quick, helpful, and informative. Even grabbed all the parts for us in a jiffy. So thank you to him. I'm usually an Advanced Auto guy myself if my main local guy at P&M Autos doesn't have it. Usually, they do tho plus they are closer to home, and they have stuff I prefer. But it's just preference. Also, if Autozone had a deal sign up like Advanced, I would use AutoZone a lot more if they had a cool level up program like them. But thank you to that specific worker. Yall at corporate give him a raise. You got the money to do it. Life ain't cheap to live and make the big business guys more rich.

This place sucks . After years of not using them to buy parts I decided to use them to buy sway bar bushings as they were the only place in town that had them in stock. Once there - they basically told me they couldn’t do their job because they didn’t have a part number so not only did they not have it but they couldn’t order it either ? lol I find this comical as I went back outside to use their website and what do you know? There was a parts number , will never use this place again. They are lazy and rude and refuse to do their job. Will be taking my business down the road to advanced auto. Hope this place goes out of business honestly because they have been awful for years.

Go anyplace but here. Lots of other choices. Expensive and that helpful commercial you see ? Fiction and fantasy. You're lucky if they have time here to get off their phones and to stop talking among themselves to help you.

Stopped in after work to grab some AC recharge and the prices there selling there AC products for are insane. Want 100 bucks for a can of ac pro yet the same can and double the Freon is available at Walmart for 42 bucks. How are you guys over double charging for the same products and no1 has complained. My complaint will go higher up bcz it's not ok to take advantage of anyone in this time

so I gave 3 stars because when you need a part and it's in stock there great but if they have to order it they have no idea what there doing 3 days ago I ordered some bolts they had at their hub they said they will be in very next day well 3 days in a row I called they said it was ordered and should be there tomorrow this went on every day for 3 days , like people have to get to work, I finally ordered them from both advanced auto and AutoZone today so we will see tomorrow who has them my first time ever ordering from advanced auto and my 3rd time this week ordering the same bolts from AutoZone not to mention I ordered a radiator in the past online it said order it today get it by tomorrow took like over a week and a half to get it and they blamed it on me saying I chose the shipping option when they only had 2 options order today get it by tomorrow and pick up in store. and when I called the store and corporate they said they couldn't do much because it's not considered late this was after a week of waiting and calling because every day I checked the tracking number it would update and say the following day and when I explained this corporate was rude and said there was nothing they could do well corporate emailed me later on and made up for it gave me rewards for the inconvenience AutoZone has always been my first choice im not bashing them i am simply putting my experience out there for others to decide

Great place to go to get parts. The manager there Chris he's a great customer service representative he knows how to do his job if you need help if your car breaks down or you need any advice about cars I recommend talking to manager great place in the town of Dunkirk Fredonia area I 100% recommended five stars all day

Good experience other than the store associate though I should over pay $10 for a jug of Mobil 1 oil versus Walmart charging me $27 for the same oil. If AutoZone stops ripping people off for motor oil. Maybe they sell more by volume if they lower there price.

Drove 7 hours to pick our son up from the nearby college. Our suv was barely turning over the night we arrived. Went to AutoZone around 9 am to have battery tested. There was no customers in the store. I explained my problem and asked if I could have my battery tested, the guy with green hair said it’s not really a great time… it was raining, but I didn’t plan on having car trouble. He reluctantly went out and said it needed a new battery. I asked the if they changed them there, he said “only easy ones” my battery is under the hood with 1 bracket over it. So no. I asked how much a new battery was he said without looking anything up around $200. So I managed another start and left. Pulled into Advanced Auto Parts they tested the battery, gave me 3 options, and replaced it for free. Saved the day for us. Super disappointed in Autozone as it is my go to when I am home.

I was in the area from out of town. I stopped in because I was getting a vibration on the front end of my truck. I went in to the counter and asked for any ideas of what might be occurring. Richard at the counter was very helpful. We found that the issue was loose lug nuts from a recent tire change. Richard came out with a torque wrench and tightened all for the lug nuts. He went well above and beyond counter help. Thanks.

Okay. Let's address the elephant in the room, right out of the gate. It's a minimum wage chain parts place, seving a community of about 10k. Linited selection, and under qualified staff is a given with most places like that. Want better, more knowledgeable staff, NAPA, Parts Plus, and othet places exist, and are local. Better choices for those times when you don't really know exactly what you need. That being said, the staff I have dealt with knows wjat they are doing, aren't pushy, and are eager to help. Several have worked in other shops, and spun their share of wrenches, honesrly making it one of my top local choices. They also go above and beyond to help me out, with parking lot repairs, me being an amputee, when I need to use my chair, instead of my prosthetic. General parts, I'll go to them. Speciality, like certain exhaust fittings or performance parts, other places stock them, compared to special order. Not the best, but far from the worst.

I don't know who the associate was working 7.22.2022 at Friday morning around 8am because he didn't have a name badge on, but I was not impressed. I asked for help with a diagnostic tool for my check engine light and was treated like an annoyance. I was also told the light had to be on which I know, but I'm not comfortable leaving my car running in the parking lot especially when my presence isn't acknowledged for a full minute while the associate was openly cussing at a computer. I know things are stressful with shortages and inflation but making customers feel like they're dirt on your shoe isn't good. I don't want anyone to lose their job in these hard times, but if a customer wasn't rude to you please don't be rude to them. Granted I appreciated the printout of the code so I say thanks for that.

Can't even get through to this place half the time. 10 minute wait just for them to answer the phone and when they do answer it seems noone ever knows what car parts aside from MAYBE 1 person. 85% of the time they have to order parts for the most common vehicles because they don't carry anything in stock except rotors, brake pads and spark plugs. And when you order parts 75% of the time they have to be returned because they are wrong. I highly suggest finding a new parts store. Advanced auto is 3x better with parts in stock and customer service

I had a great experience here!!! My battery was giving me trouble - the young lady that was working the counter came out to my car and tested the battery. The manager came out to follow up with me. Of course my battery was on its way out and it’s a Saturday- after 4:30 so all the garages were closed. The manager went into the store shop and asked his worker Tristan to change the battery. Tristen changed it in literally 20 minutes! And was so very nice - honestly? I would come back here any time I have a car issue!

Forever giving people the wrong parts and then when you go back they have to order the right ones because they're always out of stock. Simply not issues a business that specializes in auto parts should have. These may seem minor to the staff there but for families looking to make repairs quick who depend on their vehicles for emergent reasons its sad we can't rely on our auto part store and are left without a vehicle for days to weeks because of this set back.

I'm going to be completely honest here. The customer service at the Fredonia location at the 2pm hour today was absolutely horrible, and I was not the only customer getting upset. We were all standing in line for almost 10 minutes while the employees stood behind the counter talking to each other. I needed to use their code reader on my vehicle. Once I finally got it, used it, and came back in the store with it, it was the same damn wait. Finally go up to the counter and give the reader back. Employee looks at me, looks at the reader. Keeps working on whatever at his computer for almost 10 minutes before giving the reader to someone else so the other person could help me. Ridiculous!

I have been buying car parts for 40 plus yrs ,this store location has always been great to work with. They actually spend time (too much i think!) to help the automotive clueless get their cars fixed, so they can still complain about something, and no its not a repair shop its a parts store.

The only reason I'm giving max is one star because they never have solution for a problem and ever time you buy a part they never have it. And the why they treat people isn't professional I would like that the way people are treated would be with more respect and professional. And I don't care about other people option this is my.

The lady who helped me that day, actually helped me twice. She spent time talking to my father on the phone, and he's a very picky person when it comes to automotive parts. I would love to give them 5 stars, but nobody's perfect. They weren't able to put a headlight in and the soul purpose of the trip there was because I had court that night. Otherwise, they did great!

Fast and friendly service. They allow you to do minor maintenance in the parking lot right there so you can make sure whatever you bought works (ie: bulbs, fuses, etc). The only thing that I had a qualm with was that stock for simple small things like bulbs was low. I mean one person buying a pair of one type of bulb can put the store out a few days of that product. Second star lost was the fact that the packaging on many things I get are damaged. Not big expensive things thankfully but small things like bulbs and common parts. Otherwise great place to go.
