Ask how much for oil change, they say $23.99 , then when you pick it up its $104.99 , as she says thats the price for an oil change not the oil and filters !!! Yeah thanks for that 👍

I went into the ditch this morning. I called Mike at Oakwood and he was on seen quickly. He pulled me out of the ditch without any issues. I really do appreciate the service. Thank you Mike for you help.
My parents and I have been bringing our vehicles for repairs and service for years and probably not again as they are getting slower and slower except when they put their hand out to get paid for subpar work. After the shop got bigger it also got worse. If you don't mind waiting 3-5 weeks for a 1 week repair then I guess they are okay.
I have used Oakwood Service Center since moving to the area several years ago. They have never given me a reason to look for anyone else to do maintenance or repairs.
We used Oakwood when we broke down and had to get a tow. They were so kind and very prompt about the situation. They had us back home within an hour of us calling. I have nothing negative to say about this business, great customer service, very knowledgeable, and quick! Great job Oakwood!
My husband took our car to Oakwood to get the fuel pump and wheel bearing replaced last Wednesday. It is now Monday morning and it's still not done. We were not told the full story of how long it would take. Excuse after excuse. The customer service has gone downhill. We will not be back.
Usually Good service / steep prices.
They once accepted a AAA road side call for a road side flat tire late at night in the dead of winter, near negative degree weather and never showed up, had to call AAA back who then had to dispatch a different company. Had to also request the second company bring fuel as since I sat idling for nearly two hours in a large work truck I had ran out of fuel, stranded for a half hr without heat till the second company arrived.
Note I was broke Down 0.7 Miles from their shop, the second company promptly came from 7.7 miles away.
They are very accommodating to my time frame of having my vehicle in both work and personal. Friendly staff and very knowledgeable mechanical staff. Overall always a great experience.
They are so knowledgeable. Said I needed brakes and I questioned them. But they were so right. Now I bearly lift my toe to the brake peddle and I have brakes. Had not noticed how low they went before engaged. Thank you so much for taking care of my car and me.
Super nice folks helped me out quickly. I had a leaking tire and they removed the bolt I'd picked up, plugged up the leak and had me on my way for about $20 in no time. They were friendly and courteous, and didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need.
Don’t let them tow vehicles unless you’re ready to have them gouge you for parts and labor. They ordered parts, did work without permission and charged me over $600 when all I needed was a tow (the tow itself cost $250). Also, when I was finally allowed to pick up my car, they kept me waiting 5 hours in their lobby when I was supposed to be waiting for the mechanic to “pull it around”. Never again.
Mike Bower and his team at Oakwood Service Center have been taking care of my parents Vehicles needs for about 20 or 30 years if not just a little bit longer. They always provided excellent customer service, fair pricing, great knowledge and skill at fixing the cars that we had and they always went above and beyond when it came to offering their help. Whenever my parents needed a tow they provided it sometimes for free and it was quite the distance for them to have gone when my parents were weren't able to have it towed there or driven there otherwise. They offered help on weekends and they always did a great job of keeping their cars running as long as possible. Most recently my dad stopped driving and it came time to sell the car so we took it over to Oakwood had it inspected, had it serviced and Mike kept it there for many weeks without charging us any storage fees and it was such a relief knowing that the car was taken care of and so great of him to not charge for that with everything else that was going on with my Dad's health. Their kindness and their caring is much appreciated and they took great care of my parents for several years and I'd recommend Oakwood to anyone.
Had a wonderful experience with these folks during a not so wonderful afternoon. Work truck broke down in Auburn and needed a tow. Called Oakwood based on a recommendation (I'm from Syracuse) and they were out to get me in no time! Did everything they could to get me going without a tow, even though that wasn't the case. They had the part I needed in stock and made it a priority to get my truck drivable that day so I wasn't stuck and having to find a ride back to Syracuse. To top it all off, the price was extremely reasonable! They could have raked me over the coals and didn't, I would recommend Oakwood to everyone.
