I’m 14. I’ve went there to return cans and bottles for almost a year now and haven’t had any issues until the lady that works there started counting them for me instead of the other employees, my parents hand me the bags to take there so I don’t go through them myself. The past 3 times I went there the lady gave me a terrible attitude because there was a couple things in there that weren’t returnable. I understand that some things aren’t returnable but every other cans and bottle place I’ve went to just threw it away without an issue, but she very rudely told me not to go there if there’s stuff in the bag that isn’t returnable and instead of throwing them out like any normal person would she gave them back to me to WALK home with in the blazing sun (I don’t live close). The last time I went there there she started screaming at me because I dropped the bag of trash instead of walking home with it the week before and she was just yelling at me and going on and on and instead of arguing back with her I stayed civilized and just shook my head yes and no and said “okay” to everything she said with no attitude or anything I just wanted to get the money and go but me not retaliating must’ve enraged her and she went inside and counted the bags then gave me probably 25% of the money I should’ve actually got and told me if I ever come back she’s gonna call the police. I’ve never argued with this lady, I’ve never given her a dirty look, I’ve never had an attitude with her, and every time we interacted I was genuinely nice and polite. Mind you I’m 14 and I don’t bag the bottle myself I just bring them there for my parents she had no reason to act the way she was. I understand you have a nasty job with working with dirty cans and bottles but you don’t have to take your anger out on the customers thank you.
If you want to be threatened to get the cops called on you or be screamed at for sitting on the curb come here! The woman who owns this place is nasty and extremely disrespectful she’s lucky to have such kind staff who won’t talk disrespectfully about you to customers like she will. You can get 10 cent a bottle if you go around the coroner ;) and the gentleman there is extremely kind.
Lady working was very rude and passive aggressive about the types of bottles brought. Wasn’t quite sure what she was referring to and would’ve loved to fix the issue for next time but she had rolled her eyes and then proceeded to walk inside. Won’t be returning EVER again!
Frosted nickel does pick up! Which is a life saver in this cold and also when you’re feeling lazy. They arrived at my address in the time frame they set with me and venmoed me the money for my bottles and cans! Very great service and will use them ever time!! 10/10 recommend
I walk by this place frequently with my children and every time there is broken glass all over the sidewalk, I have to pick up my daughter because I’m so afraid she’s going to trip and get glass embedded in her knees or something. I don’t understand why they leave it like this it’s a public safety hazard and obviously they’re too lazy to sweep it off or they just don’t care about other people.
They work with you if you have alot of cans when times are better for working they do at home pick ups if you really need it. If you don't want to do your own cans at the machines then usually go here.
I just brought 5 and a half garbage bags of cans and was brought out $5 exactly. When I mentioned that something is wrong with the amount, I was told of I dont like it go somewhere else. Been going to this location for almost 30 years. Previous owner a much better, and honest person. I will take your recommendation kid.
Had an amazing experience at the frosted nickel today. I brought in 5500 cans and they counted them all quickly and efficiently. They are the best can redemption center in auburn! Highly recommended!
First time going here today. I was greeted with friendly staff, they were super quick even though I brought 7 garbage bags full. They also had about 5-6 other customers that pulled up before me. Will recommend and return.
Great place to return your bottles. They have this fast food service feel. I have a baby so it's not easy juggling her and bags of bottles. They make it so simple meet me at my car allow me to wait in my car. while they count and then bring me my $. So fast and very polite

I was met at my car by a very courteous employee who helped carry my cans & bottles into the store. Then two employees counted them very efficiently and quickly. They told the result to the cashier who promptly paid me cash. I was in and out in under 5 minutes. It was the best experience I’ve EVER had returning bottles & cans.
There's just no point in using the machines at the grocery store that reject half of your craft beer and one-off lacroix cans. These guys will count your empties faster than the guy on the micro machines ad can narrate, and they're super friendly to boot
Fast, easy, and friendly service. On some days (not every time!) they have me leave the bottles at the curb and they bring them the rest of the way in! I'm quite capable of lugging them in. It's just that that's they way they do things there. That's the type of people they are.
