Disappointed. I’m stationed outside of the state and rarely get the opportunity to go back home to clean things up. I called Robert’s scrap Friday and explained that I was on a short timeline when scheduling the drop off. I was told by Bobby that they could work with me and would drop it off Saturday. I waited around Saturday until noon and received no notification. Around noon, I called to inquire about the status of the drop off. The father answered and said everyone had already gone home for the rest of the weekend. The drop off location was 4 miles down the road from their scrap yard, in triangle/upper lisle area. All said and done, it was a waste of time and military leave to attempt to work with this business. I was leaving Sunday so there were no other chances to attempt the clean up. I try my best to do business with local families while I’m in the area. It’s frustrating when the business makes a promise to provide a service and doesn’t, it’s even more frustrating when said business doesn’t even provide notification that they won’t be able to follow through. They’ve had decent service before, but it’d be hard for me to recommend them if this is the quality of service provided. I’ll be looking elsewhere next time.
