The work was good but the scheduling was a bad experience. I took off the morning from work with the knowledge that I had an 8am appointment that would take approximately 1.5 hours. I was told this on my phone call when I setup the appointment. The car was not taken in until 2 hours after my 8am appointment and only after asking about it, causing me to be there 4.5 hours and lose most of my day at work. I would not return nor recommend this location.
They were friendly and professional on the phone and when I arrived. Had a flat tire, they got me in and out in under an hour. There was no charge thanks to road hazard protection which I will purchase again when I need new tires.
EXCELLENT personalized service! Scheduling an appointment was easy, and I was impressed by how thoroughly my car was checked. I appreciated that an employee took the time to go on a ride with me to help diagnose a noise I was hearing. Definitely recommend
I took my truck in on Sunday, 14 September. And told them that my truck was making a clunking noise in the front end when I push the gas. They diagnosed it as a bad ball joint. After leaving the shop once it was apparently fixed, it started making the same clunking noise once again. I couldn’t take it back to the shop Monday, but I took it back to the shop today on the 16th., And they immediately diagnosed it with a bad motor mount and want to charge me $1500 to fix that. That is complete and utter bull crap. They basically charge me $2000 for ball joints. I did not need at that particular time. My wife and I’ve been Firestone customers for years and we won’t be back.
Firestone on wolf rd Albany ny..they first charged us new plugs with labor on my f-150...took it to another mechanic because it wasn't running correctly.. the mechanic showed me the plugs and they were old..the 2nd was our mazda cx-5 , for rotation of tires and front end alignment. We had a tire on the front we had to put air in it once and awhile..it was still on the front..we called and he said they forgot to do the alignment...these vehicles were their over a period of 6 years..we have been a loyal customer for 8 years..I hope they don't treat all their customers like this
..we have had other vehicles their before, we had to get rid of them do to their diagnostic....this place should be revamped..
I continue to have good experiences at this Firestone location. I have been getting oil changes there with no issues or pricey suggestions on my older Toyota. Recently had the car towed there with check engine light on and serious slipping out of 1st gear. Tom was great to deal with, gave me great explanations of problems and options, and they fixed the car in a few hours at what I felt was a great price. No transmission issues, just sensors and some chewed wires. Will definitely go back.
Brought my car in for a funny noise on Labor Day weekend. The staff at this Firestone quickly and efficiently diagnosed the problem and got me on my way. Everyone was professional but friendly and I highly recommend this place for repairs or any other automotive need.
I called on a Friday needing a fuel pump installed in my dodge truck. I asked if I could bring my truck in Monday. Cory said sure and he would track down the right fuel pump. I got there 0700 Monday and Cory asked if I’d like to do an engine diagnostic to make sure it was the fuel pump before I spent $1000. I said yes. By 10am he called and said it was the fuel pump and they were replacing it. At 2pm Cory called and said the truck was ready for pickup. Everything was went like clock work. I will bring my truck here again for repairs.
This place is FANTASTIC! The service was impeccable and the fact that I came after being money hustled from another auto company!

Originally went to the central ave location for an alignment and wheel balance. After the services were done we could hear a noise in our vehicle. The central ave mechanics said they could not hear a noise and that they checked everything and all was good. However we kept hearing a clicking noise on the driver side from of the vehicle like something was loose. we brought it back to central ave where they sent us to the wolf road location and their mechanics there were able to diagnose and fix the issue which was a loose tire rod bolt. The noise is now gone and they handled the situation very well. Thank you to the Firestone on Wolf road!
We stopped in, unscheduled with my two toddlers due to a nail in my tire, resulting in an increasingly flat tire. They were AMAZING and got me out of there with a new tire and balance in 30 minutes. I cannot begin to express my gratitude for their speedy and caring service.
The manager took the time to talk over some issues that he noticed with my truck. He was genuinely just giving me all the information he had and offering solutions without pushing anything on me or being alarmist about it. I really appreciated the time he took to talk with me.
I made an appointment for 2pm for my free allignment plus an inspection and also a repair of a slow leak (ever since buying the tires at this location). I was ten minutes early and sat patiently until 3pm. At that point I asked how soon? I was told a "few minutes". At 3:30pm I asked again and was told again, "A few minutes". At 3:50pm I asked againa and was told "the inspection machine is broken". I used to work on cars... I never heard of an "inspection machine". the Car still wasn't inside so I asked for my keys and left. I must also note that there were 4 employees there at 2pm (several of them were in the "back room" and not out in the garage. This has happened each time I've been at this location and I have been disappointed but willing to try again. Not now... I'm going elsewhere.
Been coming here a while and I've gotta say that this was one of my best experiences there. It was my first time working with Cory and he seems great. The work on my car was done faster than usual, and solid recommendations (with evidence of problems) were made and quickly fixed. I'm just hoping that this location keeps up the good work, consistency is important and it's definitely ebbed and flowed over the years
I followed Cory, manager, to the Wolf Road Firestone from his previous location because he earned my trust right away. It didn’t take years... his honesty, professionalism, and the way he takes care of customers stood out immediately. Today was no different. He made sure everything was done right and kept me informed the whole way, as always. If you’re looking for someone you can rely on, Cory’s your guy. Highly recommend the Wolf Road location!
I had a broken valve stem on my way home from work one night. It was 6:50pm 10 minutes to close and when Mr. Tire and Monro failed to answer my phone call on the third place I found, Firestone did! I asked for help since I had an hour drive to get home and they took care of it. I really appreciate it. They made quick work of it and saved me from having to get towed.
Just like everyone else I walked in not wanting to spend the money on my truck. I needed tires and brakes and in the matter of going out to lunch down the road and coming back my truck was done and outside. I paid nearly half of what I was quoted by 2 different places right up the road. Definitely returning here for what ever my truck needs
The manager, Cory, is very helpful, honest, and knowledgeable. I take all of my vehicles to him for service and maintenance. The shop does a great job of getting your vehicle in quickly, and they don't waste your time. No pressure and I never feel like they're selling me something that I don't need

I brought him and the staff up front took turns helping keep him occupied while the amazing technicians took care of my vehicle. I will never go anywhere else. Top Notch Service!!
Somehow ended up with nails in both back tires.. Cory and his crew patched them up in less than 10 minutes. Now, it’s the only place I’ll take my car. Cory has been the one to help us each time. He communicates with his team well and I always get the best customer service with the shortest wait times. I’ve referred multiple coworkers and friends to get work done and will continue to do so!

The crew at Firestone saved me today! While driving, I lost my brakes. I was so nervous and I seen the Firestone so I pulled in. They were able to get me in right away. Informed me that one of my brake lines had burst when I asked to see, they brought me into the shop and went through everything with me. I was expecting to have to leave the car, but they told me that it would be a few hours they got the new brake lines ran and then brought me back into the shop so that I could see the repair. The brakes work good as new. The upfront staff was very friendly and very knowledgeable and they didn’t hide anything from me unlike other shops Ive been too. They were very honest and upfront with me. I would highly recommend this shop!! It seems like things have changed for the better under the new management and new staff!! Thank you guys as u may have actually saved my life today!!!
Shout out to Cory at Firestone on Wolf Road! Been coming there for years and this has been my best experience over all. I had an emergency and brought my car in with the check engine light on and flat tire. It was busy and the bays were all full but Cory assured me he could get me hooked up and my tire changed. He was organized and remained professional the entire time. He handled everyone else's car issues individually and gave his undivided attention when talking to us. The service was fast, place was clean, and the most importantly the prices were fair and he did not take advantage of anyone. 10/10 recommend coming here and seeing Cory for all things car related.
I went to Firestone on Wolf Road today for an oil change and tires and had the best experience!
The manager Cory was great with explaining prices and giving me options without being pushy. He was pleasant and knowledgeable and his staff had my car in and out. The customer service here is unmatched! Even though it was busy Cory was still patient with me and took the time to make sure I got the right services.
I would absolutely recommend this location over the others!!
I had an issue with my car during a holiday weekend and went to Firestone because they were one of the few places open. I expected to overpay, however, the price they quoted me was so ludicrous that I decided to just wait a couple days and take it to my usual repair shop. Going to Firestone was a complete waste of time.
Cory, the new store manager, gave exemplary customer service today! He was very engaging and helpful with a headlight bulb on my vehicle which needed replacement. I was rushed for time and he provided prompt, professional, courteous service all within 3 minutes with a smile! Highly recommend!
Would have been better except for the time it took. Appointment at 3pm and I was early. Didn't leave until 530p. Staff was great and helpful. Comfortable chair to wait. Just too long for 4 new tires, mounted and balanced.
Ended up waiting for a long while to get a tire replaced. Had to ask what was going on, seeing my car on the lift with nothing happening. Apparently there was a problem with tire being delivered. This was after I had been given, on the phone, a price on a different tire that was in stock, but when I asked if they could just use that one instead to avoid having to wait longer they told me the in-stock tire wasn't appropriate for my vehicle...
The work was finally done after about three hours. When the front desk person went to ring me up, however, I was told that my tire replacement and state inspection would cost just under $1,000. I said, "Wait, how much??" That's when I saw that several additional services they had recommended on the phone (which I had declined) were included on the invoice -- even though those services, according to the person at the desk, had not actually been performed.
Mistakes happen, but I felt like I was on the receiving end of more than the typical share.
Clean and friendly environment, hassle-free. All employees respectful and very knowledgeable. Never left in the dark always explains what they're doing before they do it to make sure you're on board with the work they're going to do. Work performed is always done above satisfactory and you don't wait long. Highly recommend. Supervisor/manager always greets and says hello goes over all work that has been done and makes sure you're satisfied before you leave. They always go above and beyond to meet my standards and that is why I am a dedicated customer. I definitely appreciate the work they do on my car. My experience was above great.

Brandon, the store manager was knowledgeable, honest and friendly.
I do not have the names of the other employees who I dealt with or worked on my car, but the entire staff was hardworking individuals who kept everything moving.
