I had an outstanding experience thanks to Thomas, the service manager. From start to finish, he went above and beyond to make sure everything was handled smoothly and professionally. His attention to detail was remarkable—he made sure every question I had was answered thoroughly, and nothing was overlooked. Thomas was also incredibly friendly and approachable, which made the whole process stress-free and enjoyable. It’s clear he genuinely cares about providing top-notch customer service. Took the time to make sure it was done right. Bought tires 3 days ago at a Virginia firestone which were not balanced correctly drove to NY on a trip and this firestone took the time make sure it drove smooth going back home.
Dropped it off the day after a bunch of lights went off on my dashboard indicating that the transmission fluid was getting too hot. They took 3 days to determine that the entire transmission was shot and they wanted me to fork over at least $4k and charged me $110 just for a "diagnosis". They didn't even call me back, I had to call them. Took it to an independent shop a few days later and they said it was a bad solenoid which is a $40 part btw. Needless to say the folks at Firestone are predators preying on people they think they can trick. They'd steal your dreams if they could!
This Firestone specifically does Great work i been coming to then for Years . And They Have Definetly found issues that helped me keep my car going way more stronger and have helped me come along way . Wolf Road got the best Assitance . !!!!
Dropped off my Tacoma for a alignment on 12/30/2025 steering wheel was off center when I dropped it off picked it up and was still off.came back the next day and they redid it and still off do they even road test after ? Really don’t wanna come back a third time. Drives straight but wheel off center
Absolutely five stars! I got my winter tires from Firestone—specifically the Bridgestone Blizzak WS90—and I have to say they’re fantastic. Even in heavy snow up to my ankles, the car just goes through effortlessly. They also changed my wipers, and everything works perfectly. I recommended them to my friends, and now after waiting for a real snowstorm to test them out, I can confidently say these tires are perfect
Wolf Rd - Albany location - On my way home from work last night our car tire started rapidly losing air. We pulled into the nearest gas station, but they had no air. Across the street was Firestone - perfect!
We quickly pulled in, my daughter and I both got out of our car, and checked the tire. We could hear air leaking out. We started walking to the door, and the worker quickly walked out from behind the counter and locked it, seeing that we were there and were obviously in need of some quick help.
Granted it was 650 and they close at 700, but they had 10 minutes still that they were open, and the person wasn’t even willing to hear what the problem was. It turned out it just needed a plug, a quick fix, but I was even willing to purchase a new tire. Either way they’ve lost our business.

I bought a car from Latham Ford and they sold me a lemon. Latham ford is so dishonest and sells cars that have issues. Stay far away from Latham ford. Anyway after dealing with my dealership and they wanted to screw me I went to Firestone. Luis the service advisor was great. He talked me through the work and the charges so I knew what had to ve done. The service team is very informed on how to treat guests and fix their cars without issue. Yes us still cost a few dollars I did not have before Christmas but the team helped me out with different options to get me back in the road. I will be back for tires and anything my cars will need. I was pleasantly surprised that the nail in my tire was covered because I had bought the tire there recently. They were pleasant to work with. Seemed like nice guys.
Want to get ripped off? LOOK NO FURTHER! My boyfriend took his Nissan Maxima here last week for an inspection. They claimed his inspection failed due to taillights not working properly. They told him he needs 800 dollars worth of work. Well, my boyfriend knew that quote was absurd and took his car to two other places- who both told him the same thing (that he is getting ripped off and the issue isn’t the taillight). Happy that we checked elsewhere, and safe to say we will not ever be going to this location or any other Firestone again.
Friendly and knowledgeable staff, and they remember you and your car each time you come back. Plus, they try their hardest to find you the best deals. Good people, great service, no BS.
My car started making a nasty noise every time I turned right, and over the course of a few days it got progressively worse. I was so stressed about getting it in and finding out what was wrong and how much it would cost. Literally every one of my worries and concerns was taken care of when I got in touch with Tom at this Firestone location. He got me in within two days, diagnosed the issue in a number of hours, and had my car back to me later than day 100% back to new. No issues. Extremely reasonable pricing and amazing customer service, Tom turned a disaster into a walk in the park. HIGHLY recommend!
I purchased new tires from Firestone in Syracuse back in May.
Today while traveling to Albany for my son’s hockey games, I had some tire trouble.
Fortunately I had the tire protection insurance.
The guys at Firestone on Wolf road in Albany fixed my back right tire efficiently and timely. They said it would take 45-60 minutes and they got it done in less than 40.
Customer Service was absolutely amazing! Called the office really late and spoke to Cory. My ebrake stopped working and he told me to bring it in and they'd try to get to me before they closed in 45 minutes. Rolled in and they took it right back. Adjusted the brake and didn't charge me! Highly recommend this place. If I need service again, I'm definitely coming back!
The work was good but the scheduling was a bad experience. I took off the morning from work with the knowledge that I had an 8am appointment that would take approximately 1.5 hours. I was told this on my phone call when I setup the appointment. The car was not taken in until 2 hours after my 8am appointment and only after asking about it, causing me to be there 4.5 hours and lose most of my day at work. I would not return nor recommend this location.
They were friendly and professional on the phone and when I arrived. Had a flat tire, they got me in and out in under an hour. There was no charge thanks to road hazard protection which I will purchase again when I need new tires.
EXCELLENT personalized service! Scheduling an appointment was easy, and I was impressed by how thoroughly my car was checked. I appreciated that an employee took the time to go on a ride with me to help diagnose a noise I was hearing. Definitely recommend
I took my truck in on Sunday, 14 September. And told them that my truck was making a clunking noise in the front end when I push the gas. They diagnosed it as a bad ball joint. After leaving the shop once it was apparently fixed, it started making the same clunking noise once again. I couldn’t take it back to the shop Monday, but I took it back to the shop today on the 16th., And they immediately diagnosed it with a bad motor mount and want to charge me $1500 to fix that. That is complete and utter bull crap. They basically charge me $2000 for ball joints. I did not need at that particular time. My wife and I’ve been Firestone customers for years and we won’t be back.
Firestone on wolf rd Albany ny..they first charged us new plugs with labor on my f-150...took it to another mechanic because it wasn't running correctly.. the mechanic showed me the plugs and they were old..the 2nd was our mazda cx-5 , for rotation of tires and front end alignment. We had a tire on the front we had to put air in it once and awhile..it was still on the front..we called and he said they forgot to do the alignment...these vehicles were their over a period of 6 years..we have been a loyal customer for 8 years..I hope they don't treat all their customers like this ..we have had other vehicles their before, we had to get rid of them do to their diagnostic....this place should be revamped..
I continue to have good experiences at this Firestone location. I have been getting oil changes there with no issues or pricey suggestions on my older Toyota. Recently had the car towed there with check engine light on and serious slipping out of 1st gear. Tom was great to deal with, gave me great explanations of problems and options, and they fixed the car in a few hours at what I felt was a great price. No transmission issues, just sensors and some chewed wires. Will definitely go back.
I called on a Friday needing a fuel pump installed in my dodge truck. I asked if I could bring my truck in Monday. Cory said sure and he would track down the right fuel pump. I got there 0700 Monday and Cory asked if I’d like to do an engine diagnostic to make sure it was the fuel pump before I spent $1000. I said yes. By 10am he called and said it was the fuel pump and they were replacing it. At 2pm Cory called and said the truck was ready for pickup. Everything was went like clock work. I will bring my truck here again for repairs.
Originally went to the central ave location for an alignment and wheel balance. After the services were done we could hear a noise in our vehicle. The central ave mechanics said they could not hear a noise and that they checked everything and all was good. However we kept hearing a clicking noise on the driver side from of the vehicle like something was loose. we brought it back to central ave where they sent us to the wolf road location and their mechanics there were able to diagnose and fix the issue which was a loose tire rod bolt. The noise is now gone and they handled the situation very well. Thank you to the Firestone on Wolf road!
Been coming here a while and I've gotta say that this was one of my best experiences there. It was my first time working with Cory and he seems great. The work on my car was done faster than usual, and solid recommendations (with evidence of problems) were made and quickly fixed. I'm just hoping that this location keeps up the good work, consistency is important and it's definitely ebbed and flowed over the years
Only place I’ll take any of my cars… Staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. Cory especially takes the time out of his day to ensure you’re getting the best deals and best help. I’ve definitely noticed a turn around with new management! Cleaner, friendlier and overall a better working environment. Each and every time, the crew gets my car in ASAP. They don’t pressure me into any unnecessary purchases, so I will definitely continue to bring my car here.
The crew at Firestone saved me today! While driving, I lost my brakes. I was so nervous and I seen the Firestone so I pulled in. They were able to get me in right away. Informed me that one of my brake lines had burst when I asked to see, they brought me into the shop and went through everything with me. I was expecting to have to leave the car, but they told me that it would be a few hours they got the new brake lines ran and then brought me back into the shop so that I could see the repair. The brakes work good as new. The upfront staff was very friendly and very knowledgeable and they didn’t hide anything from me unlike other shops Ive been too. They were very honest and upfront with me. I would highly recommend this shop!! It seems like things have changed for the better under the new management and new staff!! Thank you guys as u may have actually saved my life today!!!
I went to Firestone on Wolf Road today for an oil change and tires and had the best experience!
The manager Cory was great with explaining prices and giving me options without being pushy. He was pleasant and knowledgeable and his staff had my car in and out. The customer service here is unmatched! Even though it was busy Cory was still patient with me and took the time to make sure I got the right services.

Clean and friendly environment, hassle-free. All employees respectful and very knowledgeable. Never left in the dark always explains what they're doing before they do it to make sure you're on board with the work they're going to do. Work performed is always done above satisfactory and you don't wait long. Highly recommend. Supervisor/manager always greets and says hello goes over all work that has been done and makes sure you're satisfied before you leave. They always go above and beyond to meet my standards and that is why I am a dedicated customer. I definitely appreciate the work they do on my car. My experience was above great.

I do not have the names of the other employees who I dealt with or worked on my car, but the entire staff was hardworking individuals who kept everything moving.

I am not one to write negative reviews, but this was an exception. I had an appointment with Firestone to get a simple tire replacement. After I was informed that the work on my vehicle was complete, I returned to my hotel where I was staying for business. I examined my car to make sure everything looked OK, and I noticed that the tire that needed to be replaced was still on my vehicle. They replaced the wrong tire. I had to bring back my vehicle to Firestone to have this fixed. In addition, when the new tire was replaced, I noticed the technician severely scratched my rims (please see photo attached). I cannot imagine what this will cost me to fix. The amount of time and inconvenience this entire dilemma cost me is inexcusable, and I am requesting compensation in some form. I have dealt with Firestone in various locations, but this experience was absolutely brutal. I was left speechless and I am completely infuriated about this whole thing.
