Amos was able to tow my motorcycle on a Sunday to his shop and fix my tire for me. He went above and beyond and I would definitely recommend him to anyone with motorcycle issues.

So many positive things to say about AC, first Joe got there ahead of schedule which was great after the experience I had with another tow company recently. Marlene at the front desk was very thorough in her intake process. Angela was so sweet too just made the whole process super easy and graceful.

Belt popped off my Suby and had no hassle utilising AAA in service with AC towing. Posted up for less than an hr and Andrew came through like a professional. Was able to get home safe.

Horrible. They refused to offer services when I needed a short tow. They claimed my road was not good. It is a county maintained rd. A company from Santa Fe came and did the job with no problems. Except being all the way from Santa Fe costs $400 dollars. The fact the our local companies refuse do work in our local rds is astonishing to me. A tow/wrecker company with zero work or moral ethic.

I recently had car problems while staying in Taos. The owner of the company, Amos, went above and beyond anything I could imagine! He was so kind as well as a very knowledgeable mechanic ! My car problem was resolved and I am very grateful for him and his remarkable team.

Only AAA provider in the Taos, NM area, but if it's after 8pm, don't bother because "they work too hard" to respond to a call "so late at night." 35 yr resident. 28 yrs with AAA. 2nd service call in past 20 yrs. It must feel good to be the only option and just decide not to do your job. Filing formal complaint with AAA.

Phenomenal people. Pops & Amos took care of us like we were family - they got us safely off the road and back to Taos, stored our vehicle, and then dropped us off at a bar while we waiting for our ride. They were beyond accommodating and embodied everything that New Mexican hospitality and community is all about. Can’t recommend them enough

We had an accident coming back from Taos to Santa Fe and got stranded in an isolated spot with no internet. Somehow, using a good samaritan we called AC Towing and got excellent professional help. The driver 'Andrew' was simply wonderful: considerate, helpful and understanding. He took us and the damaged rental car to the Budget office at the airport and offered to drop us at the hotel and turned a day that was a nightmare till then into one memorable. AAA Auto Club put me in touch with AC Towing. Gene showed up promptly to help me with my flat tire. He put on the spare which was almost flat! Within a few minutes , he had restored the proper air pressure in the spare and even recommended two places to get my flat tire repaired.
Friendly, professional service which saved our day. Highly recommend.

AC towing made getting my truck to mechanic super easy ! I set up an appt day & time by calling them, they sent a link for payment & driver showed up right on time ( Andrew was excellent ) & delivered my truck easily to mechanic- so now I can get it fixed ! Thanks !! Highly recommend

I would have posted 0 starts. When I called them and asked them we are stucked in a freezing cold air environment so we will take your service if you can provide me within 30-40 mins. They confirmed me that, surely their driver will reach within an hour. I paid and kept waiting. Their driver came after almost 3.5 hours which was absurd. Meanwhile I had to solve the issue from other source. I called them several times, each time they told me that, okay we are checking it or, our driver is on their way. He will call you in a while.

Later I asked for a refund and they never respond me. Such an irresponsible company. Cheater !! Never take their service.

We are in Angel Fire, NM, (temporarily) and when you have car trouble you are in trouble. On Sept. 30 We called AAA for roadside assistance. They sent AC Towing to take our car to Taos NM to be diagnosed. Our driver was Forrest, and I cannot say enough nice things about him. He arrived quickly, was very professional, knowledgeable about where the car was to go, tried to see if he could start the car, and quickly took it to Taos.
I have never been disappointed with AAA or the companies they have sent to help us, but this was exceptional. Thank you Forrest and AC towing

Driver showed up one hour late. Being visibly a drunk and or a drug addict. Completely unprofessional their employee was unclean, unkempt, harassing and verbally accosting. Furthermore for a simple in town gas emergency request, their response for an on-site service, was only 1.5 gallons of gas instead 5 gallons. So that their company can charge last minute for an expensive tow instead. Driver drove so close to my Ford Raptor that I was concerned about damage to the sports vehicle. When asking to move the truck over as it was not a tow but a gas can service, he refused and actually began to break the state and federal legal laws for Emergency services. Which I intend to sue for.

Have always had excellent experiences with AC Towing. Most recently my car stalled on Hwy 150 (not fun) and I had to have it towed to my mechanic on a busy Monday morning. Gene was calm, polite, careful with my beloved vehicle and very professional. I would recommend AC any time.

AC Towing was a good experience. The ladies in the office, Marla, Marlene and Angela were very helpful and pleasant. The driver, Gene is about the nicest gentleman and professional you would ever meet. Gene aka, Pops was enjoyable and transported my car on time with no problems. All in all a good experience.

Had a breakdown coming into Taos for a visit. Dispatch got me a truck and it did not take long. Driver was professional and even got some local knowledge for our visit.

Called and spoke with the dispatcher who told me they charge $2 per mile unloaded and $5.50 per mile loaded and $135 hook charge. We waited over an hour and a half for the tow truck to show even though he was just 24 miles up the road. When we called to find out where he was, we were told he’s getting close. No real time line given. Just minutes before the tow truck driver arrived, a fellow Texan stopped and offered to go get the part and help me. I told Gus the tow truck driver that we no longer needed a tow and that I would pay for his mileage there and back. Gus informed me that he had to charge the $135 hook fee as well, whether or not he towed me. So I was quoted $300 to be towed from Angel Fire to Taos, but was charged $322.48 without even being towed. I explained to the dispatcher that she never told me I would be charged a hook fee even if I was not towed, and she stated well I didn’t know we weren’t towing you. If you use them try to get pricing up front but I doubt they will be honest with you! We were very disappointed as they had all good reviews. They took advantage of our vulnerable situation.

My insurance contracted this company to town my car after a strange blizzard. In a twist of bad luck my tow service was cancelled. The reason I am writing this review is a gentleman by the name of Elijah who works for this company was our guardian angel and knight in shining armor. This man represents this company with pure integrity. In causal conversation we heard him speak very well about this company, and how much he enjoys working for AC towing. Some people are just made for the job and Elijah made sure we got back on track and even had an alternate plan for us in the event we needed to contract him to tow our vehicle a second time though AC. We are so grateful for him during our situation. 3 poor girls stranded in Taos NM in a BIG bind. There’s something to be said about people who continue to represent their employers even when off the clock. Thank you Elijah! I hope this makes it back to you!!!

Nobody enjoys having to be towed, but Marleen and Adrian made this an amazing experience!
First… spoke with a real person in Taos!
Second…. Marleen quoted me an hour and fifteen minutes and a rate that was about half what her competition word with a three hour wait (the other guys obviously used some sort of central booking service/call center)
Third…, Adrian called me only for five minutes later to say he was about a mile out. When he arrived, he was courteous and professional.
I really hope I never have to call them again, but if I do ever need a tow, I’ll definitely used them and will happily refer them to anyone in need of this service.

We called AAA because our truck wouldn't start and we needed a tow home, which was handled by AC Towing. CJ kept us informed about his ETA, and arrived much faster than we had anticipated. He was professional, courteous, friendly, and clearly knew what he was doing. We couldn't have been happier with the way he took care of our truck. Highly recommended - thank you!

Our hybrid Subaru punctured flat on a rocky road but these cars don’t have spares cause of the huge hybrid battery. This happened in the evening when all the tire shops were closed so we needed a tow to O’Reillys so we could buy and insert a plug. CJ found us easily, towed us into town, and even taught us how to properly set the plug since I’d never done it. He helped make sure every thing was good to go before we drove off. He was quick, knowledgeable, and funny. Literally perfect service. Definitely more than you could expect. Wish I could give him more than 5/5 stars

Didn’t realize it was that icy got stuck called AC Towing and they were fast, quick and dependable on arriving and winching me out of that slick ice.

My camper slid off of a forest service road after hitting a patch of ice, almost taking my truck and camper into a 25 foot deep ravine. Amos was the only one able to come out that day, from Taos, we were 16 miles from US 285 and he was familiar with where I was. It took him a couple of hours, due to distance. Once he got to me, he looked at the situation, and it was a game of inches, but about 45 minutes he had my truck and camper out of the ditch, with minor damage, which he warned me about before he started recovery. Amos prevented a worse day from the one I already had. I can not say enough about his skill, concern, and professionalism. After my truck and camper were recovered, he offered to follow me out to make sure I made it to the highway without further incident, which I declined. Thank you very much Amos.

We got our car into an unusual predicament and needed to be towed up out of a drop-off. Everyone I spoke with, from the dispatcher to the manager (owner?) to the driver were friendly and professional. I was by myself and probably had a touch of hypoxia. Their efficient, friendly professionalism set me at ease through the whole process. They drove me back up the mountain and pulled our car out of the hole it was in. Note - no cell service up the mtn so couldn't use credit card. Fortunately we had cash. Worth every penny. Could have been a horrible situation in so many ways. Our car was fine with minimal damage from the tow that couldn't be avoided due to the angle. The whole process took two hours, which was actually less time than I thought it would take, all things considered. Excellent experience with this company. Thank you AC Towing!
