Nice auto parts store, on Friday evening of course you're going to wait in line

Had to return $1300 part.,no hassel, staff very good.

So I have been fixing my car on my own and let me tell you the difference between any other auto part store does not compare to O'Reilly Auto parts. Here un Taos NM I've been helped so much over the past month very knowledgeable workers especially Elijah. The patients that this man has had with me is a breath of fresh air. When one place says they don't have I and you have to order it from the dealership O'Reilly will more than likely either have it or have a solution. I'd give 10 stars if I could.

Place had what I needed, however I called them a totall of 5 times each of which rang for 3-4 minutes no answer. Naturally think they are really busy so I drive to the store to find one guy actually working while 3 others just sit there laughing. The one employee working calls out for help as a line did start to form. No one showed other employees remain seated with no care. Idk who he is but that dude deserves a raise and the others just cost the place money.

I recently shopped for front and rear differential gear oils and a transmission kit for my truck. They sold me the wrong transmission kit, and said they would have to order the gear oil, not knowing that they had the correct, very common weight product in stock and on the shelf. Is their staff trained? Is their on line product availability and inventory data set corrupted or otherwise unusable and incorrect?. ... I have absolutely no faith in them that they will provide the correct products.

Great service. They worked hard to find my relay. Was a tough part to cross reference. Nice store.

Worst customer service ever!! They Add extra charges for parts with out any reasonable explanation.

Mike was extremely helpful with our flat tire repairs on an early Sunday morning and had everything we needed. He even came out to the parking lot and helped us! Amazing customer service!

Well, what can I say? The 19th of Februrary my 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee, the rear axle on the driver side broke and I went to a competitor and they seemed in a hurry they ordered the wrong part, Not once not twice, but 5 times And so the fifth time I was told go somewhere else and was giving a refund on the part, so we left pissed drove over and walked into O'reilly's. And Joe was there and I told him that I was p***** because of the experience I'd received from the competitor. I told him exactly what I needed he went into the computer. Put in everything we needed to order the part it was $700. The axle assembly came in within 2 days and lo and behold. It was an inch shorter than the original that was broken and removed. So they went back in the computer. It took them half an hour going through the owner's manual Of the Jeep and specifications of the vehicle. And finally ordered the "right part". It came in on Thursday morning took 5 days. We replaced it on the Jeep and I am happy to be on the road again. The bottom line is if I could give O'reilly's 100 stars. I would, Joe and his co-workers went above and beyond to locate the part for my vehicle and the customer service is spot on. I would recommend O'reilly's auto parts to all my friends and continue to use them for my future auto part needs. So the team at O'reilly's in Taos, New Mexico exceeded my expectations, thank you.

Excellent friendly prompt service from Mike helped me address a confounding problem with the key fob to my rental vehicle: it would start but not go into gear Muchas gracias!

Called ahead to see if they took a particular brand of coolant. Juan said they did. I was very specific of the type. I show up to find out you didn’t actually have it. Juan needs to get retrained on both customer service and inventory knowledge. Probably damaged my vehicle even further thanks to Juan. (Wednesday, July 5, 2:20 pm, 2023)

Had to get a fuel pump for my truck. I got one from a different auto parts store but they gave me the wrong one. O'Reilly had the correct pump and at a cheaper price. I was also $2 short but one employee covered it for me. I will be going back to O'Reillys from now on for my auto parts needs.

The Taos O'Reilly Auto Parts store is a great place to buy parts and supplies. The manager Joe runs a good business with a clean, well organized store. I am working on restoring a 1976 Honda CB750 motorcycle and have already been to the store twice today for DOT 3 brake fluid and red caliper grease. The employees that work here are professional and courteous. Good job O'Reilly....FIVE STARS!!!!!

Steve was helpful, patient and awesome when I needed a new battery today. Came here after a recommendation from roadside assistance (AC Towing), and I’m so glad I did! Great job!!!

Came in for a new battery, Joe the manager was very helpful and gave me an honest recommendation, I've never been up-sold here or haggled into buying something unnecessary. He also installed the battery for me free of charge. Fantastic experience.

Had a flat tire and they didn't even ask if there was anything that they could do to help. I asked for use of a tire pump and was told that they didn't have one. Asked if they had a plug kit I could burrow since I had plugs in my car but couldn't find the handles for them and was told no we don't have those to loan out. I only go to orielly auto parts if AutoZone doesn't have what I need or I need it before AutoZone can get it...

It’s a nice little store, and everyone is polite. The only thing is one of the employees smelled really bad, even through my mask. I get they deal with parts all day, but smelling so bad is inexcusable.

Complete Shole of a store. Bad customer service the old guy behind the counter just wanted to argue rather than give me the part I was asking for. Said that's not what I needed needed up leaving the paid for other parts on counter. Don't forget your mask either or they can't help you!

Went there a couple weeks ago for a new battery. Gentleman was knowledgeable and installed it on site. I needed that. After and before pictures.

Fast friendly service. Manager helped us very knowledgeable about parts. Very friendly atmosphere. Workers greet all customers. Store clean and organized. A plus when having car troubles. Able to figure it out and fix it.

I've had several great experiences here. There was the time the guy changed my windshield wiper blade for me in a downpour. I didn't even ask, since it was raining so hard I was going to take the new blade home and deal with it later. He put on his coat and just went out and got it done. Went in today for a bulb. Staff quickly helped me out. Went outside to see which bulb I needed and had the bulb at checkout in no time. They are my auto parts go to in Taos.

Incredibly helpful place!!! My check engine light came on. The manager was able to diagnose why my computer wasn’t reading. Said a had a blown fuse. Found a spare in my own door panel. Inadvertently fixed my radio, my plug, and my system read out. Found out the check engine light came on because of a mass air flow sensor. Showed me how to fix it and sold me the right product for the job. Sent me on my way with a nearly brand new truck!!!

I always seem to get great service here. I've never had to wait long, even when it's busy. They have a massive selection of auto related stuff & will even order what you need if it's not in stock. The staff is friendly & take their time to sell you the right product without a lot of hassle. Keeps me coming back every time!

I just walked into the store and there was a lot of loud and obscene conversation coming from the 3 or 4 guys working behind the counter. Lots of F-bombs. The employees couldn’t even stop their conversation for one second to greet me or offer help. After 2 minutes of these obscenities I had to walk out. Very unprofessional behavior. No customer service. I will stick to the Autozone in town.

O'Reilly's is the best place to buy auto parts and accessories in Taos. If they do not have the part in stock they can get the ordered within 24 hours. The staff is knowledgeable and experienced. The parts are good, never get a defective part and prices are reasonable. They are open 7:30 am to 9:00 pm every day.
