My emergency experience was one to remember. I was stressed and in a pinch my car simply stopped at smiths gas station. After getting a jump I asked if I could be seen right away, not in the best of moods.
Typically you need an appointment but they saw how stressed I was. If it’s anything other than the battery I would leave it and make an appointment.
They worked their magic understood my issue and resolved it with in an hour. Loose and dirty battery terminals. Wasn’t anything serious.
They even took the time to explain what to check and or do if it happens again. Thanks for the knowledge.

I will be a little more humble next time and will always bring my car troubles to them in the future.

We developed a flat tire on a rental car and our flight back home leaves in 2 days. The folks at Napa were able to patch the tire and put it back on in 2 hrs- and we didn’t even have an appointment. They put the spare back on the trunk and all of our luggage neatly on top. Thanks to the hardworking folks at this store for helping us out in a pinch!
I had a very brief interaction with John, and he is kind as an angel.
I was traveling with my young daughter. We rented a car from ABQ, and only upon reaching Los Alamos we realized that the windshield wiper system was not spraying the fluid. Not wanting to be stuck with that problem for the whole week of our trip, we first went to a mechanic in the area, who said he needed us to drop the car and come back in a few hours' time. Of course we did not have time for that. Then we dropped in at NAPA. John filled up the fluid tank in a matter of 3 min, which solved the problem. I offered and even insisted to pay him, but he did not accept any payment.
Such a good samaritan! He reminded us that the world is still a good place to live in!
Took my mom's jeep in with a leak. Clint replaced a $500 part, and the total bill was over $800. The next day, we found the exact leak - same large puddle, same dripping. We took it back and learned it was a hose and clamp. Was not offered even a partial refund for the original repairs that didn't repair the leak. When we called to discuss it, we were accused of having "trust issues" with them, simply because we asked a few questions and showed pictures we took of where it was leaking when we dropped it off. In addition, we were told we were done a "favor" when we had to take it in the second time because they didn't charge us to actually fix the hose that was leaking. Seems like our "trust issues" were well founded.
Great work and a nice team of folks to deal with.
Update: minus one star because they put tires on my car and gave it back to me with one of them flat. (Immediate TPMS light)
If I could give 0 stars I would. I brought my truck in because my breaks were acting up. They said there was nothing wrong with them. So I ended up going on youtube to check some things out myself, and found that my break pad was split in half, and fixed it myself. Can’t believe they didn’t even look or notice that kind of thing. Idiots…
Call them and ask them a tough question I suppose instead of getting a response I Got nothing and recalled and still got no response thank you For your effort
I stopped in to buy some 22-ton pin-lock jack stands for my son and grandson. Wanted to insure their safety as they work on rebuilding a pick-up for the grandson. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable! Had the jack stands within 24 hrs!

I'm lucky. NAPA has professionals on site for both parts and service.
I like to work on my own cars but send my wife's car to NAPA for most work. In Los Alamos NM there are a few good part stores, NAPA is often the most competitive. There are also several good garages for service work, and NAPA is the one I trust most. When I work on my own car I can trust NAPA to get me the right parts, do some of the work, like remove the outer bearings on my '64 Corvette rear spindles and when they work on my wife's car to do the work right and never over charge. Very lucky to have NAPA in my town.
This business is the best !! They have what we need and if they don't they will order it and have it in no time !! Very friendly and professional !! Shop is clean and organized !! Clint, Allen, John ( sorry, can't remember all their names ) and ALL the crew are great !! Highly, HIGHLY recommend !!
This is what an auto parts store oughta be. So many nowadays are chain type glitz selling wiper blades and Mother's wax and polish. This isn't that.
The counter guys know their business and can answer questions and find you what you need. There's a full mechanics garage adjoining should that be necessary.
I had an intercooler hose clamp fail climbing into Los Alamos, the gentlemen I spoke with was very knowledgeable, helped me quickly and even sent his delivery driver to me on the side of the road.
Went to buy oil for my car and a very nice young man, John, went above beyond the call of duty and helped me check the oil level and even put the oil in my car for me. I'm so grateful for the excellent service, and kindness. It's rare these days.
Traveling from out of state, we woke at a campground to discover our truck battery was dead. AAA got us moving again, and this shop diagnosed and fixed our problem: the alternator had given out. They ordered the part overnight and replaced it first thing the next morning. It was the smoothest car-trouble-while-traveling I've ever experienced. The shop employees were helpful, friendly, professional. This happened nearly a month ago and I'm bothering to write a review, so impressed was I with the service.
They did not resolve my issue with my car, instead of referring me to someone else, they took my money and over charge me for installing a battery and break lights. Plus they charged me for putting my license plate on my car, I mean who does that? After paying almost $400 my car still remains unfixed. I do not recommend these people to fix a shoe on a horse... Just my opinion
Took them a week and a half to fix a starter and do an alignment (which ended up costing over $1000)... Got the car back with a busted radiator... Not too impressed.
