I had a steering pump go out. They went out of their way to get it fixed even though nobody in the area had a new one. He didn’t charge extra for the extra work. Highly recommend.
Truck the truck and trailer here to get it DOT inspected. I spoke to the mechanic ahead of time and told them that inspection sticker is still valid and I’m only doing DOT inspection to make sure my driver didn’t miss anything during the pre trip. Also mentioned that woke up to 80psi this morning so we might have a leak somewhere and told them I wanted break measurements on truck and trailer too. They were done in ten minutes. Of course nothing was checked. When I called to ask about the break measurements I’m told they just eye ball and it looked good and didn’t even know break stroke had to be measured lol this guys don’t know what they’re doing
I needed a trailer tire replacement.. I came here and not only did I replace the trailer tire , but turns out they do dot inspections and are a full service semi truck repair shop.
They are also a 24 hour roadside truck repair service.
Friendly staff, prompt attention and are open on Saturdays at 7 am .
One of our driver got his changed clutch here, but they installed the wrong part and consequently cost us over $10k. We asked for at least the cost of the clutch $1500 back since they said there is warranty on it, but once my driver got there, they just told him there is nothing they can do. Absolutely unacceptable. Absolutely do not recommend this shop.
Had an air leak somewhere on the truck. They found the leak fast, was a break chamber. They got it done quick and got me back on the road. Fast and friendly crew.
Went there to fix my air valve they told me get in and we will fix it within 10 min , I went inside the bay and they started to work on it then they broke the parts inside and was trying to open it but they didn't unfortunately, then I asked them do u have new one they said no it will take 2 hours to get it, so my point to all brave drivers I'd u get there before going inside the bay ask them they have the parts or not so don't waste your time...
Called this guy he said that he will wait me for 20 minutes he's name is Pedro I guess not sure, so I was here in 15 minutes and he left with his Volkswagen as soon as he saw me lol.
Other guys told me that he is bad person so Pedro thank you for left me at Easter with blowed up tire bro, I appreciate that 🙏
Truckers. Be careful with this business, the owner always charges you 30 to 40% more than the estimate he has given you. When you complain to him, that is why he promises you free maintenance in the future that he does not fulfill. It is a business strategy that he uses to sell his maintenance, charge it in advance and never give it to you.
While driving east on I-10 one of our Motorhome rear tires started separating and throwing tread, I pulled over to inspect the tire and it was losing air. We were not in a good place off the side of the highway so we limped one mile to the next exit. Thank God there was a Truck repair shop very nearby! There is a busy gas station and truck stop on Stern Dr. in Vado New Mexico where we met Sal the owner of the repair shop. It was later in the afternoon when Sal looked at the damaged tire, noticing the tire behind was also damaged (Dual tires on the rear each side). Sal said he'd have to order our size tires right away as the supplier was closing soon. We couldn't go anywhere and Sal offered for us to stay in our Motorhome overnight at his shop. That night I decided to replace the set of tires on the other side to have a complete set on the rear. I met Tony the shop manager first thing in the morning asking him to order two more tires, and he immediately contacted Sal. By the end of the day we were all set up with four new tires on the rear and ready to get back on the road. We cannot express enough gratitude to Sal and his shop for the help and compassion we received, everyone showed genuine concern for our safety and well being. Sal's daughter works the office and helped with the transition and per Sal's direction helped out with a discount on our purchase.
We feel fortunate that Sal and his shop were there, if it had to happen it was the right place for it to happen!

I've been there twice already. The first time was for a wheel seal replacement, and this this time was for a clutch adjustment. Both times they got me in and out and they did an excellent job. Also prices are very reasonable.
Came to this shop because my cruise control went bad, SAL (owner) said it was the speed sensor I said OK change it they changed it guess what cruise control still did not work SAL then tells me “you have to drive down the road so the computer can recognize the new speed sensor” I said no problem went to pay they overcharged me got the price down by $100 “error in price” I go down the road about 30 miles and I try the cruise control still not working I call Sal he says “it’s probably the computer” 😂 I’m still around the way not too far so I say OK I’ll go back and you check it through the computer he says “ I don’t have availability to check the computer” 🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️
Look I understand that it’s not the mechanics fault that my truck messed up however if you are a mechanic shop and you tell me yes we can help you at the very least you should diagnose the truck and find out before you do “repair” and try to overcharge…it was my brake light pressure switch btw…so first and last time that’s all I’ll say take care guys good luck

Make sure you ask how much is it to change your oil on your truck because i was here one month ago and payed 340.00 now a month later is 399.00 2nd time this year prices went up. Bye bye silver truck repair

$500 for an oil change? You walk in, he will point to a paper on his desk that sais $369.
(Thats about what a big name Co. that includes ALL filters charges total all in) then you go through it, they up sell the water separator, add a disposal fee and ofcourse tax....
Also they work messy and careless about spilling all over your engine and BLOBS of grease everywhere.
I really like this truck shop. The guys are really helpful courteous and quick to respond to your needs. They also are reasonable on prices. I always refer drivers to the shop when in need
Fix ac and they damaged the the heater valves they touch stuff that they don’t know how to fix this people are not real mechanics they just liken to charge more that’s a real mechanic they left there tools on our truck we took it back to give them another chance and they ended up making it worse called them and text sal and he never reply and got blocked just be careful all there good for it’s to change tires
