My car was stolen in Albuquerque, a week later it was found in Belen. Madrid was called to pick it up and they did. It was towed on Tuesday morning I was informed on Tuesday afternoon where it was. I called them to see how much it was going to be. I was quoted a price of 540.00, I was being victimized again. They are out of control with their prices. I know there is no regulation on the pricing of towing companies. Something has to be done about these unscrupulous towing companies. I have worked with towing companies before and I have never been charged such a hefty price. The other towing companies have towed from the east mountain to Albuquerque, from Santa Fe to Albuquerque and never was the price so high. I can only hope that their generosity is rewarded.
If you get stuck out playing in your 4x4 or what have you.. call madrid towing and recovery. They'll be there quick and get the job done the first time. If need to ask for david or david. Both highly knowledgeable in what ever the case may be...
I have to give a hats off to Morgan who took wonderful care of me and helped me pick up my property. She’s so unbelievably talented and stayed late to get me on the road! She could have gone home on time and I’d have had to come back the next morning. The tow guy was super helpful and professional too and he took great care of my pride and joy! If you need help with a tow, give these guys a try! They are very easy to work with! I’d recommend them oh wait-I just did;-)
We had a car that was stuck in sand in a mesa. Our insurance company sent two different towing companies, who both said they did not have the equipment to do the job. I called Madrid and they were very friendly, responsive, quick and able to get the job done! I highly recommend their services.
I popped my tire and ended up in a small ditch during a rainstorm, the kind lady who answered the phone reassured me that I was gonna be okay. The driver Steve was an absolute superhero and worked hard to get my car out. From the bottom of my heart thank you guys so much for making a scary situation feel a little better
If you are calling a tow truck, you are probably having a bad day. Madrid Towing will make that bad day as good as it possibly can be. My van broke down in Albuquerque on a Saturday evening. I went through several roadside assistance programs to include AAA and no one was available to help. Early Sunday morning, I began calling around and made contact with Madrid who immediately said they would help. They sent out a tow truck that turned out to be too small for my vehicle. The owner showed up and between the owner and the tow truck operator, they were able to get my vehicle moved to a safer location. They explained that they had a larger tow truck, but that driver was off for the day. They texted him and when he heard about my situation, he showed up anyway and within a few minutes, had my vehicle all hooked up and ready to move. Worried about leaving my vehicle overnight at a repair facility that would be closed until Monday morning, they took my vehicle back to their yard and secured it for the night, then met me the next day at the dealership to drop it off. While I hope I never end up broken down in Albuquerque again, if I do, I'll call Madrid. Great service and really, really good people.
This was the only tow company who had a live person. The lady was very polite and while the drive back in the tow truck was bumpy the gentleman Tony was very nice and sociable. Thank you guys for being available and ready during late hours on a weekday
The only towing company willing to move my large tool box. David was a wizard with it - hooked up my brand new tool box and got it moved across town without even a nick on the finish. Unreal service! 10/10, will use again.
I’ve never left a review in my life but tony and his partner were so helpful and kind. I broke down in a high traffic spot and had no idea where to go or who to call. They got there in 15 minutes tops and got me and my sister safely towed and taken care of and for a reasonable price. I would recommend them for real. They are super cool and so incredibly helpful.
I just want to thank Tony for being my hero when he rescued me. AAA had let me down after not being truthful. But AAA finally did have Madrid towing come after waiting for three hours on the dark freezing highway. Tony helped me get into the tow truck ( which was no easy task lol) and made sure I got toasty warm. Thank you Madrid towing and thank you Tony
Be careful. This tow company will steal parts off your car from the accident and leave your car further damaged from when they pick it up. Be aware and make sure to take pictures so they cannot steal your parts they want and not damage your car even more.
Had a great experience with Madrid Towing. Showed up ahead of time even though I gave wrong address initially, had excellent communication with the driver David . He was very fast , professional and safe.
I want to make it clear, I did not use this service, so I can't speak to that. But I had to drive behind one of their trucks and they had left on a rear facing flood light that was blinding and distracting. Picture was taken by the passenger.
Dangerous and hostile drivers and dispatch. On the Highway had a driver following super close at 80 mph and turned his lights on then proceeded to drive recklessly and flip me off and follow me. Dispatch treated me like I was stupid and should know they have different color trucks. Rude people!!!
David was very professional and courteous. Took good care of my BMW and towed it to my house without incident. will recommend to anyone who needs tow and reasonable price.
If 0 stars was an option, I’d be rating it. Everything about this towing company was horrible from the minute the dude handled my vehicle all the way up until I was able to pick my vehicle up the following day because the main office lady never got back to me. ALSO to mention; if this place ever has to tow your vehicle make sure they allow you to grab your possessions & turn off your hazards. If you leave your lights on, they will stay on until you retrieve your vehicle and you’ll receive your vehicle with a dead battery.

My family and I ended up in a dire situation when we were driving from Los Angeles to Albuquerque on Christmas Day. About 30 minutes outside of our destination, we got a flat tire and ended up stuck just off the freeway as the sun was setting and the temperatures were dropping. We were unable to fix the tire on our own, our insurance company couldn’t send someone, and there were no Ubers or Lyfts in the area. Just when we thought that all hope was lost, we were able to connect to Madrid. They got us in touch with Travis, who went out of his way to meet us and fix our tire, on Christmas night, no less. He was able to help us install our spare tire and allowed us to wait in his warm truck, even with our little chihuahua in tow. Eventually, the car was up and running, and we were able to drive safely to our destination. Travis even went the extra mile and drove close behind in case anything went wrong. We are immensely grateful for Madrid and Travis for going out of their way, and are happy to recommend them to anyone in the area.
We were on a road trip and a hose blew off (unknown at the time) leaving us with no brakes or steering. As we were in no situation to move (3500 dodge truck pulling a 53 ft race trailer), we were told that we couldn't be towed to the dealer unless we dropped the trailer, well the truck stop we pulled into (using the trailer brakes and muscle to steer) wouldn't let us drop the trailer. So my next option was to have the truck towed and the trailer as a separate tow, so I called Maria (Madrid towing) and she got me all set up. She set up a double tow one for the truck and one for the gooseneck trailer. We told Juliene (the guy towing our truck) what the problem was and he and my husband figured it out and got it changed. No need to go to the dealer and no need to store the trailer or get a rental car or room to stay any additional time in Albuquerque. They had us going and on the road. Yes we had to work in between other tows but the overall fix was less time and money, and more importantly we had fabulous customer service. Thank you very much. Not very many truly good people anymore but you will certainly find them here. Highly recommended.
I own two classic cars and from time to time I have to move them from place to place. I have used Madrid Towing Services exclusively (3 times to date) and will only use Madrid for any future towing service. Madrid always goes the extra mile to ensure all goes well. Constance was courteous and kind when I needed my car towed last week. She made a stressful and scary time more tolerable. Today she also went above and beyond to get me a receipt...on her day off. I highly recommend this company.
A little slow getting to us but they was busy when I called. But they came at night and picked up my motorcycle. Did not charge me alot by far the most reasonable price for a wrecker in Albuquerque. Will most definitely call them again if in need of a tow.
The woman told me 20 minutes turned into 3hrs! Each time I called for an ETA I was given an excuse! 1st one was that the guy they just hired was not all there..non-professional answer..next..the emergency brake didn't work so the guy had to go and exchange the tow truck..guy arrives and doesn't have a jump start! He wants to drag my all wheel drive up on the tow truck! No! Cancelled and sent him back. Called Bones towing company and they arrived in 20 minutes and had great servive5with them..will never call Madrid Towing service again
My car was towed by an autoshop (which I had towed to because my car broke down and I needed auto repair) for blocking business. They had it towed with Madrid Towing.
Obviously, I was rather put out. This could have easily been a rather poor experience. Instead, the company went above and beyond to work with me on a holiday weekend during a pandemic to A) get me my car back ASAP, and B) give me a discounted rate. The woman who worked the till and did the paperwork to return my car was extremely helpful and took time out of her own personal schedule to be able to offer hours to me to get my car back.
Since my car was broken down, I needed it towed to another autoshop to repair it. The two driver also went above and beyond to provide me excellent service. He gave me not only a ride to the auto repair dropoff but also helped me out with taking me to a different autoshop (and back) so I could purchase the part I needed for the repair so I didn't also have to wait for the repair shop to order it for me.
Due to outside events, I wasn't able to get my car from the towing lot for a couple of days, but the employees did everything in their power and more to help me get my car back ASAP. They were friendly, welcoming, and obviously care about their customers, treating us like people and not just sacks of money.
It was a bad situation for me, but they went above and beyond and helped to save a bad weekend. I now have a working car again, and I couldn't be more grateful.

The best possible service I could have asked for they were extremely prompt and prices were much better than other companies and they went the extra mile to get us and our car safely home. Kevin was really awesome and made sure the car was secure and safe going the extra mile to do so even in the pouring rain! It was hard to see and the roads were wet and still felt very safe with him driving. You made a stressful situation be solved as painless and easy as it could have been! I will never take my business elsewhere if I ever needed their services again and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone in need of a tow! Not to mention he was there literally in MINUTES!
