Dugger’s Road Rescue is, without question, the most unprofessional roadside assistance company I’ve ever encountered. Any insurance company that partners with them—like Travelers—should reconsider immediately, because this company’s incompetence reflects terribly on them.
On October 9, 2025, at around 5:00 PM, I received a text from Travelers Insurance stating Dugger’s would arrive in 30–40 minutes. By 5:40 PM, with no update, I called Dugger’s directly—only to be told it would actually be another hour and a half before anyone could get there. Excuse me? When exactly did they plan to tell me that?
I was sitting in a supermarket parking lot with perishable groceries, and the representative casually mentioned that other customers had been waiting over two hours. That’s not “roadside assistance.” That’s neglect.
Thankfully, Travelers reassigned the job to Town & Country, who arrived within 25 minutes. Their technician, Justin, was everything Dugger’s is not—courteous, prompt, and professional. He quickly diagnosed the issue (a simple jumpstart) and had me back on the road in minutes.
Bottom line: Dugger’s Road Rescue is unreliable, unprofessional, and unprepared to handle the volume of calls they accept. If you value your time, safety, or sanity, insist your insurance company never send them your way.
Brian drove up knew that we were getting a tow to the shop. Loaded up the car, promptly, took all the precautions to secure the vehicle off he went well within 10 minutes. Met him at the shop and was able to thank him for doing a superb service. He is definitely an asset to Duggars where I've always obtained great service, with the exception of the first driver that got sent for this job. When requesting, ask to see if Brian is available. If you want your vehicle securely and properly attached onto the truck, Brian will do this every time. Thank you Brian!
This company is the company contracted through my insurance. The service is amazingly terrible. I'll get a confirmed time for towing and they won't show up and when I call they tell me they don't know anything about it. It shouldn't take 24 hours to get your car towed into the shop, but that's par for this company - twice now. The one time they did show up, they waited all of two minutes and left. I wasn't in a position where I could answer my phone and ran out to meet them and found them gone. Just ridiculously bad service.
Duggar’s is unreliable at best, the person who answers the phone is rude, and unhelpful, I get this is Goodsam contract towing, but at least be professional if you say you will be somewhere in 90 minutes, be there or at least call and say you are delayed. Poor customer service. If you are spending your own money for a tow look elsewhere.
Dugger’s was quick, efficient, and communicated well when I requested a tow through my insurance. Their dispatch kept me up to date with the driver’s ETA, and the driver was very polite and handled my vehicle with care. I’ve never needed a tow before, but now I know who to call if I need one again, or any of the many services they offer.
Had a lock out so I requested service through the roadside service with my insurance. They used Dugger and the technician that came was very professional and efficient. Took only 15 minutes to arrive and 2 minutes to unlock the car and I was on my way. Thank you so much!

After too many years of dealing with sub par customer service from AAA, it was so nice to talk to an actual person in setting up our assistance. Russ was there within half an hour to change out our dead battery. He was friendly, courteous, and efficient. Really appreciate the service we received today and highly recommend Duggars and especially Russ.
Beware of this scam! They charge you a hefty $208 for a battery, but if you attempt to use the warranty, it only covers $65 of that amount. You can't even find a battery for $65! The warranty company stated that they intentionally lower the battery charge to deceive customers, piling on a $50 disposal fee and a $75 service fee. When you try to utilize your warranty, you'll end up feeling completely taken advantage of.
Abraham is the worst.
Like another recent review, I had a similar experience. Quoted 1 hr but when the hour comes along they send me a text saying the driver is en route and requote for another 45 min.
I call back 45 min later because no one has showed and Abraham quotes me for another 30 minutes.
Ive been waiting over 3 hours in 106 degree heat while my car is running and the keys are locked inside. They end up claiming that my insurance canceled the request, after 3 hours of playing games.

I had given Duggar's multiple 5 star reviews across several platforms for my initial experience with them. But after that initial experience, it was downhill from there. I had called for a jump start, but I was asked if I wanted to replace my battery, which would come with a 2 year warranty and if I had any troubles nationwide, they'd come to me. Felt like that was a pretty great deal, so I went for it. Drove fine for about 8-9 months, then one day my vehicle wouldn't start. I noticed that it had looked as though a door had been not closed all the way and since I hadn't driven in several days, figured it was due to lights being on/draining the battery. So, I called for a jump service through the warranty folks, but they said it was going to cost an amount that I felt was unreasonable, so I ended up using my "Good Sam" membership for a jump instead. When the technician shows up, he explained that the reason my battery was likely dead was because it was the wrong size battery for my vehicle. Another phone call to Duggar's to explain to them the situation. They sent another tech with the appropriate size battery. The technician was nice and all, but it took him literally almost 2 hours to replace the battery. So, I was up and running again...for about 5 months before I was having more issues. Called Good Sam for a jump and a technician/mechanic came. Not thinking that it could actually be the battery, I explained that I thought that perhaps my alternator was going bad. Nope, he said I had a bad battery. Grrreat. So I call Duggars and they tell me that they are no longer working with that battery company & I needed to contact them directly. Ok, I call and speak with the battery company (took callig several times and pressing all the number to the various departments to finally get through to someone (and all the other numbers had mailboxes that were full). I explain to them what had happened and they asked if I had the invoice (yes) and then they asked for the part number and battery type listed, which prompted me to tell them about the wrong size battery having been replaced, but no new invoice was given to me at that time. He tells me that in that case, he cannot help me & that I should call Duggar's back. Long story short it took me about 3 more phone calls to the warranty place and 3 more calls to Duggar's and still I sit without a working battery. At a couple points through this 2 different Duggar's reps asked me if I would like to "upgrade my battery and get a brand new 2 year warranty". I was kind of dumbfounded by that question. But as politely as I could replied, "no offense, but I don't really trust your warranties". I did ask them to have management call me so that I could try to get something resolved through them, but it's been a few weeks now and no one has reached out. I even tried emailing the 2 reps that I had spoken with at Duggars...no response. I think I will try calling headquarters to see if that may work, but unfortunately I think I may have to take this to small claims court. It isn't just about the money and inconveniences, it is principle. Too many companies are doing these kinds of things these days and people are too overwhelmed with life in general to fight back to hold them responsible. I think we can all see what a bunch of acquiescence gets us as a whole.
Fair pricing especially for the market. Great customer service on both the phone end and the driver David. I assumed Duggers would be pricier than most but was wrong. Couldn't be happier with the transaction and the extremely timely response.

Dishonest dispatchers. They quote an arrival time and then at the original ETA they call and extend it another hour. They literally put calls coming in after yours ahead of yours because it feasible to them to pick up more business 'on the way' to you never mind the time you were quoted. Used roadside assistance and if there is a next time I will refuse this company and you should to.
Had they been honest upfront I would of cancelled and paid out of pocket with another company. Absolutely shameful business. Literally hours in 100 degree weather.
Chris Horne from Dugger's was so helpful to make sure to get me towed safely after my ball joint on my Ford Raptor broke. It was not an easy tow as the wheel was discounted from the lower control arm but he made sure to get it done without damaging my truck. Highly recommend.
We experienced a flat tire as we drove into our hotel in Albuquerque. On-star notified us that we were losing pressure fast as we entered our room. We notified Verizon and Jeffrey set us up with Dugger's to put on a donut until we could get to the tire repair center. Martin came out quickly, and with low lighting, he professionally exchanged the tire with the donut. He was very careful with his work and explained his process. We were impressed and thankful at 10 pm. on the 4th of July. When in need, try Dugger's Towing.
Richard with express roadside was AMAZING!!! So professional, was here in under 20 mins and got the service done quickly and PROFESSIONALLY!!! I hope my insurance pays him good because he deserves it!! Awesome job HIGHLY RECOMMEND! 100/10
Went through my insurance and Duggers was used. Got my estimated time of arrival pushed back three different times for more than three hours.
If it’s going to be a few hours all I ask for is transparency so I can plan accordingly. Wouldn’t suggest using them at all. Request a different company.

I can’t thank Johny from the company enough for going above and beyond when I was stuck on the highway with a flat tire. Not only did he show up quickly, but he was incredibly professional, kind, and reassuring throughout the entire process. Changing a tire on the side of a busy road can be stressful and even dangerous, but Johny handled it with skill and calm confidence
Called for a tow at 10:30 pm. Was called immediately back by dispatch who said they would have someone out in 30 minutes. Got a call back at 11:28 telling me they stop doing tows at 11:30pm which is not what they advertise (their website says they have 24/7/365 service. I was told lies about how we had cancelled them ( we had not ) got 4 total guys from the driver who repeatedly blamed us, the owner, or anyone else he could think of. Do not use this company!!!!
Just had my tire replaced by Jody and Symeon. Both were extremely helpful and polite! They got to my location very quickly and answered all my questions honestly. Would recommend!
I had a dead battery and Jody & Symeon helped me. Turns out it was a relay and they didn’t want to just install a battery to have it die immediately again. They gave me great customer service!!! They were professional, HONEST, and awesome! Great experience!
Duggar’s has provided me roadside many times throughout the years (don’t ask) and they’ve always given okay service. Today I needed a tow and Jeremiah was prompt, efficient and wasted no time - all of which was greatly appreciated especially because it’s so damn hot out already!
My insurance sent them after my car was vandalized. Quick response. Jesse went out of his way to get my car out of a tight parking space. Heather was very pleasant on the phone. Highly recommend if you need towing service. Also they first sent a too large truck couldn't get in the lot. Driver was very pleasant about it and immediately called for a smaller truck. great attitude (sorry didn't get his name). Please thank everyone and keep up the great work ethic!
On Saturday the 24th of May I had a flat tire at around 12:18 AM. The. Dugger employee came quite quickly took maybe 25 minutes maybe. He was polite and professional and he worked hard to get my tire fixed but the Lugnuts were so tight on My wheel he couldn’t get it off. So he fixed the tire enough so that. I could drive it one and a half miles to an all night tire shop. He was a lifesaver. He’s he stayed with me at this house shop. To make sure I was safe then the tire shop guy wanted cash.. So you are guy took me to a cash machine. Me back to the tire guy so that I could pay them. He was a godsend. He’s an absolutely great employee in person and God bless him and God bless your company. James, the roadside tech that came out in the middle of the night to jump my dead battery was very polite and professional. The wait time was 30 minutes. Would recommend this company and use them in the future!

I was rescued today by Pete Chavez! I waited maybe an hour. No big deal! He was so great, changed my flat tire quickly! Gave me a cold bottle of water and worked in a small space to save the day! I was entering the airport when I blew my tire. So much traffic. But he got it done! Thank you Pete and Duggar’s Towing!
Pete with Dugger’s came in response to a roadside service request for my very flat tire. They arrived earlier than estimated which was appreciated. Pete was very fast & efficient & got my tire changed in under 10 minutes. I asked him what it feels like to be a super hero because that is what he was for me today. Thanks Pete! Highly recommend their service!
My tow was booked by a third party and they used the Towbook site which allowed me to share the location as well as get updates on when the driver was headed my way. I also got a call confirming driver was on his way. The driver showed up and efficiently hooked up the rental. Thank you for being so accommodating!
