I cannot say enough about this store and this amazing employee Jose L. Seriuosly considering making the trek and make this our store. He was so helpful and kept my daughter and I calm during a stressful breakdown. The store was clean and well stocked. He informed us of warranties, and his professionalism was and is truly appreciated.
I frequent this store when I am working on lumber yard forklifts...old lifts use common auto parts, but it's hard to find parts without, year, make and model...Vic has been very helpful with searches, they're the best kind of auto parts employee...very helpful without giving unsolicited mechanical advice...
I walk in and see two staff members behind the counter not interacting with customers. "01" asked "02" if he wants him to stay until 4:00 to help until another person comes in and is told "No". "01" turns his attention to me and I asked if there was someone available to install a battery. I was told by "02" that there is no one to install a battery because he is the only one working(Despite offers from his colleague to help him out). There was an awkward silence as "01" and I exchanged silent stares. Eventually we both awkwardly said, "Ok". He clocked out and I went outside to change the battery myself. I brought the old one in after fifteen minutes for my Core Refund. Poor customer service and lack of foresight in case of emergencies. If "01" had a sudden emergent issue in the backroom he wouldn't have a coworker to alert the authorities.
Jose is the best store employee of them all. Very friendly and very nice guy who cares about the customers. Did a great job with me today. Thanks Jose.

It is the worst place, those who work here do not attend to you, they prefer to be talking or on their cell phone, I do not recommend anyone to come here, without saying that they raise prices. Autozone is much better or you can simply find it at Walmart at least there if they attend to you as it should be.
Told to go somewhere else while we're trying to put together the pieces we need to make a brake line for a last minute fix, for no reason kicked out and asked to go somewhere else, all cause the workers had no idea what they were looking at or talking about, AutoZone across the street gladly helped us out
Needed brake caliper and pads for my truck, employee said in stock. while at the store i asked him to double check parts since when i return home and take things apart i have no way to get back to store. After pulling wheel and caliper it was obviously wrong parts i called store same employee stated they would be able to exchange parts if i came back in. My dilemma truck is apart i live 6 minutes away from store they refused assistance there were six autos next to store no other shoppers nobody could deliver parts to my home. I have read reviews about stating friendly and helpful service. friendly yes helpful no! i had to put truck back together drive over for new parts. not the best customer service. (funny my receipt states current member level VIP)
The most friendly and professional staff I've come across in an auto parts store. Very helpful they had what I needed and they were very friendly. It's nice to do business with good people.
I have currently been standing in this store for 15 minutes, there is not a soul around, I cannot pay for my purchase, and now I'm late for work. The employee is here, but he is on the phone, they are grossly understaffed.

Grab a cup of coffee because this is going to be a lengthy one. It is Sunday afternoon and my family and I were on our weekly trek to take care of a family member who is ill and bed ridden. More than half way into our trip we were smelling something burning so we pulled in the next available lot to see what was up. As it so happens it was our rear brake that was smoking and luckily we had an extinguisher handy. What had happen was one of the guide pins for the caliper had seized and wasn't letting the caliper retract. Luckily we saw the Advanced Auto that had just opened a couple of months earlier and it was open, our first bit of luck.
The first thing I did was pull into their lot and started to get my tire off and really look into what was going, yep the earlier mentioned guide pins.
I continued inside and was met with Alan(big hair) and Joshua (glasses). Let me tell you they couldn't do enough for me and seemed genuinely concerned for my situation, which was calming to me. Second lucky strike, thankfully they had the correct parts I needed and also the loaner tools. The only thing i had to purchase, beside the parts, was a pair of channel lock pliers.
I have never used the "loaner tool" option that was available
but thank god they were available. I have been a customer and speed point rewards holder for a lengthy amount of years and I can tell you I'm not going anywhere.
Finally I'm mainly writing this to let AAP corporate and Butler shop managers know they have 2 employees, I consider, that have values that you don't run across that often now a days and should be commended for it.

It’s 8:05 am on a Wednesday. The door and website say it opens at 7:30. The door is locked, lights are on, and open sign is lite up. There’s no sign on the door indicating any type of emergency. The phone just keeps ringing. I would have gone to a different store if I didn’t already open online parts to this location. Myself and two others were waiting in the parking lot but one gave up and left. The other looks like an annoyed worker that keeps trying the door every few minutes. I’ll now have to rearrange my day to come back at another time and hope someone shows up.
Came in on Grand Opening Day! Super nice store. Had to buy some wiper blades. Was greeted by the manager. Jeep enthusiast as well. So we spoke for a few mins. Super close to my home in Kinnelon. Love knowing we have a AAP store now. Better than driving down to the Wayne Store!!
