As a single mother fighting cancer money is tight . And to know I can bring all my cars there knowing I won’t be lied to and over charged is 10 stars in my book! Ray and Paul and the staff are very honest and professional. They are family men and once you walk in you feel like family. They understand and I trust them 100% with all my cars as would definitely recommend to friends and family and family.

My car DIED on a road trip, and on a Sunday too. AAA said to tow it to The Auto Shop, 2.5 hours from home. They diagnosed the issue right away, kept me in the loop, and got it to a junkyard after letting it sit on their lot over a week while I got a new car and the time off to travel back there with the title. All for no money. Really nice people, so pleasant throughout, even my grumpy mechanic brother-in-law was impressed. If I lived in the area I would definitely have them as my mechanics.

Great team, great to work with. I needed my headlights replaced and The Auto Shop was able to see me the same day and do a quick fix. Much appreciated!

Hands down the best place I’ve taken my car, and I don’t see myself going anywhere else anytime soon. For my first ever visit, the owner, Ray, was honest and helped my family and I with an engine and transmission swap. Since then, I’ve received the same quality service every time. Amazing work. Great prices. Honest people.

I very rarely leave reviews however, this is one business that is most deserving of one! I’ve taken my car here several times I drive a lot for work, so needless to say every now and then I’ll have an engine malfunction or mechanical issue. They were able to identify and rectify the problem each and every time. It’s nice to have the peace of mind, knowing everything is done correctly. Thank you Ray, Paul, and team for your excellent service!

I have never known a better mechanic shop in my life. The staff are honest and kind. Without having to ask I was brought into the garage and shown what work was needed for my vehicle. They diagnosed a problem that two other local mechanics could not. Every time I call to schedule they make room to get me in. I genuinely feel like a valued customer and greatly appreciate their level of care and service.

Auto Shop is the only place to have ever serviced my car(2019 Audi A4) in the 5 yrs I’ve had it. They’re honest and reliable and I can’t say enough good about them!

Quite literally saved my butt when my alternator called it quits. Incredibly nice staff, Fair & reasonable prices and excellent service all around. I wouldn’t trust my vehicle with anyone else!

Ray was so thorough and fast when I pulled in with a flat. He made sure my tire was fixed, safe, and had me on my way in no time. I will definitely be back in the future!

Had my Honda accord serviced here today, needed new tires and brakes. I had a great experience with the staff and was quoted a great price (my brother runs an auto shop 3.5 hours away and he verified I was getting a great deal). Good to have a shop you can trust. -Ryan

Planning for a road trip and rook the car to jiffy lube for maintenance. Only to find out while on the highway , they secured anything, no screws , oil leaking. We began dragging the metal protector and looking the closest autoshop. We came across The Auto Shop ! Very lucky and grateful for their service. Friendly , professional and super informative. I highly recommend this location !

I like this place. I bring my car here periodically, for regular maintenance. Good service, prompt work. Mechanics always suggest what to address. Some routine services are overpriced, in my opinion(tire mounts, plugs, brakes) because a good mechanic typically completes work faster than is quoted repair manual time. Stilln overall the pricing is similar to anywhere else.

Paul is the best! He is such a great guy. He made us feel right at home as we waited to get the car done. The service from Kevin and Ken was quick and efficient. The juke box was an extra treat!

The best auto shop ever. Paul and Kevin was haven sent. Our van broke down on the way to a women's retreat. Paul kept the shop opened just to help get us on our way. I can't say enough good things about The Auto Shop. I travel a long distance to use this garage because they're honest, they're skilled, and the prices are competitive. I've been happy with all the work they've done for me and would highly recommend them to anyone.

Best garage I've been to in years. I took my car there for an air conditioner compressor failure. They gave me a straightforward and fair quote and beat everyone else I had checked with. They had a decent loaner vehicle for me to borrow and were very courteous. They were quick to fix and return my car. I will definitely return to them for any future service, and I recommend them.

STAY AWAY FROM THESE CROOKS! I recently brought my car here because I had a funny smell with my brakes. They automatically said I needed all new brakes all new rotors etc and said it would be over $2000. I wound up bringing it to another place who said they would do it for $1600 but after looking at it they said that there is nothing wrong with my brakes and I don't need anything done. Unlike the auto shop who said that they don't even recommend me driving it. Since then, the car's been to New York twice and the brakes are completely fine. I highly recommend you don't bring your car here unless you wanna get screwed by these crooks because this is the last time i'm going.

This place has become my go to spot for Auto repairs. Very trustworthy and reasonable prices. With so many mechanics/auto repair places prone to scamming their customers you can put that worry aside. None of that goes on here. I highly recommend using The Auto Shop for any Auto related issues.

Quality service. Great prices. I needed: 1. Valve adjustment 2. Coolant, ATF, Brake Fluid flush 3. Rear Brakes & rotors. 4. Spark Plugs Dealer quoted me flat rates for the work totalling more than $2500. Quality Automotive at 61 NJ-Rt. 94 refused to give me an estimate without seeing the car. I took that to mean that they reserved the right to charge me as much as a dealer. The Auto Shop gave me a quote under $1600 over the phone when I made the appointment, got all the work done in one day for the quoted price, and offered me a loaner car for the day. (I'm pretty sure they also changed my key battery and didn't put it on the invoice). I will be back next week for work on my other vehicle.

This is a fine establishment, honest and trustworthy people. My family takes all our cars here for regular work, and have gotten to know Paula and Don and the other staff well. There have been multiple times over the years when my car has had emergency issues, and they have been able to squeeze me in last-minute and get everything fixed same day. Their prices are fair and upfront, and they won't try to swindle you into anything you don't need. If you want good work done, go to the Auto Shop.

They replaced both my rear bearings and ended up having to replace my ABS sensor as well, and my car is good as new! They went out of their way to get the parts so that I could get my car back as quickly as possible. I really appreciate them doing everything they did, they went above and beyond!

Brought car in to get an estimate on work needing to be done. Money is an issue so could not go forward with the services they said I needed.They never disclosed that I would be charged for an estimate. After I was asked to sign paperwork that I wasn’t going to get the work done - I was on the hook for $45. I understand that it is time and effort to look at a vehicle and diagnose an issue. Be upfront with people and tell them that they will be charged for that. I have never been charged for an estimate in the past anywhere else. I was honest that money is an issue and would have appreciated being told that I had to pay.

First time using the Auto Shop and will continue to use them as my go to mechanic repair shop. Had a few recommendations from people who I know and on social media mentioning them. I'm relatively new to the area and didn't know what to expect from their services. I was very happy with their work. The diagnostic was diligent and accurate. The repairs were honest and very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend the Auto Shop to anyone locally in the Warren county, NJ area.

The Auto Shop in Blairstown is truly one of the kindest, quickest, and most sincere mechanic stops I've ever been to. I took my 1991 Chevy into The Auto Shop when the engine started running rough (which could've been anything), and they were purely honest with me: they didn't want to waste my time and money, so it'd be better if I brought it in a little bit later when Brian (a Chevrolet expert) was back from vacation. I was fine waiting a little bit longer, and they were absolutely right... Brian took one listen to the engine idling and figured out the problem right away! Their crew fixed the problem immediately, the truck was in-and-out on the same day despite how busy they were, and the price was more than reasonable. They even did a quick inspection and gave me some estimates in case I was interested in having some future work done, and I'm not exaggerating when I say that they were the most professionally done estimates I've ever seen in all my years as a driver. Paula at The Auto Shop precisely calculated the probable labor and parts costs for each of the four estimates, printed them clearly on four separate statements, and even took the time to discuss them individually with me. There was NEVER a point at any time where I felt pressured, confused, manipulated, or overcharged during my business with them. I am most definitely going to be visiting The Auto Shop again, because the friendly people there treated me like one of their own family, and I know that they'll do the same for you.

We purchased a used Golf Cart Club Car from Auto Shop. Their service was informative, helpful and when we told them we were going to check other places first before making a purchase, they were understanding and applied no pressure. My husband and walked away thinking how nice and friendly they were. When we decided to buy from them we went back again this time we purchased it and made arrangements to have it delivered. We love our new toy and very happy we purchased it from Auto Shop.

We love taking our vehicles to the Auto Shop! They're polite, friendly, and fast! They're very communicative and affordable with the work they do. You feel like part of the family throughout the entire process! Thankful for a great family owned business close to home!

Absolutely amazing experience here. Got a tire pressure warning light on my car, and stopped by to see what the problem was. The folks at Auto Shop realized that the gauge in the car was off, and that it just needed resetting. They reset it and checked everything out for me, and didn’t charge a penny. I was totally amazed by their kindness, professionalism, and fairness. Would recommend them wholeheartedly!
